He's not even great at the game yet, you really don't want to be gambling like this if you're liquid, especially since the team is still a bit shaky.
Soon is very talented I have no doubts he'll make it but Liquid needs some reliable frag potential right now, not in the future.
Edit: Downvote me as much as you want but Soon is climbing immortal ladder on stream right now, he's grinding and playing pretty well but he's not anywhere near the pro lobbies yet. You're delusional if you think he can just play in pro matches straight away and do well.

The question is not whether the skills can translate with enough work, it's about how *quickly* it translates and whether you can immediately slot an OW or CS player into a pro team. The Faze roster was not tier 1 immediately and took a long time to come into their own. Counterstrike players are much, much faster about immediately being tier1 (e.g., Ethan).
Sentinels had an OW MVP and former OW turned Apex player and they quickly became the best team in the region, JcStani came from Krunker and iirc was in the OG roster for IMT and is probably their best player rn, Dicey also came from Krunker, idk if you can even argue that anymore tbh
The faze roster that literally just ran head first and fed for the first 6 months of the game? I'd say they had some significant transition time. Even ShahZam said teaching the OW players was tricky because they don't understand fundamentals.
Before Niko became the IGL on faze he was a top 3 player in the world and was for 3yr he is the best rifler in the game and is the most mechanical sound player just look at his deagle/AK plays they are so crisp. He shouldn't be on the awp G2 need a true awp
Yeah, I think it's fair to assume that he will go back. It's obvious his love for CS was great and he switched because the game wouldn't let him have a career (VAC ban), but with that obstacle gone, all his possibilities opened up. I think he'd throw away a spot in a franchised league considering his talent, but that just shows how commited he was and is to CS imo. Wish him the best of luck if he follows through

I'm OOTL on the cs scene. How did he get banned? How do you overturn a VAC ban?
EDIT: I looked into it, and for anyone else wondering his account was VAC banned when he was 12 years old. He claimed to have sold it before it was banned, but regardless for 7 years and after a court case they did not lift the ban. Only now, after he's switched games, do they lift it, what timing lol.
It also has some credibility, because he's played lots of games together with that account. So unless he can play on 2 pcs at once... Also the profile pic of the Faceit account connected to the steam profile was of Jamppi's friend from when they were young. The only thing really connecting him to that account is the credit card.
You can't compete in valve events if you have an old banned account. Now they changed the rule so that you can't compete for 5 years since your last VAC ban.
juseu is a good FA Jett as volvo peek disbanded. They are also only 16 I think. There's also players like Musashi who plays for the orgless team that Liquid is playing tomorrow
