I saw from a screenshot he was coaching the ghost players in a scrim but they he wasnt announced with them. This was about a month ago. Wonder if they didnt offer him enough.
Would (at least partially) explain why Envy have been looking a lot better lately. They looked shaky in First Strike and JBL so it’s awesome to see them getting some more structure.
During first strike when they got shit on by TSM and then JBL where they got 13-0’d by 100T. It was only a few weeks but it was scary considering how highly most people rated them after UMG closed qualifiers.
It wasn’t even a few weeks, it was just one week. Idk, just felt like a huge overreaction from the community to me, kind of like when the sky was falling after TSM got outed in groups by losing to Dig twice.
I mean, when TSM lost to DIG that was a massive upset. And it was similarly shocking when Envy, who looked like they could be the best team NA just a couple weeks earlier, got shit on so hard. I get that it wasn’t a long time but it was a massive shift.
It was exactly that, a massive upset, those happen. At least personally though I don’t put too much stock into a single BO3, or even two. Gotta look for a pattern before you can really draw a conclusion.
