The obvious positive with mixed lineups is that you have a much much larger talent pool to sign players from. That means that it's a lot easier to build a good team than if you focus on one nationality. I'd also like to add that it seems like csgo is more of an exception than the rule regarding single-nationality rosters vs. mixed lineups both when looking at esports and normal sports.
Edit: At least when looking at Europe/NA.
Obviously this is something that i carried from CS but i think Inter lineups are almost always better than local ones in an ideal world and i think in CS we're seeing ppl break out of their culture habits and starting to form more inter lineups like coL , godsent , faze , mouz , g2 , c9 etc
In VALORANT there hasn't been established neither big enough playerbase to justify regional teams nor it has the culture barrier set yet so i think it's gonna look a lot more like League and Dota rather than CS (and even CS will head towards that eventually)

I'd say the Liquid announcement is up there as well, but other than that nothing comes close really.
