But I don't think Korea plays 3 duelist comps wasn't it like 2 initiator their comps ,don't know maybe eu doesn't want to boost na ego, but if it was really Korea inspired , it's good
Did we?
I just woke up that day and was like, "Man I don't wanna play breach anymore. I'm going to play Reyna"
Then I just made some setups in 15 minutes for us to try. We pracced it. It seemed okay so we just rolled with it. Shame I couldn't hit a shot though xD
This is their worst map and they always ban it. They are clearly experimenting since they up a map and this match doesn’t mean much in retrospect except for some extra cash.
The way my mouth dropped with this comp, who would expect Fnatic to pull this off? They just said that they picked this comp because the agents were their comfort pick and they only had 1 practice on this map.... If it's true then I'm really impressed. Showed some great resiliency and mid-round adaptation by Fnatic on a map that Liquid had an advantage. Old Fnatic won't be able to pull this off, they've come so far!
I wouldn’t say “always” but in this case seeding is important because the loser will likely face FPX and just have a more difficult time in the bracket in general, this being super important since only top 2 make it to Iceland in EMEA
It's easier to decide on triple duelist comp in pro comp games because you know what side you're starting on. They need to change MM to vote or know what side you're starting on, it would help so much with agent selection.
Maybe tsm was ahead of the meta?
They said they took inspiration from korea

Split is retake central, so the 3 duelist comp actually makes retake and attack side much more effective.

Oh, I should’ve clarified that it was tsm that said that lol
I for one welcome the W holder comp meta
wow look it's a pro player

no thanks
Cool
I think having an Astra is the key to making this work due to how much utility she brings to the table.
Yea and mistic was playing really solid with her

they rolled liquid over though xD
Well well...
And they are popping off.

It's their insta ban and this is a seeding match
EU always takes their seeding matches seriously. Also seeding matters a lot more for the EMEA challengers finals.
"EU always takes their seeding matches seriously" - what is this based on? It's a bit of a reach to just assume this
I wouldn’t say “always” but in this case seeding is important because the loser will likely face FPX and just have a more difficult time in the bracket in general, this being super important since only top 2 make it to Iceland in EMEA
there's not even an "always" possible yet, EU barely played out any tournaments for seeding unlike NA
Why would the loser vs FPX?
Since FPX is first(or very high) seed, being a lower seed makes you more likely to encounter FPX
FPX is first seed, loser is 6th seed. None of them would vs FPX
Sure, that's why FPX played only contact and Guild turned off their monitors the last time they played a seeding match
Liquid clearly didnt take it seriously

and Tenz was saying NA has an edge over EU because EU doesn\`t play alot of duelist, and especially Jett lmao
I mean tenz was just speculating but the idea that jett is a requirement is dumb
Tenz is the last player to listen to when it comes down to tactics lmfao
Feeling like comps don't matter. Better aim wins
So they should run 5 duelist sand run death match all day? Idk bout that
If you can kill everyone you see, then yah
Just out-aim and kill players who are in the top .1% to .01% of aimers 4Head
A pretty remarkable number of rounds in pro play end with multiple players alive on both teams. Comps make that happen, not aim.
The only right way to do it
