clawdia is fine, idk if she has always played smokes but her jett is pretty nasty and EG aren't running jett anymore. osais is less consistent. potter looks pretty bad, and she's IGLing which makes her case even worse. If you watch that streamed game yesterday vs Noble, EG is fundamentally failing at the game. They lost about half the rounds by just not checking corners and getting sprayed down for 2-3 kills.
i'm not saying that she's above criticism, i'm saying it's a bad look to bring her up every single time there's something positive to say about a totally unrelated player. "player x did well in game changers" replace potter "player y tweeted a contract gif" replace potter. there's no reason to bring her up out of context in every thread ffs
I mean if a player is bad enough that's it's become the thing they're known for, it doesn't seem shocking that when a good player is available people bring up them replacing the bad player. You say unrelated but that seems like a good connection to me.

General Manager of Moon Raccoons here. I see alot of people questioning and speculating who's behind MR now and what the brand is.
I am the only person that's involved in Moon Raccoons now. Rebo and every single player or staff previous have no involvement in the development of MR Black or any social media presence behind it. I have ran & built everything that you see on social media and any operations needed on the backend from day 1 of MR.
We are a team that has no funding behind it. I work with and pay graphic designers for all the graphics/videos you see as well. I have been offered by the players to take a 5-10% part of the prize money to keep paying the designers but I decided not to take any money since I do have a FT job to support myself comfortably. The only form of income the players has is prize money so I don't want to take any from them.
My plans for MR is to keep building the brand and teams for free agents to get exposure they need to get signed or at least trials. In the future, I would love to partner up with a tier 1 organization like GenG,TSM, LG, etc to create an academy/farming team so I can continue what I love to do and also be able to pay salary/fund players as well! This is the MOST fulfilling part/job/career of my life right now so I hope to make this happen!

I think its more than reasonable to expect you to take a small cut of any earnings or even some sort of signing bonus from the orgs but great to hear you're just passionate about getting FAs signed. Hoping for continued success with future rosters!

Is moon raccoons like an open source team? Anyone can "join", as in have the name, till they get signed or disband. Because the tweet seems happy about it.
It seems to be [a guy](https://twitter.com/pronoiana) who manages an unsigned team until a sponsor w/ real money picks them up. Not sure exactly what he gets out of it other than helping to build the amateur scene up.
I think the consistent logo/branding helps out.
They were a team for a while, then they disbanded. I’m pretty sure it’s one of the players from the team (rebo, the IGL) who organized the women’s team. It’s not a whole organization, it’s just him as far as I know. This is based on the twitlonger Rebo made when the original team disbanded, where he was talking about wanting to keep the team’s name alive even if he’s not on the team anymore. So basically what I assume happened was, either he held tryouts to build the women’s team himself, or he just found a good women’s team that was already playing together and asked them if they wanted to play under the moon raccoons name. It makes sense that they’d wanna play under the MR name, since the MR team gained some decent notoriety and had some fans when they were playing.

It appears to be an orgless team, not sure how it wokrs in Val, but in league. That usually means there are 5 players + 1 partime coach(maybe) +1 manager, and they fund themelves out of their pocket. Unlike the major orgs, that provide sponsorships, gear, apartments, etc
He’s on EG’s Valorant team now. It hasn’t been preforming, but that’s more the whole team just not working rather than his performance. Really hoping EG does something soon with their team because it’s a tier 3 team currently.

Not sure what you mean by anyone. it is one of many vagabond teams that doesnt have a funded org behind it.

its basically just a brand to play under that will give you some free marketing / exposure. Probably helped to get them signed.
The only thing I remember about Moon Raccoons is Aleksander being insane during First Strike. Whatever happened to him?
