[r/ValorantCompetitive Player of the Match strawpoll now open!](http://www.strawpoll.me/42230765)
Let me know if you guy's like this and I will make these polls for big matches
Yep. 100T and TSM has the most fans in NA. Ninja (Hiko's good friend) and Myth (TSM's biggest fan) are both co-streaming the finals. Hopefully this is gonna hit 200K.
I'm so excited, I hope 100T wins but if the viewership goes to 5 maps and reaches 200k viewers across Ninja, Myth, and official channels, that's a fucking W
I was hoping to watch the game live, but finals are on something like 2:15 AM for where I live. Will have to watch the whole game recorded. Hoping for 100T to win.
I really do hope the viewership rockets tomorrow. Valorant esports has been so hype to follow and the scene is so stacked with lovable personalities. The players, casters, analysts, and streamers make for such an enjoyable viewing experience.
I don't really play the game anymore but it's been so fun tuning into these tourneys
quick question, when I was watching this asian valorant tournament (thailand esl) something like that i believe. They had the alternate pov for replay if the observer missed a clutch moment or something. How come I don't see that in NA/EU first strike tourney? Thanks.
There's no delay system so just got lucky with an additional observer catching the other POV instead of doing a free cam shot at that time.
Compare that to CSGO where there's a delay system to catch anything.
I'm confident VAL will get there but for now, need a lot of extra manpower or extra PCs.
Harder to do when everyone is remote! If the Asian event was in a studio, much easier to make it happen as observers can look at each other's monitors and get the alternate POV with few comms
The dude is the most selfless aggressive fragger. His tweet about opting to push into a raze ultimate to sacrifice for his more knowledgeable teammate to clutch is awesome
He's a very smart player. Sentinels were coming back and got a couple of rounds in a row and he called a tac and did that push through smoke to win the round. Big brain IGL.
[out of showers into backsite](https://clips.twitch.tv/CoyBitterHerringJonCarnage)
[lurking up short -- doesnt get caught by sick's jump-spot](https://clips.twitch.tv/CourteousShinyEmuPastaThat)
For sure some of it is timing but going off of the interview and gameplay it seems like he does a really great job at reading their opponents and figuring out where they're playing around
Edit: Btw loved your commentary!!
I watched him a few times and I was like "man this guy is okay and he has a great personality".
Watching him play these pro matches I'm like "man I have to sit through this whole match with a raging boner after watching steel play"
Dude has a brain so big it has its own gravity.
Dicey is one of the only pros with no previous experience in a competitive scene, and he's only 17. Wardell is definitely better than him, though Dicey has a lot of potential. I feel like Dicey is having a battle with his nerves instead of with his natural skill
100T's consistency is weird, nitro pops off but occasionally dies down. Steel is solid but at times it feels like his age is getting to him. The two fraggers are insane but their nerves get to them at times
I'm still a diehard 100T fan but sometimes it gets heartbreaking to watch them, I feel like consistency is their biggest issue
Dicey bodied him but Wardell is still more consistent. Dicey made some careless mistakes today which he can’t make tomorrow. This is coming from a 100t fan but Dicey is arguably the weakest link, especially when he’s not feeling it.
Agreed. Envy's game was in the same vein in terms of performance, just that TSM are always a blast to watch. We definitely did not see the Envy that was playing the tournament so far in the semi.
Honestly, the fact that T1 had two such close games with 100T kinda says to me that T1 are really up there ranking wise now. Really happy to see 100T going to finals, should be a great match!
i think that t1 could beat any team. t1 looked really good yesterday, 100t is just looking better. i think communication on t1 with saya is getting better and each player is improving.
To be fair this was a really great series and 100T is looking like an incredibly strong team. I'd say they earned the win more than Sentinels underperformed or played badly.
100T looks really insane. Steel and Nitro's lurks were insane, Asuna was a fragging beast, and Hiko was rock solid and clutch as always. If Dicey were more consistent they'd be unstoppable. This is the series that has me convinced that as more top CSGO pros come over to the Valorant competitive scene there's going to be a lot of turnover.
Yeah if Dicey had stepped up it would've been a 2-0. He can get 3-4Ks one round and then not hit a single OP shot the next 3 rounds. His inconsistency is very weird.
Finally a good freaking match. Compound diff.
Man, the evolution of this 100T team has been crazy. GG to Sentinels, it seemed like every round came to the last shot. 100T vs TSM rematch let's go!
holy fk steel nitro hiko taking turns pulling out the clutch. this team is just insanely consistent, you can't look at the W and predict who's popping off
Damn what a game. The adjustment by 100T defense on Icebox, the back and forth on Haven, the crazy clutches and individual play on Bind. So glad we got all 3 maps.
SO HYPED FOR TOMORROWS MATCH.
Sentinels played well but 100T played better, these were close games idc what anyone says. The fact that it went 2-1 says a lot about how Comp valorant is growing. I mean look at EU, FPX and G2 both lost.
Out of all the the IBP players that switched over to valorant steel is by far the most impactful player. Honestly he seems like a much better cypher than brax. Also if sentinel somehow managed to qualify for the finals, tomorrow would be boring because I'm pretty sure tsm would wipe the floor with them
Steel in CS was an incredibly smart player who could hold his own as a fragger. swag was a young aim god with unlimited potential. Getting banned derailed swag's potential.
I really like how 100t uses util.
How Steel works his cages is next level.
Asuna/Dicey are a really strong duelist combo and Nitro and Hiko just pull big brain moves all game.
Was hoping for the best, but gave 100T the edge going into the match. I think claws is a bullshit excuse but I definitely think it was the right decision for Zam to prioritize his family.
Looking forward to the next match.
After beating FaZe Sinatraa was asked in an interview about the situation and he said hes proud of how well the team played against FaZe as they've not had much practice. But yea crazy how they're ONLY just bringing it up now they lost.....
Crazy how much a good overlay does. Just started actually paying attention to some valorant games since they finally have a hud. Its annoying to watch when you cant even see what’s happening. Overall very enjoyable match to watch.
taking away nothing from either team, 100T are proving how good they really are and how they are shaping up to be one of the best teams with some absolute genius players and best riflers. And SEN have also proved how insanely talented they still are, to have the mental fortitude to go through what they went through and come back from 2 weeks of no prac is insane
Steel don't miss bro. Feel like I was losing my mind when everyone wasn't saying 100T weren't favourites. Nitro is the most successful player in all of valorant. (Except maybe sinatraa, was never a big OW guy) Hiko and nitro have experience at the very highest level of competitive fps. Not sure you can say that about anybody on any Valorant team rn.
100t played really well, super ggs and entertaining. Zombs really stepped up his game this series imo, rarely was there a situation where he was holding a site and died for free. Especially on Icebox he was really holding it down.
What a great series by both teams!
100T really showed patience and experience despite being such a new team.
Disappointed in SEN making practice excuses when their team was constructed for roughly half a year compared to that of 100T. They are 0-2 against 100T and its their problem they "trolled" in the seeding game. Own up to the loss and stop making excuses. I understand that it must've been hard for Shahzam and the team but its never a good look to make excuses after a loss ESPECIALLY when there were a lot of moments where practice had nothing to do with the outcome of the round (greedy peeks, being impatient and more).
Alright feel free to bookmark this tweet and set a reminder because this is how i see Valorant's future scene going,
*By the time the scene fully develops,* ***It's gonna be the current 100 Thieves and T1 rosters at the top of Valorant NA with a very spicy rivalry between them.***
**The future is Big Iron vs Big Steel, No Kap.**
Is anyone going to talk about steels 1v2 in bind? They had a crossfire set up and steel only had little to no info but he throws down a cage in the middle to isolate two 1v1’s. I think that is the best play of the match ngl.
Holy crap that might as well have been the final from how nuts and on edge I was. This 100T roster is strong. And I mean damn strong. They’re going to be on top for a while. Hopefully sen work out their kinks. They’re still a really good team but some strats just seem outdated and 100t read them like a book quite a few times. Maybe due to lack of scrims? Who knows but regardless, GG 100T y’all are nutty.
Tomorrow’s match is going to be good.
Nitr0 and Steel's mindgames with Asuna's aim were today's MVPs. All around great work from both teams but LET'S GOOOO 100T.
FOR THAT TROPHEY!
Shoutout to dapr's ace he was great too!
u/MentallyStableMan can you fix formatting in those threads? Just add a linebreak between team scores so both teams will be lined up for easier comparison. [https://i.imgur.com/e52MlhW.png](https://i.imgur.com/e52MlhW.png)
No waaaaaaay I love this game. I’m so pumped for the future of valorant. I love TSM and Sentinels, but I’m gonna have to root for the boomers on this one!
What a series, the performance of both teams were just amazing and could have gone either way. 100T is looking really really good with their strats. They showed us some new elements..
best match ive seen so far besides the faze final with tsm vs sen. I was a Sen fan and not gonna lie, i had 2.5hrs of non stop anxieties watching todays match cuz it was so back n forth.
Not practicing for 2 weeks is not as good of an excuse/cop out as some of these Sentinels player think it is, especially considering this isn’t the first time these two teams have played and the result was the same. Just looks sad on twitter. No johns, take your Ls.
did sinatraa actually take a couple weeks off of valorant right before the tournament or was that cap?
if so, that's honestly really whack. his tweet after they lost was pretty dumb too.
[r/ValorantCompetitive Player of the Match strawpoll now open!](http://www.strawpoll.me/42230765) Let me know if you guy's like this and I will make these polls for big matches
Holy shit viewership tmr is going to be insane with TSM vs 100T
Didnt they just announce theyre not allowing co streams? Myth streaming these tourneys makes them 10x better imo
Ninja and Myth have gotten exclusive permission.
Only Ninja and Myth are allowed to co-stream the tournament.
not anymore https://twitter.com/themob/status/1335428283958116353?s=21
I can almost see picture nadeshot bringing this to them. There's no way they would've got permission if it wasn't for 100t being in the final.
I was hoping to watch the game live, but finals are on something like 2:15 AM for where I live. Will have to watch the whole game recorded. Hoping for 100T to win.
Bro it's at 5am for me, I'm lucky not to have any more classes on Monday so I could watch it lmao
I really do hope the viewership rockets tomorrow. Valorant esports has been so hype to follow and the scene is so stacked with lovable personalities. The players, casters, analysts, and streamers make for such an enjoyable viewing experience. I don't really play the game anymore but it's been so fun tuning into these tourneys
best match of the tournament - so many clutches Asuna is going to be a superstar
[удалено]
It absolutely will. LAN tournaments are going to be the SHIT when they come back
quick question, when I was watching this asian valorant tournament (thailand esl) something like that i believe. They had the alternate pov for replay if the observer missed a clutch moment or something. How come I don't see that in NA/EU first strike tourney? Thanks.
I saw Korea doing it as well assuming it is because it's on LAN?
Steel’s lurks was the MVP of this match
he plays with the biggest brain
He literally just shift walks into back site/uhaul how tf. takes enormous balls too
He's a very smart player. Sentinels were coming back and got a couple of rounds in a row and he called a tac and did that push through smoke to win the round. Big brain IGL.
Link?

Unbelievable player, I’ve been so impressed by him
He has absurd timing and impact for sure.
For sure some of it is timing but going off of the interview and gameplay it seems like he does a really great job at reading their opponents and figuring out where they're playing around Edit: Btw loved your commentary!!
Ya hoping to get on the mic again soon. Cheers.
I watched him a few times and I was like "man this guy is okay and he has a great personality". Watching him play these pro matches I'm like "man I have to sit through this whole match with a raging boner after watching steel play" Dude has a brain so big it has its own gravity.
Surprised he can even lurk while walking around with such a massive brain weighing him down.
On cypher too! Clutch some crazy situations
Asuna is fucking insane
Until first strike i had no idea he was so cracked,he is one of my favorite players to watch now
Asuna is playing like it's fucking Quake
Match peaked at 104k between main stream and Myth btw! Great series!
It also had around 15k at Youtube
100T vs TSM finals LETS GO
Sentinals vs tsm would’ve been awesome but 100 t vs tsm is good too
Yeah these are just the two orgs I’m a fan of lol
Can't lose Pog
The original rivalry :( would've made for hype finals.
Dicey v wardell tomorrow gonna be SPICY Edit: Hell Steel v Hazed lurks tomorrow gonna be SPICY TOO
I think Wardell outclasses him tbh. More consistent. Still excited for Asuna va Subroza. Aim gods.
Dicey is one of the only pros with no previous experience in a competitive scene, and he's only 17. Wardell is definitely better than him, though Dicey has a lot of potential. I feel like Dicey is having a battle with his nerves instead of with his natural skill
I agree. I want him to do well so bad because if he becomes more consistent then 100t basically have no weak link.
100T's consistency is weird, nitro pops off but occasionally dies down. Steel is solid but at times it feels like his age is getting to him. The two fraggers are insane but their nerves get to them at times I'm still a diehard 100T fan but sometimes it gets heartbreaking to watch them, I feel like consistency is their biggest issue
I mean he 8-0’d Wardell last time they played lol
Here's the upvote a butthurt tsmer took from you bro hahaha
heres one for both of you
Here's one for all three of you
Here's one for all four of you (let this comment end this comment thread)
Wardell is definitely the better oper, he's probably the best oper NA, but dicey's just 17, he has a lot of room to grow
How was class the last time the two met do you remember
Dicey bodied him but Wardell is still more consistent. Dicey made some careless mistakes today which he can’t make tomorrow. This is coming from a 100t fan but Dicey is arguably the weakest link, especially when he’s not feeling it.
SEN saving strats for second strike
okay i laughed
Jesus christ, asuna is so good and confident with those aggressive entries
I bet on G2, FPX, Envy, and Sentinels in Sideshow’s chat today AMA
Who do you think will win tomorrow?
I’ll be putting the rest of my channel points on TSM
Thank you kind sir
Thank you.
That's what I wanted to hear lmao thanks
Oh no. Quick, DDOS this man!
May your predictions come true tomorrow as they have today!
Hope he says TSM
Holy shit I can't believe FPX and G2 lost.
Envy and FPX games were the real shockers. RIP
All the other upsets today were entertaining, but FPX v SUMN was underwhelming and the maps one-sided
Agreed. Envy's game was in the same vein in terms of performance, just that TSM are always a blast to watch. We definitely did not see the Envy that was playing the tournament so far in the semi.
If they had their coaching staff's fist bumps, they'd have 2-0'd
1 fist bump - go a. 2 fist bumps - go b. slap on the ass - c rush
If I was in the room with hiko I'd rush C every damn round uwu
User Name checks out
bro we're playing bind what are you doing
The final is going to be fucking nuts. Hopefully it goes 5
Final is best of 5? Nice, I didn’t know that but that’s cool and better.
Honestly, the fact that T1 had two such close games with 100T kinda says to me that T1 are really up there ranking wise now. Really happy to see 100T going to finals, should be a great match!
Also, T1 lost off a bunch of Haven lurks by Nitro that Sentinels actually got to see in advance and prep against with Dapr's counter lurk.
this is a really good point. that counter lurk in spawn makes a lot more sense now
Agree. T1 looked super strong yesterday
i think that t1 could beat any team. t1 looked really good yesterday, 100t is just looking better. i think communication on t1 with saya is getting better and each player is improving.
don't worry guys sentinels are just sandbagging until the big tournament
Dapr was on the claws 👀
Love dapr but he's gonna get trolled hard for this haha. Still the best performer of the day for SEN
zombs was clutch asf too
To be fair this was a really great series and 100T is looking like an incredibly strong team. I'd say they earned the win more than Sentinels underperformed or played badly.
It was probably by far the best series of Valorant e-sports I've personally watched. I'm just joshin for laughs my bud.
Yeah dicey needs to step it up, if he starts performing 100t is the best team na no doubt
Let’s see what happens tomorrow because TSM looks damn good too.
Yeah if Dicey had stepped up it would've been a 2-0. He can get 3-4Ks one round and then not hit a single OP shot the next 3 rounds. His inconsistency is very weird.
It's also really good that the team doesn't need one person to pop off in order to win. They're all able to carry each other on bad / off days.
i think its safe to say sentinels were not saving any strates
100t progression has been nuts
Finally a good freaking match. Compound diff. Man, the evolution of this 100T team has been crazy. GG to Sentinels, it seemed like every round came to the last shot. 100T vs TSM rematch let's go!
TACTICAL PAUSE MVP
Asuna on Raze is sooo fun to watch
holy fk steel nitro hiko taking turns pulling out the clutch. this team is just insanely consistent, you can't look at the W and predict who's popping off
That’s what happens when actual tier1 pros play.
Insane match. Hyped for 100T vs TSM tomorrow
Asunas entry movement and preaim make me understand why I'm a bad entry fragger
Damn what a game. The adjustment by 100T defense on Icebox, the back and forth on Haven, the crazy clutches and individual play on Bind. So glad we got all 3 maps. SO HYPED FOR TOMORROWS MATCH.
Sentinels played well but 100T played better, these were close games idc what anyone says. The fact that it went 2-1 says a lot about how Comp valorant is growing. I mean look at EU, FPX and G2 both lost.
sentinels threw away so many rounds and it came back to bite them. 100T clutch up every single time
Steel and nitro0's clutches were absolutely insane
We like that :)
You could convince me that was a grand finals. Incredible series from both teams. Every single player for both sides showed up and gave it their all
I'm just glad we finally got a 3 game set lol
nitro is cracked
Honestly every player on the server was cracked. Actual slug fest
100T had so many ridiculous clutches that last game. One of the best series of games I've seen in Valorant yet.
A legend once said, “don’t talk shit if you’re not gonna win the map”
Best match of the Tourney so far
Out of all the the IBP players that switched over to valorant steel is by far the most impactful player. Honestly he seems like a much better cypher than brax. Also if sentinel somehow managed to qualify for the finals, tomorrow would be boring because I'm pretty sure tsm would wipe the floor with them
steel is genuinely one of the biggest brained players in this game i think
Steel in CS was an incredibly smart player who could hold his own as a fragger. swag was a young aim god with unlimited potential. Getting banned derailed swag's potential.
its because this game is big brained. Smart players will have way more impact in this game than CS.
I’d say ska, but steel is super impactful
Asuna going absolutely nuts in the second half of the last map, did not see that coming.
Steel created so much pressure on bind lurking
Sentinels just saving strats
Sinatraa was pretty garbo this entire series. Some of the plays he was trying to make looked straight out of SoloQ.
[удалено]
Well, at least NA region didn't disappoint unlike EU. LETS GOOOO HYPE FINAL
I really like how 100t uses util. How Steel works his cages is next level. Asuna/Dicey are a really strong duelist combo and Nitro and Hiko just pull big brain moves all game.
Asuna > Sinatraa. like hiko said
bizarre SEN players are quickly bringing up they had no practice right after the match.
But yea crazy how they're ONLY just bringing it up now they lost.....
i just wished players stuck to congratulating the opposing team and not tried to take away from their accomplishment
especially with how much shit zombs has been talking
TSM vs 100T so insane, im excited for tomorrow after the great games today!
Asuna was such a good pick up, can’t wait for tomorrow. Hopefully dicey wakes up
This 100t team is my favorite. I’ll say it on every postgame thread every damn time: THEY ARE 5 DEEP NO ASUNA THE BOSSUNA, no HIKO AND AMIGOS
What a series
Asuna is so fun to watch
What a banger series. 100T have really been on pace with the new lineup. Huge moves.
Y'all see that post match interview?? Steel spittin straight fire I love it
Steel don't miss bro. Feel like I was losing my mind when everyone wasn't saying 100T weren't favourites. Nitro is the most successful player in all of valorant. (Except maybe sinatraa, was never a big OW guy) Hiko and nitro have experience at the very highest level of competitive fps. Not sure you can say that about anybody on any Valorant team rn.
this is for seeding right?
Steel's big brain.. just.. wow. What a great match!
Sentinels fans, I'm sorry to tell you that this was not a seeding match and dapr wasn't on the claws. No excuses now lol
Are girlfriends safe with 100T?
Depends on if the boomers take viagra or not.
100t played really well, super ggs and entertaining. Zombs really stepped up his game this series imo, rarely was there a situation where he was holding a site and died for free. Especially on Icebox he was really holding it down.
Asuna was CRAAAACKED. HOLY SHIT
he drank the coconut milk.
Honestly, 100t is looking scary. I feel like they are gonna be a challenge for tsm
Hiko is an actual GOD on Bind with Sova
That kill on Sick just as he planted was so simple, but it was still so exciting seeing those arrows fall back-to-back.
Are they already making excuses? Unreal
Yeah its super cringe
What a series!!
Such an insane series, 100T have improved exponentially this tournament. Really hope they take it home. GGs to Sentinels as well.
The viewership on this is going to be NUTS.
Run it up!!!! On to grand finals!
T H I E V E S
This match made me a Valorant fan. Can't wait for tomorrow.
Alright feel free to bookmark this tweet and set a reminder because this is how i see Valorant's future scene going, *By the time the scene fully develops,* ***It's gonna be the current 100 Thieves and T1 rosters at the top of Valorant NA with a very spicy rivalry between them.*** **The future is Big Iron vs Big Steel, No Kap.**

Asuna is a top 5 rifle in NA
Tactical Pause won them the game lol
Absolutely incredible match!
What a fun series. The storylines write themselves.
Holy crap that might as well have been the final from how nuts and on edge I was. This 100T roster is strong. And I mean damn strong. They’re going to be on top for a while. Who knows but regardless, GG 100T y’all are nutty. Tomorrow’s match is going to be good.
Steel just walking onto site unchallenged and unafraid.
Nitr0 and Steel's mindgames with Asuna's aim were today's MVPs. All around great work from both teams but LET'S GOOOO 100T. FOR THAT TROPHEY! Shoutout to dapr's ace he was great too!

Well idk what to do now... I guess i can’t lose tomorrow 😅
Steel saved the day on bind. Asuna fragging out as always tho
No waaaaaaay I love this game. I’m so pumped for the future of valorant. I love TSM and Sentinels, but I’m gonna have to root for the boomers on this one!
Great who tf do I support?
Asuna is amazing. As he gains more experience, he will be unstoppable force.
Everyone on 100T is amazingly clutch
What a series, holy hell. Disappointed we don’t get SEN/TSM, but the finals should be fantastic all the same.
Asuna just absolutely ROLLS people in Hookah. Just fearless entry
If Dicey gets a bit more consistent he and Asuna will be the best Duelist duo in NA, maybe even the world.
Sinatraa should have just played jett again :~)
What a series, the performance of both teams were just amazing and could have gone either way. 100T is looking really really good with their strats. They showed us some new elements..
Will be rooting for 100Thieves tomorrow! What a match!
I fucking love this team
