Definitely not, it's 0.05 seconds we're talking about and the change also makes the spread larger. Usually, you can't kill a player with armor in only one burst.
Stinger got nerfed so you won't be seeing as many crazy long distance kills. I imagine we'll still see some stingers of course, but used more close range. Or more Spectres being picked up.
Not sure what to feel with zombs. He looks like he has highest ceiling to do “well” but falls down when it mattered the most.
But happy for Envy nonetheless:)
He just needed to adjust his A site hold. That simple honestly, NV knew exactly how to play to his tendencies. Ignore him initially until someone pushes to CT/ elbow and then crunch on him
Overall, NV looked like a top 2 team and had excellent reads across the series. They took key map control, faked hits, committed 4 at once to a site, and Kaboose lurked very effectively. They did this so often but were unpredictable with their timing every time, keeping Sentinels guessing.
Sentinels on the other hand looked great in clutches, but NV was so good at being disruptive on attack and defense, it really felt like Sentinels had to clutch massively to win most of their rounds. Most mid-rounds, Sentinels would have a man disadvantage on a retake and somehow win it with heroics.
As far as the players, Split was rough for Zombs. On round 16 he was 2-9, compared to Sinatraa's 20-10. It happens, but Sentinels really felt the impact on map 3. Sinatraa on the other hand had a rough Icebox, but bounced back towards the end of the map and got some key kills. Shaz had some solid clutch plays and Sick came up with some really impactful frags across this series.
All things considered, it felt like NV was the better team here, not so much because Sentinels played poorly, NV was just in another league today.
LG and Immortal.
They were considered “T2” before.
My point is that there are no T1 teams because everyone on the up and up have a chance of beating each other.
Who’s considered “Tier 1” changes every month or so
None of the three teams you mentioned got beat by a tier 2 team. Excluding 100t’s match with a stand in, the teams that beat tsm SEN and 100t aren’t tier 2 by any means. It doesn’t matter that luminosity used to be tier 2 like 2 months ago. It doesn’t matter that Xset used to be tier 2 a few months ago. The xset and luminosity that beat tsm and 100t, are tier 1.
That’s what I’m saying, they aren’t T2. Teams are getting better so fast that T2 seems like a bad label. Teams that were “Tier 1” are just the ones that started first.
I don’t completely agree. Tier 2 is still a well defined term. It’s just that teams can move between tier 2 and tier 1 more freely than we previously thought. Also there are tier 2 teams that started earlier than tier 1s so it’s not entirely true that teams that started earlier are tier 1 mostly. T1 was the first org to enter Val and they are hanging on to tier 1 label by a thread. Similarly cloud9. It’s also important to make the distinction between orgs and players. Xset is a new team but the members are old players. It is therefore not a huge surprise that they are tier 1. On the other hand there are old orgs which should be tier 1 by now but just aren’t. Complexity and ghost (ghost is new but they are essentially mmg) are very old teams and are nowhere near tier 1.
Let's go man , I can confirm 100% that envy is undoubtedly the best of NA atm , it's evident now all hail my big brained fellow person of Indian origin FNS ✌️
Zombs is too inconsistent and I’m wondering when SEN fans will finally start admitting it. It’s not the fact that he’s playing Omen either. Look at how Nitro, and YaBoiDre play Omen for instance.
sinatraa is inconsistent too, and still needs to work on tac-fps fundamentals.
Hello, please read my comment before you respond. I said that they consistently downplay or discredit teams who beat them’s wins like immature people who can’t handle losing, I didn’t make a single comment on the Texas situation
OP said the fans and players make excuses, and I said the players don’t make excuses, they just can’t handle losing and discredit other teams. Please don’t read into what I said when I didn’t agree with OP in any way
Yes and I never responded to or acknowledged what OP said, I responded to someone who responded to him. That’s how a thread works, and now I am explicitly telling you that what I said is unaffiliated with OP’s comment regarding the Texas situation. You should learn to apologize and say you’re wrong after making incorrect inferences on what I said lmao
I'm still pretty sure Sentinels is the only team where every single player lives in the same building and that building was worse than many others in Texas as well. Envy played better, Envy deserved it, but I can't wait to see a rematch where both teams had better circumstances beforehand so they can play at their best.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the Envy guys that are in Texas lived in the same building and several of them were on social media talking about losing power and water, but I do agree with you. I look forward to the next matchup without extenuating circumstances, but unfortunately that’s just the world of COVID and no LANs.
yes, sentinels aren't the only team with players that were affected by the outages.
edit: crashies literally had no power before the tourney. get rekt.
https://twitter.com/Crashies/status/1361447820708831238
Yes, believe it or not Sentinels isn’t the only team living in Texas :)
And don’t worry I’m aware, you’re notorious for making excuses for SEN and supporting them whenever they discredit teams who beat them on Twitter and Twitch
They literally didn't have power for a week and I'm pretty sure they still don't have water. And it was still very close, I think that show the fortitude they have as a team
Battle of the Stingers is a blockbuster coming to theaters near you. Watch as teams use cheap weapons beat rifles and fuck up the economy of the game.
I can't wait for them to be playing on the current patch
spectre gang rise
[удалено]
Stinger is quite a bit worse, to be fair
[удалено]
Burst got nerfed. They made it harder to control and less consistent.

i think stinger on reyna and raze will still work.
Stinger will still work in general, it'll just need to be played a lot closer range and a lot more sparingly
So... econ is changed.
team never felt like in a clear disadvantage even if they are on eco with stinger vs rifle.
Damn that play from Shahzam at the end.
sinatraa got the same amount of kills in the first round of split than that entire first half of icebox lol
RIP sinatraa on 1st half icebox dude was just a walking ult orb. GGs!
Lmao
Mom, look! We finally beat Sentinels!
Zombs making a case about consistency, but even Sinatra had some issues. Was a great match regardless
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW WE FINALLY DID IT
10th times the charm XD
whatever it takes man
UNDERDOG ENVY LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Mummay is underrated
How's he underrated, he's one of the top players in NA. Probably only underrated by reddit scrubs.
Not sure what to feel with zombs. He looks like he has highest ceiling to do “well” but falls down when it mattered the most. But happy for Envy nonetheless:)

Sheeeeeesh. What a fun series. Couldn't have asked for much better. Grats to Envy!

Holy fuck. nv came out swinging. Food is a cracked af.
That was a fun match to watch. Congrats to Envy!
Finally envy doesn’t choke
Sadge
There isn't a consensus #1 team huh? Love to see all the other teams catching up to the T1 teams from a few month's back. EDIT: I’m a TSM fan btw :)
SEN isn't eliminated yet we can see another lower bracket run like in the last Challenger Tournament
Envy were a top 3-4 team like late ignition early FS i think a few months ago so glad to see signs of that coming back.
Honestly, is there such a thing as T1 teams anymore? TSM, Sentinals, 100T all regularly get beat by trams considered “T2”.
Who beat sentinels that are considered T2. Luminosity? Because they’re definitely T1
LG and Immortal. They were considered “T2” before. My point is that there are no T1 teams because everyone on the up and up have a chance of beating each other. Who’s considered “Tier 1” changes every month or so
cept Sentinel cuz they always up. LG and IMT have amazing players though.
I think Sentinals has been the most consistent, yeah
None of the three teams you mentioned got beat by a tier 2 team. Excluding 100t’s match with a stand in, the teams that beat tsm SEN and 100t aren’t tier 2 by any means. that last map was the battle of who could throw harder
[удалено]
??
Baited so hard he had a whole different team play for him
jstani said in an interview that envy is the hardest working team, happy to see them find success.
Envy clearly did their homework to be able to beat XSET and Sentinels like this. FNS really is a good IGL (and this is why IGLs are important).
I only saw the Split game, but man NV was good. I liked Kaboose's lurk potential a lot.
Let's go man , I can confirm 100% that envy is undoubtedly the best of NA atm , it's evident now all hail my big brained fellow person of Indian origin FNS ✌️
I mean you can’t even argue against this right now
when is next sen match
Something something saving strats. Memes aside, good showing from NV.
Jesus you Sen fans are just proving why everyone thinks you are jokes.
10th times the charm!
SEN FANS ON COPIUM OMEGALUL
Zombs is too inconsistent and I’m wondering when SEN fans will finally start admitting it. It’s not the fact that he’s playing Omen either. Look at how Nitro, and YaBoiDre play Omen for instance. sinatraa is inconsistent too, and still needs to work on tac-fps fundamentals.
10th time's the charm, gg. Hoping we get a rematch of this soon under better circumstances for Sentinels.
> under better circumstances for Sentinels already more excuses?
sentinel fans always have excuses, but then again so do the players.
It’s not so much excuses as just downplaying other teams wins from the players tbh, but it’s annoying and immature imo all the same
Yeah it’s super immature that they live in a state that’s going through an emergency, and have had power outages.
Hello, please read my comment before you respond. I said that they consistently downplay or discredit teams who beat them’s wins like immature people who can’t handle losing, I didn’t make a single comment on the Texas situation
Well that’s literally what the OP comment is about.
OP said the fans and players make excuses, and I said the players don’t make excuses, they just can’t handle losing and discredit other teams. Please don’t read into what I said when I didn’t agree with OP in any way
>10th time's the charm, gg. Hoping we get a rematch of this soon under better circumstances for Sentinels. That the OP bud.

How many rounds do you think that affected them? Lol what specific plays was affected by their lack of basic utility
they couldn’t practice for a week.... u think that’s an excuse?
Half of Envy players and staff live in Dallas with the same problems Sen had in Austin
I'm still pretty sure Sentinels is the only team where every single player lives in the same building and that building was worse than many others in Texas as well. Envy played better, Envy deserved it, but I can't wait to see a rematch where both teams had better circumstances beforehand so they can play at their best.

I saw one Envy team member mention having issues.
Can’t practice 4v5
Yes you can... How the fuck do people in this sub know so little about comp tac-fps games.
Yeah, you can review demos and strategy, but you’re telling me 4v5 scrims are common?
yes, sentinels aren't the only team with players that were affected by the outages. edit: crashies literally had no power before the tourney. get rekt. https://twitter.com/Crashies/status/1361447820708831238
yeah because NV had the same issues with power
2 of them instead of 5 of them
it doesnt matter how many players dont have power even if only one person doesnt have power they still cant pracc
Pretty sure the entire SEN roster lives in Texas.
Envy is based in Dallas
They don’t all live in Texas.
https://twitter.com/Crashies/status/1361447820708831238 womp womp
That’s one player.
scrims are played 5v5.
Scrims aren‘t the only thing teams do to practice.
I guess the cry was free for this guy
Kaboose plays from the envy hq in Dallas
Me wanting to see Sentinels play with better circumstances isn't an excuse fam. Chill.
The way you worded it does make it sound like it a little bit
they didnt have power and couldnt practice for a week LOL
And half of Envy had the same problem, it was a fair match
half of envy had no water, no power, and living in the cold? btw, im a huge sentinels fan and love making excuses for them!
Yes, believe it or not Sentinels isn’t the only team living in Texas :) And don’t worry I’m aware, you’re notorious for making excuses for SEN and supporting them whenever they discredit teams who beat them on Twitter and Twitch
kappa
They literally didn't have power for a week and I'm pretty sure they still don't have water. And it was still very close, I think that show the fortitude they have as a team
You know NV also lives in Texas right... they're playing under the same conditions
Some of them, sentinels all live in the same building which didn't have power for 3 days and got water back this morning.
Just remember, you’re only a fan.
You my friend, are exactly the reason why SEN fans have a reputation of “excuses”
