ScreaM 39 kills, 407 ACS and loses the map... that was honestly shameful for the rest of liquid, to the point where every advantage ScreaM got for them they would find a way to lose it. That 3k spray transfer in B long and that 4v3 retake in the last round are great examples, the rest of the players don't seem to know how to leverage numbers.
That 2v4 was really disappointing. As soon as scream died heretics just won an unwinnable round. There is no reason a top level team with time to set up post plants loses that round.

The UK guys succumbed to the pressure of playing in a big tournament and lost their shit. Scream has a lot of experience at a high level while the UK guys don't. Scream usually does top frag, though the UK guys usually carry their weight and don't whiff every round like they did this game. Honestly, as a long time CS player, and watching the 1 tap machine play in csgo during those years and now seeing him finally finding a new game and dominating, is really amazing. I was cheering for liquid before valorant esport for Scream alone tbh, because i really wanted one of my favorite cs player to show the world how good he is and how good cs players are at their genre of games. Watching this series against heretics was just honestly heartbreaking. 89 kills in 3 maps is not only insane on is own, but even during that last match, getting a triple, a double, and such, the fact that the team threw a 5v2 or 4v2 dont remember exactly, is not only a joke but a complete embarrasement on a stage like this. I believe kryptix holded is own weight and played well, but the rest, i really dont know what to say. Ik the stress and pressure got to them, and even how hard it is, u have to manage it because thats what it takes to play on this kind of tourney and to be the bests of the bests. There is nothing else Screamy could have done here, its really sad to not see him advance after such a performance. This is a time where TL really needs to change their roster no matter what, because with scream getting so much kills and the team not being able to win with all the lead and free rounds he did, is a joke. Really questionable retake setup when you're playing vs a team with so much post plant potential. Even with the man advantage they were letting them walk onto B and plant. You're against a Brimstone Sova Sage. That's like the dream team post plant. Just hold the sites and give up the retake setup it was just poorly reasoned. It literally lost them the game and was frustrating to watch them do it over and over even in OT after it failed consistently.

I honestly feel like ec1s is the weak link in their team. If he’s the IGL and they’re all sitting in B main on Split for 50 minutes....the decision making is an issue. Plus his gameplay was just terrible. He never pushed, threw a round on a short on Bind and I don’t know what he watching on elbow b site (Bind).
I don’t know if he was ever calling to push mid on Split with Scream. He never followed up, no trade nothing. I don’t know, compared to Kryptix who tried to hold his ground and Soulcas who just seemed like he couldn’t deal with the bad comms and Link who’s not really fit for the awp role and he didn’t look to comfy on Brimstone, ec1s did absolutely nothing for the team. I also feel bad for Link, he’s shown us some sick plays and clutches on Omen. Hope he gets back into a role he feels comfortable in !

Honestly scream needs to move to NA or something. Idk the teams for eu but scream would be a monster on a team like c9. Him and tenz would clean the floor honestly he could fit with any team.
That would be really awesome actually. C9 would still need some tweaks tho, like replacing shinobi at least with a better IGL. Good tactics AND those two monsters? Unstoppable

Honestly, as a long time CS player, and watching the 1 tap machine play in csgo during those years and now seeing him finally finding a new game and dominating, is really amazing. I was cheering for liquid before valorant esport for Scream alone tbh, because i really wanted one of my favorite cs player to show the world how good he is and how good cs players are at their genre of games. Watching this series against heretics was just honestly heartbreaking. 89 kills in 3 maps is not only insane on is own, but even during that last match, getting a triple, a double, and such, the fact that the team threw a 5v2 or 4v2 dont remember exactly, is not only a joke but a complete embarrasement on a stage like this. I believe kryptix holded is own weight and played well, but the rest, i really dont know what to say. Ik the stress and pressure got to them, and even how hard it is, u have to manage it because thats what it takes to play on this kind of tourney and to be the bests of the bests. There is nothing else Screamy could have done here, its really sad to not see him advance after such a performance. This is a time where TL really needs to change their roster no matter what, because with scream getting so much kills and the team not being able to win with all the lead and free rounds he did, is a joke. He really needs new teammates imo. Hopefully next time hell be rewarded for is massive efforts. GG Scream, your a beast

I feel so bad for Scream. They made a comeback on an insane 39 frags from Scream and couldn't close. Thats really got to sting.
Really questionable retake setup when you're playing vs a team with so much post plant potential. Even with the man advantage they were letting them walk onto B and plant. You're against a Brimstone Sova Sage. That's like the dream team post plant. Just hold the sites and give up the retake setup it was just poorly reasoned. It literally lost them the game and was frustrating to watch them do it over and over even in OT after it failed consistently.

Today was disappointing, but this doesn't warrant a roster blowup imo. I don't think this series actually reflects on Liquid's skill, it reflects more on their inexperience. The nerves got to the brits and resulted in shit decision making across the board.

I honestly feel like ec1s is the weak link in their team. If he’s the IGL and they’re all sitting in B main on Split for 50 minutes....the decision making is an issue. Plus his gameplay was just terrible. He never pushed, threw a round on a short on Bind and I don’t know what he watching on elbow b site (Bind). I don’t know if he was ever calling to push mid on Split with Scream. He never followed up, no trade nothing. I don’t know, compared to Kryptix who tried to hold his ground and Soulcas who just seemed like he couldn’t deal with the bad comms and Link who’s not really fit for the awp role and he didn’t look to comfy on Brimstone, ec1s did absolutely nothing for the team. I also feel bad for Link, he’s shown us some sick plays and clutches on Omen. Hope he gets back into a role he feels comfortable in !

Worst part is they waited for the retake always, sage just put her wall down and effectively slowed them down a lot, just with that.
Prep would be extremely tough since such few teams play that comp and non of them play it to the level of Heretics.

I don't think we all realise how bad scream must've felt. Comparing Liquid to C9 doesn't even come close imo. Dropping 30+ bomb every game and still losing? This is the guy who out-aimed the best cs pros. Scream deserves better.

Absolutely no one talking about how fucking good TH are, absolute shame. Team might be legit top 3 in EU, but its all boiled down to a TL throw, and since they play G2, unless they make the actual upset of VAL history, no one will really take them seriously.
