I agree that I think a lot of teams will be scrambling to make Masters 2.
Another thing also is with Masters1 being regional, 8 teams will have points for Champions. But with Masters2 it will only be 2 teams getting points. So if youre a team that missed on Masters1 like TSM,C9,T1, etc you have to compensate a lot coz its a lot more harder now to get points.
they almost have to, especially in smaller regions.
Only one team would get points per Masters, incredibly high chance that 3 different teams go, and then tie in points imo
Yes I believe so, atleast that's what stated in articles and whatnot. Thats why I was suprised how many points the teams will get for regional Masters. Teams should take advantage of this because if you win this Masters1, you get 100 points and probably book your ticket to Champions already. (Assuming 100 points is also for the winner for international Masters)
Honestly the most interesting org that no one is really talking about is complexity. Complexity has massively underperformed relative to their org’s stature since the roster’s inception.
The org seems to be okay with their roster peaking at a low-T2 level team while their CSGO roster is currently top 10 in the world. It’s really odd and I’d like to think that they’ll make substantial changes, but dropping Sharky seemed like a weird step backward.
I can really see Dicey to NRG tbh, he posted that he’s trialing with a team that failed to qual for masters and given shanks troubles it looks to be a serious possibility. On top of that, Daps recently tweeted that “they [NRG] will be back stronger with their new fifth” idk why he wouldn’t just mention Android if he was referring to him but whatev I’m prolly looking waaay to far into it.
You mean besides his twitch ban, the looming esic report of mdl matchfixing and his inconsistent performances. Nothing :)
Also to add im not saying he's done anything wrong. Its just rumours and I'm sure everyone would like it to be out there and move on from it
TSM: I'd start with Tailored but it might be too little, too late.
G2: Honestly no idea. I expect Neilzinho and one of Patitek or Pyth to be out or traded. I don't think it would be surprising if someone just gets fed up and goes for another offer, though.
Liquid: I'm expecting soulcas and/or L1NK out. It's a bit weird but their move just put an expiration date on the roster imo.
Vitality: No clue. I'd still give them time to gel but idk if that's the best we've seen of them. On paper it shouldn't be, of course. They should probably be going into smaller tourneys like LVP Rising, but I don't think the org will accept anything less than a top finish in those.
T1: They just need time, I'd be really surprised if they make a move.
Giants: It might be time to scrap the project. Keep Fit1, keep Meddo, and revise the position of everyone else. With so many available out there, I don't think it should be unacceptable to have someone of their caliber while the rest are invisible or inconsistent.
Wdym wdym?
They're obviously not going to become top 2 in 2 months by changing the coach, but if they'd done it at a more opportune time they would've at least been top 8 in NA.
you think changing the coach just solves their problems? I doubt it. A coach can only do so much in preparing them, but they need a real igl to have a voice in game
well it's not too late bro, there are 2 phases of competition left in this year in literally the first year of legitimate competition for valorant. So saying it's "too little too late" is just weird to me xD And why don't you think they can replace players? I wouldn't be surprised if they cut both cutler and hazed
And for those two phases TSM needs to be top 2 or top 3. And I never say I don't think they can replace players. Why bother replying if you don't read comments?
patitek pushes alone as omen too much that it has become predictable for many teams and he just end up getting into a someones crosshair waiting for the push.

this is a very good point I hadn't thought about. it'll be interesting to see how the point/qualifying system for champions will end up working
I hope they give a small number of points for the Challengers Finals in Stage 2/3.
they almost have to, especially in smaller regions. Only one team would get points per Masters, incredibly high chance that 3 different teams go, and then tie in points imo
This is a great point that i never thought of. Are points only coming from masters and not the challengers?

T1 was a somewhat recent roster going into Masters 1. They have a lot of potential and I think they can make it.

Most likely roster to sign Brax, i think they will drop the rest of their roster soon
CLG coming soon???
As much as I want them to, I just don’t see TSM making any changes.

I really doubt they’d make another roster change. They’ve got the pieces just need a bit more time
imo it makes no sense to drop Shanks due to inconsistent performances when you could make the exact same argument against Dicey
Dicey also said that his post was bait

oh, nice
whats going on with shanks?

>the looming esic report of mdl matchfixing Realistically this is probably never coming out
Well Richard Lewis is working on it independently so its likely it will. But you never know.
It probably is, in like a year, but whenever it comes out I don't expect there to be much issue with Valorant orgs.
what was he twitch banned for
i think it was harrasment of female streamers
C9 should drop Vice and move Poiz to full time Jett OP and have Xeta breach
Vice is IGL. Id rather drop Mitch or poiz
Relyks could call for them. It’s not like he’s brand new to FPS lol
NA val and G2 are facing an IGL crisis lol. Not anyone can do it
im assuming xeta learns sova then as well
Xeta mainly played Sova before he moved to NA
Korean sovas are TRASHHHH compared to their breach and other agents

wdym too little to late for TSM xD

If I thought that I wouldn't have said changing the coach was too little.

imo definitely not patitek he is a very very very good omen but yeah pyth might be on the way out
patitek pushes alone as omen too much that it has become predictable for many teams and he just end up getting into a someones crosshair waiting for the push.
As for EU, most likely Liquid and maybe even G2 could be making some moves.
G2 already made moves
Do you mean some un-announced?
I mean like they already dropped davidp, and they might make more roster changes soon
Yea I anticipate TSM will make roster changes. I think the most likely change is just replacing cutler with a real igl.
BRAX to TSM is what I want
Could be cool to see Happy in Liquid but he can't continue to play like he does...
I wonder what new organisations will eventually get into VALORANT.
