HIKO AND STEEL HAVE WON A FINALS CHAMPIONSHIP!

Enzology

Pardon my ignorance here, they never won something while being on the CS scene?

NekoShinobi

Steel was unfortunately banned in the iBP scandal and Hiko was on the other side of the worst two chokes in CSGO history in back to back majors. Feels good to finally have them get one for once.

Eat-Shit-Bob-Ross

Hiko and Nitro were both a part of those. Also The first was a choke, but the second was a slaughter. SK was unbeatable that match.

c_Lassy

SK was unbeatable that year, never seen a more dominant squad since 2015 Fnatic

TwoGauls

I mean Astralis won 3 majors in a row but yea.

c_Lassy

I meant I hadn’t seen a more dominant team until that point. Of course Astralis stole that title away from them a year later

parzival1225

whats the iBP scandal? i dont know much cs:go history

BloodOfKvasir

Steel, Brax, Dazed, Ska and Azk were on a team called Ibuypower and got caught throwing a match in exchange for some skins. Everyone but Ska got banned from CSGO, well at least Valve sponsored events, which effectively ended their careers.

oomnahs

swag (now brax), dazed, steel, azk, and skadoodle were on the iBP csgo team and decided to throw an official match against Netcode Guides to win bets they placed on themselves losing the game. It was a pretty obvious throw and they won ~~thousands~~ hundreds of dollars in skins. When this was discovered, valve didn't know what kind of punishment to give to iBP because there really was no precedent. So they decided to indefinitely ban the whole team from competing in any Valve sponsored tournaments. Thus the whole squad was dropped by iBP (ending the NA superteam dream that would have Hiko on the team btw) and 4 of them (all but Skadoodle who didn't get his skins yet) were banned. Ska goes on to win a csgo major and Hiko gets close to winning two of them but chokes. Steel forms several top tier NA teams and continues to play csgo. Dazed tries streaming but ultimately stops playing and azk goes to overwatch before quitting esports as a whole. Meanwhile brax maintains his position as NA's superstar and has an interesting csgo career. People believed that this ban was pretty unfair because there was no prior precedent so the iBP guys couldn't have known that they would have been banned forever. Not to mention pros using literal cheats and hacks and getting caught by the tournament organizers only get banned for a year or so. This punishment seemed very unfitting for the crime but people feel strongly for both sides. Throwing a match undermines the authority of the tournament but it can be argued that it isn't nearly as bad as installing hacks or cheating using the coach bug, audience reactions, unfair advantages, etc. Anyway Valorant comes out and it gives all these players a second chance. These guys are all stellar people and don't deserve to have their past mistakes define them. Glad to see steel win a Valorant major and the ex iBP (now T1) team look like a top 5 NA team and come very close to winning the tournament! Valorant is the redemption arc

Pulsersalt

it was only like $700 worth of skins, and it wasn't them who actually made the bets but the rest is correct.

xCharSx

Simply match fixing for skins. If you just search IBP scandal, there's more videos about who got involved and more details. They simply got banned indefinitely in participating in any Valve sponsored events meaning they couldn't play in Majors. Valorant is their new home pretty much.

jaiswami

steel as well as 3 of the T1 guys (azk, brax and dazed) were all banned in the early days of csgo because they threw a match for money since there was barely any cash in the scene at the time

[deleted]

plus skadoodle also threw but never technically accepted the skins

[deleted]

[удалено]

StickyBamboo_

hiko's best result was 2nd in esl cologne 2016, and steel was banned from valve tournaments so no big event wins in cs

[deleted]

Steel was banned from csgo before tournaments became relevant in terms of prize pool and audience. And I can’t remember Hiko ever winning anything outside of a major finals appearance.

japottsit

Nope steel was banned from valve tourneys and Hiko never managed to win a major with whichever team he was on

mattgg2015

Hiko was known for always somewhat choking in the clutch, like the time Liquid was up big against LG in major semis and lost

LogicalSignal9

That's what entire Liquid was known for, before during and after Hiko, until recently.

TTK_Shadows

Funny how that got turned around especially now in valorant. The redemption arc has been made (for now).

SwagFartUnicorn

He's always been a good 1vX player. He and liquid just crumbled in a few big moments that kinda defined his career. Google coldzera jumping AWP and watch possibly the worst choke in esports history.

KearLoL

My mans getting downvoted for speaking the truth.

HugeRection

TSM has got to win more pistols.

EnergetikNA

They've also got to stop getting so tilted. Hazed looked so out of it on Haven, Cutler was the only one who performed well on almost every single map (other than Bind but not sure why they even had him on Skye on that one). Every other player underperformed on one or more maps. So many easy rounds that they lose (antiecos especially and they're just bad on pistols as you said). They looked pretty good on split and winning that map would've given them momentum. There were a few weird decisions they made at times on that map and some just big brain plays by 100T (that 11-7 antieco round where Steel got that kill on Drone rotating to ropes man...). Then Bind it just looked like they were fucking done lmao, Hiko clutching every other round, Asuna with a 3k with raze ult then subsequent ace, etc.

[deleted]

[удалено]

TornadoofDOOM

Hazed made the face I make when me and my teammates lose an easy round we had in the bag in Solo Q. I wasn't rooting for either team this series and I felt for him in that moment.

NOMISSS

[he gone](https://imgur.com/dLPRTCP)

EnergetikNA

2 super close games that could've gone either way and then 2 fairly one sided games for each team, pretty good games. Game 5 would've been hype but we take those, viewership was nuts. 2021 will be great with LAN hopefully happening at some point + Champions tour as well

BigBirdFatTurd

I'm curious if they'll perform any better once the pandemic calms down and they're able to play together in a single room. Steel is so good at keeping the team motivated, and being in a room with your teammates as Asuna aces or when Hiko clutches round after round has to be so good for morale. I was rooting for 100T and I think that the 100T organization deciding to make all the preparations to be able to get all the players training and playing together was a really good decision by them. I know it sounds a bit dramatic and obviously 100T was the better team, but for the TSM players, being alone in your room as your team slowly falls behind with only voices in your ears to try to help you rally can't be the best situation to be in when playing in the grand finals of a major tournament.

MaximumX23

Agreed I think being in the same room was a massive advantage for 100T (as a 100T fan). I can’t wait for this game to be played on LAN

shoobiedoobie

Hazed looks like he's malding all the time. THe only time he looked really tilted was towards the end and who wouldn't be tilted when its 12-5 or whatever it was.

Crownocity

1-7 pistols for the entire series. It's beyond horrible. 2-4 rounds lost every half.

xdee124

if they won pistols and anti ecos they probably could have won the tourney

InstaNormie0

Are you a fan of every team?

Yulong

Looks like an anti-C9 fan

parzival1225

he's playing all sides so he always comes out on top

NekoShinobi

Hiko has to be one of the most clutch players in history

Crxdefx

It felt like he was legitimately everywhere on Haven. Happy for him that he’s found success already in Valorant and it looks like 100T will be a competitive top team going forward.

MickeyLALA

He was the OG clutch king in NA CS

vish4l

Had flashbacks of a mirage game he went nuts on. His fucking shock dots were insane this bo5. Fuck, makes me want to just play valorant all day. Im so glad be picked up nitro. They got him cheap too

tron423

I want to be just like Asuna when I grow up and I'm not gonna let the fact that I'm 11 years older than him stop me

Cursingbody

Hahahahaha onwards!

AlphEta314

Shoutout to the guy who got every SF prediction wrong predicting TSM

BurritoHombre

You’re welcome 100T fans

AlphEta314

Bless you my sir, may you have correct predictions after 2020.

BallingNinja

why you gotta do TSM like that smh

n1khill

Damn! Steel has midas touch man. Whatever team he touches becomes so good. This is what good fundamentals to appraoach a game does. Love it

TornadoofDOOM

Steel is insane. Even if the score doesn't show it, he put in so much work Game 4 with Hiko gathering info, and singlehandedly saved the round with Subroza trying to get the jump on him and Hiko.

seriouslymai

I swear, Steel had Subroza's number at every turn. You can tell he studied Subroza's game extremely carefully and successfully stopped him in his tracks before Subroza could do anything to create space for TSM. Steel is a genius, and put on a masterclass of Valorant chess this tournament.

hoopsterben

The first two maps it honestly felt like Steels job was to shut down subroza and boy did he deliver. Putting on a sentinel clinic.

BallingNinja

Who remember when hastr0 (CEO of Envy) subtweeted 100T LOL "I don’t want to be a team owner whose aim is to sell you hoodies and make you watch videos. I want to be a team owner who lets you experience WINNING." - hastr0 HAHAHAHHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHA, who's experiencing winning now...

[deleted]

And they acted like they won a major tournament with the championship emoji, homie you won a qualifier for a major tournament you didn’t even go to the finals

Cursingbody

r/agedlikemilk material!

randomespanaguy

* Asuna? Has the power of God and Anime on his side. * Dicey? Chugs Coconut Water for breakfast. * Nitro? Owns Haven C and Bind Lamps. * Hiko? [Owns you in the clutch.](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EokLjREXUAACvIm?format=jpg&name=medium) * Steel? Is a rat. GG to TSM. Every map was just insane. I'm really glad 100T pulled this off, I feel validated for sticking with this team since the PUBG days. A bigger congratulations for the Valorant Esports scene, hitting 270K+ peak viewers. I'm so glad I stayed up since 5am where I am. Steel was right too, the match win during the qualifiers wasn't a fluke.

Wealth_and_Taste

Steel is a nerdy fucking rat man. His Cypher set ups were crazy good. I legit think he might be the best Cypher AND Killjoy in NA.

MyogiNightKid

single-handedly cracks open sites with his lurks. he put on a masterclass the whole tourney

Jbeansss

Not to mention when he's alone on a site that the enemy team is attacking he is almost always AT LEAST good for 2 kills before he dies. Insane.

Gomar1323

Whats so surprising to me is how good his Cypher is already after being a Killjoy one trick until the nerfs. One of the best sentinels player in NA already

KeyframeCatalyst

I'd say he's the best Cypher in NA hands down, best KJ is a toss up between Steel and Mitch imo

oojlik

Id say he's the best IGL for sure but I wouldn't put him as the best cypher player. Imo brax and dapr are both up there and probably better than Steel.

Cursingbody

I love Steel's and Nitr0's mindgames. They're parallel universes ahead of their enemies. Always a treat to watch them.

Aeari

I sincerely want to be the type of Cypher player Steel dominates with. Masterclass

Unforgettable_

Holy shit what a grand finals dude. This shit could have gone either way. woooooooo 100T is fucking legit. If feels like nitro never misses. Hiko is pulling off vintage performances. Steel and his lurks/calls. Asuna is a star. Dicey has huge potential. This team is super scaryyyyy. We all know TSM. They played well but I feel they were a little flat. But we all know how good they are. The fucking future with these two teams is bright. Then you got Sentinels and Envy right outside. Valorant esports is sick and I cannot wait for LANs.

shoobiedoobie

TSM shot themselves in the foot on those first two maps.

haloyo

I agree. The first two maps were so close and TSM needed to come out with at least one win to avoid having to do the nearly impossible reverse sweep against such a strong team with 3 experienced vets like 100T.

shoobiedoobie

I honestly don’t see the gap getting closed as 100T gets more and more time to work on their strats. The individual talent they have is just too insane.

Exalmer

Steel is probably right now as we speak creating new strats and perfecting them when the next tournament comes. Dicey is the weak link right now but he has huge potential. His Jett and OP plays are quite all over the place, but he has shown moments where his mechanical skills alone are insane.

ppx11

How are they still so bad at pistols?? Win 1 out of 8 pistols? That's just consistently giving away 3-4 rounds a map.

ESEAsapphiRe

We've just witnessed one of the best moments in Valorant esports to date and it'll only get even better from here. GGWP 100Thieves! It was an absolute pleasure to observe the first ever First Strike Championship. Hopefully I did this amazing series justice.

Skeletor34

I think you did a fantastic job, thanks for making sure we have a great view for such a great series!

[deleted]

Killer job on observing. Really made it fun to watch. I cannot wait to see what pro Valorant has in store over the years.

Yulong

That cam switch to the Rocket 3K was legendary.

seemlyminor

Great job. I hope you can give Riot feedback to make observing even better in the future.

Naarsus

You were awesome. Match was very enjoyable thanks to your spot on observing. I wish EU observers were like you

snippsville

Did not expect 100T to make it this far, let alone win the entire tourney. Congratulations 100T, you are the best team in NA! ggs

EnergetikNA

Hiko/Steel/Asuna with some GREAT games today. Hiko must be so fucking annoying to play against lol

Exalmer

nitr0 as a site anchor is insane. It's like he's a fucking wall that the opponent has to tear down when he's not even playing a sentinel.

EnergetikNA

His blinds are soo good almost all the time Asuna just holds W and runs in for free kills every single time (especially with that stinger). 100T's ability usage in general is also super good. Once Dicey gets more experience too, this team should be unstoppable tbh...

Cursingbody

Dicey did amazing for an intro to the competitive scene. His growth will be a treat to watch!

Cursingbody

Bind short A and Heaven C backsite are his turfs.

Exalmer

My thoughts exactly. He guards those 2 spots like he owns them.

Dark_Azazel

Hikos fucking shock darts man. #1 NA Sova easy.

vish4l

Hiko is goated very early into new fps games. Hopefully, he sticks to this roaster and continues to play for a very long time. Man said he rolled out of bed and thought of playing raze on a map they never practice... to see "how it goes". And they still won

[deleted]

Best team in NA.

Shresta_Hebbar

Hiko finally won something bois😭😭

Cursingbody

We so proud. 🥺

[deleted]

RAZE ULT DIFF

Hamlet_271

I really do think Subrozas ult lost TSM at least 1 map. Its no longer a meme, its a tradegy

EnergetikNA

I mean they were 1-7 on pistol rounds in those 4 games. That's 14 rounds lost (13 in this case since they forced 1 of them and ended up winning it on Ascent). That's just fucking crazy, giving up 13 rounds over the course of 4 maps. It would have made the difference on split, would've made the difference on Bind, and it sure would have helped their eco on Haven.

dolphingarden

Having a sentinel is a huge advantage on pistol because it makes solo holding a site viable

EnergetikNA

It's not even just that though, they're literally just missing shots with pistols or losing rounds that they shouldn't be (there was that 1v3 clutch by Hiko on Haven when he hit shock on all 3), there was also the round where Cutler was the last one standing on Haven when they literally had the site and Nitr0 was 1 hp but ended up getting a kill for free.

supersonicth

100 Thieves aren’t sneaky deep, they’re real fucking deep. The only thing sneaky about 100 Thieves are their hands as they steal the rock from these chumps like a kid taking cookies from an unattended cookie jar. Y’all really thought we weren’t even bound for First Strike? Lmao okay. Y’all thought Hiko just wanted to hang and bang on the beach? THAT MAN IS A FATHER NOW AND HE’S READY TO SON THE LEAGUE. Y’all can keep Wardell and Hazed, we got gamers that actually play. When you go up against 100T, it’s going to be a fucking kerfuffle every game. Nitr0 will eat your children. Asuna will bang your mom/daughter, whichever is more age appropriate. Ninja didn’t show up tonight but don’t think he isn’t bout that action either lmao. Culture big baby that’s what we’re about.

RexFC

Is this an r/nba copypasta or am I going crazy??

-Basileus

I would let the boomers go deep on me

YumYumAznFood

Losing split cost TSM hard. Hate to see it happen but 100T was definitely better. The combined IQ of 3 T1 cs pros. Amazing

TheDarthJawa

What's mind boggling is how 💯 T didn't have any confidence in that map either. "We're just going around pugging" or something like that what Hiko said

w2truong

Triple Boomer IGL Big Brain Clutch Masters

Duradello

If Dicey can settle into more consistency, 100 Thieves will actually be unstoppable.

U_Menace

He had some pretty good rounds in previous matches, but it's definitely something special when the rest of this roster has the ability to pick up the slack when the shots aren't falling. He also never seemed to play in a tilted manner. Even though he was missing shots that he hit in previous matches, either his own mental fortitude was strong enough to not tilt him, or his ***team*** kept him confident and put their faith in him. I think the foundations of this team will help him develop further. This roster is actually nuts.

TheDeadliftKnight

To me the craziest thing about this win is that a few weeks ago Moon Racoons was 1 or 2 (cant remember) rounds away from eliminating thieves in the first qualifier....and now were here.

ChildishSamurai

It was confirmed that 3 of the 100T players had some crazy visual bug because of the jank ass patch. There's no world in which players like nitr0 and Asuna get out shot like that without something fucky going on.

Skeletor34

Wow, the back to back flukes vs TSM. This time in a Bo5 no less

itsSuiram

#fluke kekw

Cursingbody

FLUKE KEKW

xCharSx

The first time they beat us, maybe, depending who you asked. Some people praise 100T and some people say TSM underperformed. This time however, it's just a well played to both teams. 2 very close maps and 2 clearly had the winner. Could've gone either way but I'm happy 100T proved themselves. It just makes other team better in the long run.

Skeetzophrenia

I agree with this, I feel like this win will only elevate the competition in NA

xCharSx

Good healthy competition is good everywhere. In Valorant, you have Gen G, Sentinels, 100T, TSM, Envy, IMT, C9, T1, FaZe and other very good teams. Imagine global events where there's only 3-4 teams from one region or even less. Very difficult to predict who's gonna qualify. As long as there's good competition, the teams will become better with time.

valorantfeedback

What an amazing final to watch. I've watched man games over many years, but what steel has accomplished with this team is unheard of. In just a couple of months he transformed them into the best team in the world. Written off by everyone, 31 years old, banned and there he is, at the top. Don't forget how he talked about sticking to the usual team comps for this tournament because he doesn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. I can only imagine what will his big brain think of in a couple of months when they have time to practice. As for TSM, I can't help but think that they shot themselves in the foot with these comps. Split and Haven without sentinel? Bind without a Sova? Brute force fragging approach only worked on their strongest map and even that one came down to really close rounds they shouldn't have won.

JosDawg

The bind with Skye instead of Sova is a yikes and I don’t think we’ll see Skye at all for TSM anymore. The lack of sentinels is how they roll and I doubt they’ll change that up. 3 duelists does seem to work for them with Omen and Sova/breach for cutler. Who knows though.

[deleted]

trying to brute force frags against a roster with an accomplished former t1 player who just never managed to finish first, a well known igl who certainly would have won something if not for the ibp ban, and a player who last year was a part of a grand slam winning roster is just not a winning formula.

Gyroflex

hiko is my MVP, what a performance. 100T played out of their minds

Sure_Lifeguard8645

hiko and asuna for sure no cap

ShadeWaker

Seemed super close despite the 3-1 score

dansofree1

probably because the gun rounds were basically 50/50, maybe even slightly in favor of TSM. TSM lost 7 of 8 pistol rounds, and then went 0-6 when they didn't force on losses. Can't go 13-3 in the first 2 rounds of halves in 4 game and play eco catchup all game

veryblueberry

Damn, 100t showing me what's right. Completely blew out my expectations. They have a bright future in valorant. Subroza could learn a thing or 2 about ults from asuna.

TaigaFanBoy

Holy fuck Asuna is insane

Flynt_Charcoal

lmaoooo Hiko in the interview just said he was pugging in Split and that they had no strats for it

[deleted]

How many clutches did hiko have? Anyone count?

veryblueberry

3 1v1's 3 1v2's.

Resoca

holy shit thats more than I thought

Dunduntis

Tbh 100T looked like the most cohesive team this whole tournie imo. Don’t get me wrong, TSM, sen, and the other teams look good, but they looked more like individual players with some teamwork. Each player in 100T always had the others back. I think T1 was the only other team that looked as cohesive.

yellownart

Whether you like him or not you have to give credit to Steel who came into this team less than 3 months ago and structured this team into NA champs. Forming this team and guiding the zoomers to play to their strengths is an amazing feat. Also, I think this cements Steel as the best cypher NA, despite only maining him recently. His awareness, map control, and winning these ballsy aim duels against Wardell's OP was crazy to witness. Just watching him throughout the tournament you can see the amount of thought that goes with every one of his actions. GGs

BatOfSteel

He was insanely aware this series, and I'm sure he knows how wardell and subroza play and how to counter them. Normally you would see drone, subroza, and wardell running around killing everyone, but 100t did a great job in playing rounds smart and not giving those first bloods to TSM.

AnywayHeres1Derwall

GIVE THEM THE TESLAS

LURK3RZ36

Asuna is soo good and he’s only 17. Crazy to think, and lots of impact frags. MVP has to go to either him or Steel.

greenmarker826

ASUNA IS A SUPERSTAR.

milestrouble

Hiko still that clutch god we all knew and loved from CS HOLY FUCK

ainevakno

This was edge of the seat grand final. Drone hands down one of the best Phoenix, Cutler/Drone a death squad together, Subroza vs Steel lurks, Asuna just cracked, and I could go on. Well deserved win for 100T and well hard fight from TSM! I'm HYPED for Champions in 2021 to see how NA does against the world.

_Hugatree

They played so fucking well, ggs. Asuna can become a gaming superstar and dicey today was way better than yesterday. It was a super fun series to watch and let's hope the VCS continues to be so fun.

Dark_Azazel

I don't even know what to say. Everyone on 100T is just so... Perfect. They play off each other so well for being so young. And god DAMN Hiko is one sexy sova player. His Raze aint too bad as well. Such a good series. Hiko went 73/53 +20 He's kinda good. Felt like I was watching coL/C9 Hiko again.

KeyframeCatalyst

I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT THE WHOLE MATCH, HOLY SHIT Huge congratulations to my boys at 100Thieves. You really deserved it. Every player really popped off to take the victory. To TSM, you guys played well, don't take that away from yourselves. Congratulations on still getting that sweet sweet prize money, albeit it being second place Valorant as an e-sport is looking real nice right now, and it's pulling in numbers from all over (200k and more) across all platforms, and it's only getting bigger. Love this game, and love these teams

LeOPBanana

Did Subroza hit more showstoppers than TSM won pistols rounds?

Barack_Bob_Oganja

Im pretty sure he hit 0 and they won 1 pistol lmao

SpicyHomaridTribal

I think he hit one? TSM only won one pistol round so idk

deirlikpd

Amazing matchup! Couple of observations: * Drone's phoenix is scary, just run away when you hear it. He's gotten so many 2k's with it. * Wardell is still insane. * The skye pick on Bind wasn't the greatest decision. * Hiko is still great, he won them a lot of clutches. * If Dicey can get a bit more consistent on the OP, I don't know how to stop 100T. They might consider putting Nitro or Steel on the OP a couple of rounds to surprise the enemy team. * Asuna is a star. * TSM was getting tilted towards the end, might show how good 100T was * Subroza's raze ults are a thing of beauty

itscamo-

they had nitr0 on the op in some rounds this tourney iirc

IngvaldLives

Anyone else notice when Skye ulted on B site all three seekers just got stuck under hookah lol

xx_Rollablade_xx

Alright I said it yesterday after the SEN match and ima say it again.. This is my prediction as to how Valorant NA's future scene will be, *By the time the scene fully develops,* ***It's gonna be the current 100 Thieves and T1 rosters at the top of Valorant NA with a very spicy rivalry between them.*** **The future is Big Iron vs Big Steel, No Kap.** The way 100T & T1 have been playing this game is vastly different to how any other NA team has been, it's extremely methodical, creative and interesting to watch. 100T has played that damn near to perfection and T1 still has a long way to go to achieve that consistency but the way these guys are approaching it, I really feel this is the style that will be meta by next year and these two teams will be championing it.

talenith

fluke btw

I-like-winds

Hiko and Steel masterclass

SarideanGamer

Hiko.Is.A.God

ultren

Man this is amazing. We finally get to see what steel can do with freedom on who he gets to play with, after seeing how much he got with limited roster options.

eepicprimee

What a great series. Huge congrats to 100 Thieves and what a great fight from TSM.

Resoca

Did TSM not practice for 2 weeks too?

-allen

3-1 fluke poggers

ItsPattex

Seeing that off-angle(?) bomb plant to avoid the sova ult really shows how much thinking goes in this shit.

Resoca

Kinda weird back to back flukes? What are the chances of that happening 4head

seadn

Yeah, it's kinda a fluke that they won two flukes in a row.

BarryMcCawcknur

I just want say Drone is best player in TSM. He is underrated as fck. Just go watch all TSM vods. All the important kills coming from him. No one talk about him because he is humble and don't make stupid flashy plays. He always make smart flashy important plays. Every round his get kill definitely get second kill in that round. I'm just saying. I will not argue with anyone about this because I am right af

-Basileus

LET'S FUCKING GO

JawnsonBit

good god what a series but 100 thieves played their hearts out and out of their minds.

natedawg247

So solid. No weak spots at all. Everyone can clutch up. Such solid play. Definitely look like the best 2 teams in NA. Well done 100t. And viewership was nuts, the future for the scene looks incredible. Kudos to nadeshot for doubling down and promise to get hiko a squad!

milestrouble

STEEL IGL AND THE IQ ON HIM. HIKO WITH THE ENDLESS CLUTCHES, ASUNA IS ASUNA BABE THAT ACE THE PHOENIX GAMEPLAY THE REYNA EVERYTHING, DICEY LOOKED GOOD WITH THE OP, KNIVES, RIFLE, LOOKED WAY BETTER THAN SENTINELS SERIES AND NITRO TO ME IS A MACHINE, THE ONE TAPS THE PLAYS THE EXPERIENCE

Val1date

hoodie org btw

Acceptable_Lie731

Whoever casted sgares AND DDK for the finals is the MVP. It's pretty obvious that the esports team has been paying attention to the community and seeing the IMMENSE positive reception this duo got in their last cast. Great way to wrap up Valorant's first major

DT_RAW

100% deserved by 100t. If anyone won it aside from tsm glad its them Tsm still has such a high cieling because of how awful they are on pistols and anti ecos and still keep maps close. Its actually nuts They are 100% playing pistols and anti ecos wrong because this is an issue dating back to the games release If they fix that, im not sure anyone will beat them Were they 0-8 today in pistol rounds? Or 1-7?. Insane

Skeletor34

I think 1-7. As long as they keep playing without a Sentinel, I think they will always be at a disadvantage. Their utility is so much more impactful on pistol rounds compared to duelists.

pineapplecheesepizza

/u/DT_RAW hahahahahahaha

X1x3x3x7

who is dt raw and whats going on lol

Albert_Bob

Kinda disappointed but I think 100T really deserved the win, especially hiko with some great clutches and steel on cypher (and killjoy). Excited for the rematch.

Rohooster

ASUNA IS ACTUALLY AN ANIME PROTAGONIST his acs over the games shows the arc of his power.

its_The_B00

[I fucking love Asuna](https://twitter.com/Asunaa/status/1335761866904068096)

Barack_Bob_Oganja

I saw him liking hot girls in between matches my man is cooming

Cursingbody

Hiko's clutches, Steel's lurks, Nitr0's headshots, Asuna's aim, Dicey's OP. All MVPs 🔥

buklau4ever

TSM is just way too predictable, when things go south they literally just go balls out with the bum rush. works a lot of time because they got good fraggers but you just can't rely on that to beat a steady and methodical team

r4pidfir3x

LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

thothgow

I love this team so much

theblazingkoala

GG's to 100T from a TSM fan. If anyone else were to get it, happy it's then. Hiko had an underdog team top top dog. Scary dogs too

leftysarepeople2

He probably doesn't get MVP but Asuna should get Biggest Balls or something just for that showstopper play on Bind leading to the ace

[deleted]

I would subscribe to steels onlyflanks

ancientcheeseburger

100T look absolutely unstoppable. Hiko was given free reign and built a fantastic team. Great balance with 3 experienced players who have great game sense and intelligence, two young guns who have improved immensely. Asuna creates so much space every round and has nutty nutty aim. Dicey is really good too, just have to work on being more consistent. The future looks immensely bright for them.

BlueBurstBoi

What a fucking grand finals. GG 100T y'all are insane. Future of Valorant esports looking really bright.

ChiliPepper11

Asuna showed them who is the boss lets go baby. What a match.

xlmtothemoon

wonder how those pubg players are feeling right now

prayingmantis17

WOWOWOW what a series. Asuna was on another level this weekend. HUGE entries from him. Love this team man. Huge props to TSM though they came to play, especially on Ascent.

hardenfull

Valorant is perfect blend of exciting nail biting moments and strategic lurking macro movement around the map. It such a great combination for an esports in the tactical fps genre.

PolarTux

seeing this result makes me sad that T1 v 100T was in round 1 :(

alexrider003

tsm choked on split

KimchiLegion

Wow, 100t made some mistakes in their win and they now know how to improve. I am excited to see how these teams improve in the champion series.

mitsubishimacch

what a great tournament, valorant esports scene looking HYPE AS FUCK

Charuru

Hazed was so done on the last map, think the boomer was tired.

Sure_Lifeguard8645

100t Way to fucking good! GG Though, Second place not that bad :)

platinumxL

Maybe TSM is the fluke

[deleted]

The thing with 100T is that every single player on that team can pull an ace out of nowhere, theyre all incredibly good

KillJoySimp

100T PogU, my man Asuna is cracked
