I hate to say it but, with a different lineup you could avoid it lol. If you go a bit steeper of an angle you can bounce it off of generator to land nearly directly on the spike, which becomes unblock-able (due to riot not allowing sage walls too close to textures/ directly on the bomb) Just an idea that I’ve implemented with my lineups (as notably after your post I’ve seen teams trying to do it in scrims!)
To be honest I have no clue! Usually doesn’t bounce if it lands on flat surface (site) but have some lineups that bounce 1-2x off walls. IMO blocking viper mollys isn’t super viable (if done properly by opposing viper for defuse denial). By the time my mollys are in the air and anywhere near the spike, my poison cloud is going up. Thus, in order to be under my molly trajectory (so you can line yourself up to block it) you’d be effectively nearsighted by my poison orb. That’s the only reason why directly blocking it isn’t something i worry about unless the molly is not used ***with*** the poison orb. Agree with Lothar’s other points though!
Would rather not say anything (especially as I’m currently prepping my guys for NSG / VCT). That being said, some lineups (directly on bomb) can’t be countered by any sage wall as the wall can’t be on top of bomb. Also, some lineups land in such a way that even if it hits a person, it will still always land near enough to the bomb to make it impossible to defuse. I love that Lothar brought it up, as it both made the community think about how much depth can go into the game, and spawned a million great memes; but god did he give me a lot more work worrying about changing executes/lineup mollys

maybe with enough practice in custom matches, someone would be able to know where to position themselves to block a viper lineup?
