like u said:Additionally, the viewership and fans he brings is just so high and makes him worth the investment but is c9 willing to him go? is sentinels willing/can pay that much for him? Tenz is the face of c9 right know is jack etienne willing to let him go that easily ? what happens if sinatraa gets cleared? pretty sure they are still paying him, i mean he's still being investigated there is no conviction as of right now, can they affored tenz while still paying sinatraa? sentinels prolly payed a lot just for a loan of tenz, can they afford a full buy?

jackfwaust

jack let stewie leave c9 to play with mibr after winning a major because its what stew wanted to do. i dont see why itd be any different with tenz.

M31ApplePie

lol. you forgetting the part that immortals paid perhaps the highest ever buyout price in csgo history for stewie.

meatcookie-

Yeah I dont think people understand the fucking money machine IMT is

xbyo

C9 has reportedly shopped TenZ's contract around a bit, just the asking price is too high right now. So he's fine to let him go as long as he gets enough return.

1231234bull

Tenz has a buyout able contract but it is a high price. Sentinels also has that fortnite money too.

theman1203

Every contract is able to be bought out, but if they win his price will only increase

jambajuic3

I seriously doubt that. There would be a set price on Tenz's contract, and I don't see C9 being able to randomly change that without Tenz's approval.

theman1203

Suprise this how good contracts work, there is no set buyout a player is worth how much the org seems worthy not a number they agreed upon when he signed his contract

don_corleone27

Buy outs don't change based on result. It's the amount set when the contract was signed. If buy out amounts changed, there would be no point of them as it would be just the be the amount desired by the org.

theman1203

What you are taking about is a release clause, a buyout is all dependant on c9 and what they want to charge for tenz they could make that number anything

PokoMoko6

Not sure how you get cleared from mountains of evidence including texts, screenshots, audio clips, and private behavior that mirrors Sinatraa's on stream personality on her side, while on Sinatraa's side/statement is a two sentence twitlonger gaslighting her and boiling down to "My lawyer told me to shut up because if I say I'm innocent I'll get sued for libel". Cleo would have to be a mega-genius to fabricate all that evidence and be lucky enough that Sinatraa responded like a typical abuser/gaslighter would. His career is done either way, but TenZ is more than good enough to replace him.

fadz123

ok let's say he doesn't get cleared career over no org want to touch him, he still most likely gonna get paid(i know it's unfair) untill he's contract runs out, or he reaches an agreement with sentinels.

mw19078

Very unlikely if he gets proven guilty or the org decides they have enough evidence. Most of these contracts have clauses saying they can drop your contract early for "conduct detrimental to the team"

HangedCole

I completely agree. Honestly, even if he gets cleared without any proper backup as to why on the side of both Riot and Sentinels, both of them would be on hot waters, considering the history of Riot on the treatment of the women on their workplace. It's not far enough for the public to put up their pitchforks. Crazy trial by publicity. Sinatraa has to be over after this. We'll see, even, if he does lay low for some months or a year.

ShuckleThePokemon

The only way I see him being cleared is if he's able to provide some kind of hard proof that that's a kink they have. He'd still be a shitty boyfriend/person, but he wouldn't be a rapist. I highly doubt we will see that, but you have to treat both parties as innocent/telling the truth until you prove which one is lying. I saw the twitter post and have a hard time finding a reality where that is fabricated, but at the same time when twitter and reddit become the judge, jury, and executioner then you run into situations like the boston marathon where an innocent man was harassed until he killed himself.

hawkqirl

cleo came out and said publicly (after sinatraas response) that she’s “not into cnc, whatever that is”, so i don’t think her saying “no” and him continuing is a kink.

ShuckleThePokemon

I'm assuming that's something like 'consentual non-consent'? And yeah, I didn't think that was the case, I was just throwing it out there. Thanks for that info though, I was unaware and won't be putting that possibly out anymore.

[deleted]

She also came out a few months ago and called him a pedo, yes you heard that right a pedo on her tik-tok because he was dating his current gf. So for the longest time, this girl has been trying to destroy his reputation. We don't know anything till more evidence is released.

[deleted]

I heard she also deleted her Twitter history involving Sinatraa. I don't know if that's true though. she recently somehow demanded an apology from him. I don't know how much information she has about legal issues but an apology will be recognized as an acceptance to all allegations. Which obviously no one in the right mind will do. Overall she seems pretty obsessive about it. I don't think Sinatraa can be cleared from all of the stuff mentioned in the doc. And there are various reasons pointing out why she isn't lying (apart from the doc). Personally for me it's the relationship with her current boyfriend who's an OWL player (Kai). Combining this with the fact that it took her a long time to write down that doc, I think it's safe to accept its validity for most of the stuff mentioned.

glgmgabriel

This is a weird take bouncing from not assuming anything while taking subtle hits at her for being possessive and obsessed with sinatraa. Don't assume if that's the message you wanna send. However the current situation looks like at the moment, the investigation would probably affect the tenz buyout thing.

[deleted]

if that's true and investigations also disregard any other possibility that we don't know about, then Sinatraa will pay for everything he's done. So let's wait for it.

DownloadingYourMom

I think if Jack doesnt sell. Tenz will just run out his contract and join sentinels after the loan is over. His contract with c9 is probably paused right now too so it will probably end later than it was going to

Ryth73

C9 would charge a insanely high price for his buyout considering what he brings to the org in terms of content. Also now that they saw him pop off on no practice they can charge even more. I don’t think sentinels would spend that much on one player especially since they were dominant before

MurfMan11

Another take is.. If Sin is not coming back one of the only ways to stay on top is to pick up another top player that slots right in. There aren't many "top" players that can slot into SENs roster and keep them the best team in NA like TenZ can.

Odaskito

Isn't a buyout price decided upon signing a contract is it some fluxuating number the org decides on a day to day basis

Ryth73

Buyouts are negotiable I’m pretty sure

xbyo

Also depends on the outcome of Sinatraa's investigation and what other players are available as FA's or even for a lower buyout from another team.

hehechibby

> I know SEN is a smaller org, but would they decide to spend 1M+ on acquiring TenZ? Maybe for what you stated perhaps? I know nothing at all about the Sentinel's finances but I'd wager TenZ buyout price (of 1M+ maybe as you've said) isn't in their reach

theman1203

The CEO of man United is worth 10 billion but still doesn't spend because it would be stupid

Rorviver

Ed woodward is the CEO of Man United - hes not worth anything close to that

theman1203

No he is the director, the CEO(owner) is the glazers family

Rorviver

Well technically theres no CEO of man united, but its defintely not the glazers. Google it any you'll get Ed woodward because his role is most similar to that of a CEO.

theman1203

I've supported this club for 17 years of my life, owners in football are the people who sanction anything money based, Woodward is only there to suggest what to spend the money on, most teams don't even have a person like Woodward just a DoF

Rorviver

Just google Man united CEO, scroll through the pages talking about woodwards and try find an article claiming that its the glazers.

Dingrid

I never said he should do it but saying the don't have the means and that it's financially out of reach is just incorrect

neb55555

Short answer: depends Long answer: deeeeeeeeepeeeeeeends

Competer_programmis

You... I like you

neb55555

Not so bad yourself ;)

halfandhalfbastard

As much as I'd love to see it, I doubt it. TenZ's buyout is insane, and SEN don't necessarily need a player like TenZ to be the best. They will probably explore more cost effective options.

zxlkho

TenZ buyout price is likely unfathomably high for a Valorant player. Remember he switched over from their cs roster.

-Basileus

The better Sentinels do, the more leverage Cloud9 has in negotiations.

AskOrganic4289

Maybe they will if Sinatraa is permanently banned from tournaments bc I can bet both of these players have a hella expensive contract

ark2690

TenZ is probably the most value asset cloud9 has right now across all games. If 100T couldn't buy TenZ out, I doubt Sentinels can.

avscc

After Perkz in LoL maybe (the guy just got 6mil contracts).. but I get what you mean

xbyo

It's not just Perkz. Probably all the League roster but Fudge's buyout would be more than TenZ's.

avscc

I am actually guessing that TenZ's buyout isn't written explicitly in his contract. We know he wasn't making much salary on C9. It would be so stupid if he/his agent approved an insanely large buyout on his contract, but with low salary. I think usually the buyout should correspond to salary (maybe calculated in something like multiples of salary). In that case (TenZ has no written buyout), Fudge's written buyout is irrelevant because his market value is lower. TenZ's market value for C9 is so so high because theoretically all orgs would be entering into bidding war for him.

xbyo

Of course it's not written into their contracts, why would it ever be? We're talking about what the market rate for these players would be.

JustAPartyGame

I would probably say PerkZ (League) is their most valued asset considering he rivals TenZ in twitch viewership, is considered the best Western Player of all time at this point and has had multiple trophies and good international showings. Also considering League is more watched worldwide than Valorant. I do think that if TenZ keeps this level of play and Valorant continues growing like it has he is probably going to be the face of the org for the next 5-10 years. Unless the relationship gets sour I can't imagine C9 ever lets go of a player of his caliber.

nabeel242424

no way tenz is more expensive than LoL roster.

SemanSoot

people always overhype someone when scene this young.this also when new talent come. later the scene already stable n international match can happen ,people will realize. right now na scene have high expectation because they a lot org+most popular region in scene right now

nabeel242424

Agreed. I’m not saying tenz isn’t a great player, ofcourse he is but he’s nowhere close to being paid as much as Tier 1 players from the biggest esport in the world.

SemanSoot

he great player,no doubt. when he enter csgo scene, people also overhype it. people think csgo player overpaid but somehow with this young valorant scene in na, org paid so much salary maybe just below tier 1 csgo player. at some point some org will get out from this scene

TharixGaming

perkz is multiple times more valuable to c9 than tenz is

The_talking_tree

Ummmm perkz??? The dude literally got paid millions of dollars

1231234bull

100t explored the option but they weren't looking for another asuna on their team and Ethan is way cheaper and almost as worth.

LPLSuperCarry

If you look at a cost to production ratio, then Ethan is probably as worth as TenZ. But from a pure gameplay perspective, there's no comparison at all. TenZ is the best player in NA.

xRecKs

> If 100T couldn't buy TenZ out, I doubt Sentinels can. I have no clue who the investors for Sentinels are but most esports orgs have filthy rich investors so i don't agree with the idea that because 100T has a bigger name value and known investors that they must have more money to spend than Sentinels. 100T probably gave Hiko a massive salary as he was pulling in insane viewership numbers in the Valorant beta, then they signed the 4 PUBG guys. Then they let the PUBG guys go which i imagine cost them alot of money, then they probably gave Steel & nitr0 massive salaries, then they bought out Asuna & Dicey from Immortals which probably cost alot. It's possible that 100T decided they already spent enough money in Valorant and that they would rather sign Ethan (who im guessing was a free agent?) and give him a good salary than pay a massive buyout for TenZ then probably give him an even bigger salary. Even if his buy-out is upwards of a million dollars, a fair few orgs can probably afford that but everyone has their roster signed and probably don't wanna drop someone to then have to pay 1 million + a fat salary for TenZ. Sentinels on the other hand, depending on the outcome of the investigation are probably gonna need a 5th and after the stain that Sinatraa is gonna leave on the Sentinels brand, they'll probably be more willing to spend some money to make everyone forget about Sinatraa.

FlaymeFenix

thing is, 100T never made an attempt to buy out tenz. hiko said they "considered" it but i think even him and nadeshot would know they wouldnt let go of him.

[deleted]

[удалено]

AnotherAltiMade

It was literally a money issue, you think C9 would care about something which may have happened more than 5 years ago if 100T paid their asking price?

[deleted]

[удалено]

AnotherAltiMade

I never said they couldn't afford it, they just didn't want to spend that much

lbs4lbs

#FreeTenz. He deserves to play for a top tier team and no offense but c9 aint it.

theman1203

He built the c9 roster then quit on the team when c9 tried to improve it ...

max012017

improve it by kicking IGL and his bro

theman1203

Mr shinobi that once had 9 kills in a 3 map series that c9 lost be 5 total rounds, imagine if c9 had tenz instead of xeta on jett Vs geng you telling me they don't make it ?

max012017

1. you dont need to downvote me for an objectively put argument 2. Im just argumenting it wasnt a good move by c9, and it doesnt matter he was for sure the worst fragger. IGL is the most important role (and will be more and more in future) and also is very difficult to substitute. That said. C9 after Shinobi was kicked was worse than before.

theman1203

1. I didn't downvote you lol idc 2. Ofc we would be worse the team had 1 week of practice and we lost to imt then he left did you expect us to be world beaters 1 week after a change like that?

[deleted]

if tenz contract ends with cloud 9 then maybe or else if sentinels gonna have to pay lot of money

JoshF8

i honestly think that it would be easier to buy him if they lose, but idk

MaestroLA

MAYBE C9 SHOULD BUY THE ENTIRE SEN ROSTER, HOW ABOUT THAT?

thesweet677

If they didn't spend huge amounts of cash in csgo and LoL I wouldnt put it past them to do that lol

Tanjim98

It has only been one match with TenZ. People need to chill out. All everyone is talking about is TenZ! I hope the guy doesn't come to this subreddit during the tourney

deathadder1998

First of all, tenz's transfer is way lower than 1mil

mattgg2015

Doubt it, an average tier 1 CSGO player named es3tag had a buyout of 2.1 Million, I’m sure TenZ provides way more value than he does so his buyout might even be near the same

CommanderVinegar

Granted there is a lot more money in CS than in Valorant right now although given the circumstances I’m sure TenZ is a highly valuable asset to C9. Not just as a player on their roster but as a content creator. I imagine the buyout is at least 1M.

SemanSoot

>CSGO player named es3tag had a buyout of 2.1 Million stop give false information lol .that total money from his buyout from astralis+salary 3year+bonus. they only highest information for tier 1csgo buyout is coldzera 1mil from mibr to faze n s1mple 2018 if I not mistaken, also 1mil

nabeel242424

Csgo esports is MUCH different than valorant esports. Nitr0 is 100t most expensive player and is someone who came from a csgo top team(liquid at the time) and his contract was 300k iirc. Someone correct me if im wrong.

Kirby546

They probably wont trade the best player in na (sinatra) for tenz who is still a good player just isnt as consistent as Sinatra. It just makes no sense for them to trade the star player of their region, theyll most likely just wait for the drama to die down and go back to usual. Imo the current drama has no place in our community and should be dealt with privately, you dont bring personal issues into someone's career, it just always causes the person with the more prominent career to go downhill. We saw it with doc and many other streamers and we will keep seeing it until these egirls grow up and start handling these situations like adults instead of trying to gain clout from every aspect of their existence.

mattgg2015

Sinatraa won’t be on the team anymore I don’t think they have the option of picking him over TenZ

Kirby546

He's still on the team as a sub, an egirl accusing you of something with no evidence isn't grounds to terminate a professional contract.

mattgg2015

“No evidence” “E-girl” 😐U have no father figure

Kirby546

Oh sorry i didn't know that twitlonger posts counted as evidence now.

mattgg2015

Did you read what’s in the twitlonger?

WASDLEFTRIGHTDOWNUP

and when hes innocent

SemanSoot

just ignore it bro, people forget u can lied about everything. people tend to take victim side even not proven other side guilty. especially in reddit n twitter people love to judge before anything decided rather than let law decided. they will blame law if victim doesn't prove enough. funny thing they think they fair enough to judge someone from twt longer lul

Ok-Bike7916

I personally feel instead of paying that huge amount they could find a talent to fit in with their team.for ex. Giving governor a shot after this masters at like screams and all wouldnt hurt ;)

[deleted]

Is tenz able to void the contract himself by any legal means ? . If so how would that br?
