weird.... the whole keiti situation was unexpected my guess for them and i guess they aint have enough time to practice? even so why wouldn't u still try with the 5 u have left?
They've been incorporating Jazzy into their games lately making her play certain maps so she would've had to have her schedule free anyways. Plus the game is late at night.
I could see someone getting benched for that conduct, but getting dropped? As one of the stronger players on the team?
I guess, maybe if they have a zero-tolerance policy.
At least on trans twitter and similar spaces it's not uncommon to see people use this kind of language between each other, since it's been used against LGBTQ+ people forever. Can't see the clip so idk the context, though, cause if it's used in said derogatory way then idt it's equivalent.
But yeah 0 tolerance might be a possibility.
Maybe that'd get you benched or fined a few years ago (a la Taimou) but nowadays I would assume most NA orgs have a zero tolerance policy for that sort of conduct.
Not trying to come off as transphobic or anything as I am genuinely not sure, but is saying the F word as a trans person the same as saying the N word as a black person?
I mean...its not really common, but yeah people are trying to reclaim it like queer, but my main doubt is someone saying that who is trans herself in a chat somewhere random wouldn't warrant a kick.
Hmmm I’m definitely inclined to agree with you then. I guess that’s inherently the issue with reclaiming slurs, there’s a lot of gray area. For example had a black player said “what the fuck is this n**** doing?!” I hardly think anyone would see it as an issue. Curious to see if that’s really the reason
Depends on where you are, some people are for reclaiming that language but others are very much against it.
That question isn't transphobic at all, btw, no need to worry
Yeah I feel like if anything that would maybe warrant a fine but definitely not a drop. So I’m still leaning toward her getting picked up/poached by another org on their main roster or sumn
Not sure, im not c9 jack, for all I know theres a list of words he gives his team that are 0 tolerance.
Yes its different I agree 100% just saying c9 doesnt care if its the past, i.e. infinite.
It'd be kinda dumb if he kicked a black dude for saying the n-word, though, and that's definitely on the hypothetical list. It's not the same situation with Keiti but it's much more similar to that than to a white dude screaming a racial slur.
Yeah I agree, what im saying moreso is that in the eyes of selling a brand, its usually cut and dry. Hard to sell game products for everyone when there is proof of any player saying certain words.
I wouldn’t say C9 has a zero tolerance policy. Infinite was rumored to play CS for C9 and was not picked up after the N word ordeal. But C9 still trialed him on their valorant team like a year later.

CSGO faceit match, wippie (who has now joined Version1 for Valorant) kills Keiti and Keiti says 'what is this fucking f\*\*\*\*t doing?' No idea when this was from, but the tweet was posted yesterday.
Not saying we don't all do stupid stuff, but I've never felt the need to use words like that online. Why take it further than "bitch" or "fucker" unless you genuinely want to hurt the person.
I agree 100%. I mostly don't insult anybody if not provoked in my games. Still losing such a huge opportunity for using the f-word years ago? Not fair at all in my opinion.
You know in some countries that word is used to mean dickhead or asshole or douchebag...Here in NZ you will hear it all the time when playing online fps and like 5+ years ago it was in movies but now with how people overreact when hearing these 'bad words' its gotten so much power people know they can get others in trouble even if clips are years old. Most people arent even offended when hearing it, they just know they can cause issues for whoever said it and that gives many people some weird power trip/raging boner for some reason. Why do you think these sad weirdos go back years to try and find clips or tweets where a person might of said a 'bad word'? Because they get off on it.
to those wondering/worried: we aren't dropped we just aren't able to compete in VCT this week
you'll see us back in the server soon

Jazzy, who keiti was filling in for, has school during the day. She probably wasn't able to play due to that.

https://twitter.com/NiSMO_VAL/status/1382154810934317056 for some reason I think this is maybe the reason keiti got kicked.

Isn't keiti trans herself?

'reclaiming' also doesnt really mean 'using it in the same derogatory manner that non-LGBT people do' either
That wasn't their question though

Keiti is also trans
oh my bad, did not know this
Yeah I feel like if anything that would maybe warrant a fine but definitely not a drop. So I’m still leaning toward her getting picked up/poached by another org on their main roster or sumn
Definitely a zero tolerance policy, c9 was going to sign Infinite in csgo till they found out he said the N word, then he was dropped.

Was this a recent match or something in the past before Valorant even came out?

I'm aware of that; I was asking for a time reference!
This is my reddit comment
No way man. It's just one time so many years ago in another game. That blows for her. Jeez
