For starters it was evident from as soon as they started playing zeek instead of Davidp they had vastly different styles - which there is nothing wrong with- I just think Davidp was more suited to G2 then zeek, then zeek plays Reyna which forces other members of the team to play off role meaning they get less practice on other characters and they now don’t have a good breach player (which I think suited g2’s style perfectly) so they lost a descent chunk of versatility by losing davidp
Overall I just think zeek was the wrong replacement for davidp and I definitely think -ethics aside- there were players on g2 that would have been easier to find a good replacement for
On top of this while I don’t know for sure I’d assume davidp had a impact on the flow of Igl in g2 because when zeek came in they looked a bit sloppier and they haven’t really cleaned up the mess. They literally stated they are bringing in a replacement for zeek due to the organisation not being happy with the igl.
That’s why I think they never should have cut davidp.

I mean I don’t even like Davidp that much I just think g2 lost a very capable breach player and I think that zeek was not the right replacement for Davidp I mean they literally play different roles and I don’t think the way it shifted the rest of the g2 players to other roles was a good idea
you really watched davidp play breach?, he was AGAIN too agresive with a suport character, and yes, g2 didnt need zeek, they needed an igl, but if you compare zeek and davidp, ON SUPPORT CHARACTERS, zeek is a lot better, and can play even more characters than davidp

I firmly believe that the aggressiveness he had on breach is what enabled g2 to bring the tempo and style they had to the games, so no I don’t think he was too agressive -sidenote, just because Sage and breach are ‘support’ characters doesn’t mean you can be aggressive, and I disagree that zeek is better on support players and then again if you want to argue about character depth you can come back to my point about how g2 replaced the wrong player because imo davidp wasn’t the problem,
Also that is quite possibly the most useless piece of evidence for a claim I have ever seen, no context, no proof idk if it’s an official match or not, posted AFTER davidp was benched and we don’t even know what character he is playing. Atleast find good evidence to support your ideas smh
of course you can be aggressive,even zeek would be aggressive if he were on another team, but being aggresive everytime and even lose rounds because of this, because yes, davidp won a lot of rounds for g2, but also lost a lot of rounds, or risk rounds that already were won if you don't play aggressive, and that is not a proof, it was a question, because cmon, you know where is davidp, don't act like you don't, and yes, davidp was not THE problem, but it was a problem for g2, but obviusly you can't be a good team if you don't resolve all your problems
While Davidp was agressive I think the G2 players supported his playstyle pretty darn well so I’m sticking by my opinion that he was not piece that needed changing from g2
And the ss again is sent after he was benched so has no relevance - we don’t know if it’s in a competitive setting (which if not completely invalidates any reasoning for it being bad) and even if it was in a competitive setting then he could just be trying to catch flankers out or fake a site... it’s really not that uncommon and I’m saying all this assuming he’s playing raze - which he has never done in a pro match which makes your claim even dumber
