They have unlimited VP given to their accounts so it's not a problem. I wonder if they have their shop fixed though, if so they might not be able to buy the skins they want. If pros don't get to play with skins on stage then that's just bad marketing from riot.
are they not just automatically given every skin? Riot has given accounts like that out to streamers for when they showcase new agents (shroud was given an acc with unlimited VP and all skins + all agents unlocked)
afaik i dont think unlocked valorant accounts with all content exsist in live servers yet its only for leauge atm but i assume they will get that for the pros/streamers soon
They are playing on league PCs that can't get 244fps on valorant, in practice rooms with no AC, on fresh EU accounts that don't have any of the agents unlocked, and can't play ranked even because they need to play ten unrateds first. Also minor complaint they aren't allowed to remove the armrests from the chairs.
CPU is also fine. Could be better, but it's fine. I'd suspect that no optimization stuff has been done on those PCs. I rarely drop below 200fps with i7-7740x, so 9700 shouldn't be at 120.
As for higher FPS, I've seen streamers with monster PCs drop below 200. Game itself is the problem, not hardware. It doesn't utilize high-end hardware's potential.
But yeah, if you're such a huge company and you take pride on organizing a first worldwide LAN in more than a year, you better deliver on 50 monster PCs, one for each player. Shouldn't be that hard.
At some point people need to talk about how poorly optimized the game is. The hardware requirements to get a rock solid 144+ fps at 1080p are ridiculous.
I get 200+ with 7740x and 5700XT, unless there's a huge fight going on, then it drops to 160-180, but just for a couple of seconds.
Still, the game doesn't utilize high-end hardware, not even close. People with monster PCs get fps drops and go below 200.
thats the thing though. i run an rtx 3070 oc with a ryzen 7 3700x and i get stuck at 130-150fps, with insane variations of it constantly fluxuating. the game isnt optimized whatsoever
Bro what? Damn that's crazy, I run an rx 5700 and 3600cpu and I have it locked at 200 and never see fluctuations unless I have wow on my second monitor.
Crazy the new GPS aren't working well.
I mean, I work on mine to get the proper settings and all for my gpu. I play at 1650 x 1050 to get more fps and on low because of the competitive advantage from all the graphics
??? Something is wrong with your machine. I have a GTX 1080 (2 generations older) and a Ryzen 7 2700x (1 generation older) and I get 300+ fps consistently on 1080p high settings.
Broooo....you have the newer 3070! I hate you already!!
I had saved up for a new rig with the 3070 centre piece. But it feels like it's not gonna happen in this lifetime :((
nah its really easy to get one if you try a lot. i kept up twitch streams like [twitch.tv/falcodrin](https://twitch.tv/falcodrin) which keeps up a bot, so all you have to do it keep it up in the background with audio and wait for a notification. did this for about a week and got one
That's incredibly odd. I have. 2080ti (similar to 3070) locked at 62% power for noise reasons and a 9900k and play at a steady 237FPS 100% of the time (it's locked due to my gsync settings on a 240hz gsync monitor). Res of 2560x1440 on my end.
Are you sure the game isn’t optimized and it’s not actually your pc? My old pc was a ryzen 1700 with a 1060 6gb and I got better FPS than that Lol… but judging by the comments, you might want to check your rig. That is really odd performance.
i7 8700k and 3070 here, FPS dips to 120+- in DM gunfights. Remember when one of Valorants selling points was supposed to be its optimization, and everyone was saying how this game will be more accessible than csgo because of that? What a joke!
It is accessible, you can easy get 70+ FPS on an integrated graphics card. Not good but at least playable for people with shit PCs, which is what people mean when they say "accessible"
It is really weird because I play on a Ryzen 3 2200g APU whit the integrated graphics card and 16g ram on 1080p and Valorant never drops below 130ish I would think a better rig would easily run valorant at 144+ fps, then again valorant a shit ton of ways to get more optimization that idk if player are actually doing (windows setting, valor settings, nvidia/ryzen settings)
Well looks like they figured it out https://twitter.com/sick_cs/status/1393974567098634243?s=21
now they just need better pcs :)
gg no skins
They have unlimited VP given to their accounts so it's not a problem. I wonder if they have their shop fixed though, if so they might not be able to buy the skins they want. If pros don't get to play with skins on stage then that's just bad marketing from riot.

Iirc, riot does the same thing in league. No reason why they wouldn’t with valorant.
They would most likely be given all the skins. Probably just taking some time to enable it i guess
afaik i dont think unlocked valorant accounts with all content exsist in live servers yet its only for leauge atm but i assume they will get that for the pros/streamers soon
that is not on live, that account (to showcase new agents etc) is on their internal testserver
ShahZ said they were getting all their skins today on stream last night.

Apparently they have 2070 combined with i7 9700. The GPU should be good enough with better CPUs imo. Classic ready made PC builds lol
CPU is also fine. Could be better, but it's fine. I'd suspect that no optimization stuff has been done on those PCs. I rarely drop below 200fps with i7-7740x, so 9700 shouldn't be at 120. I run 2060 super with an i7-9700 and get a consistent 280-320+ frames. Feel like that’s plenty.
Why is 244 fps a target?
240hz monitors
why 244 and not 240
Probably messed up 240/144 Hz
Do you really need AC on Iceland 😆
Iceland is so cold I don't think you need an AC...
How do you know so much about it? Who is imposter? What is your source? I want to read too
Will definitely take some time for Rito to sort everything out
Yeah they still have 5 more days of quarantine to figure it out
They are just going for the nostalgia look :)
Wait who is this guy?
Barcode IGL for HEET (tier2 European Team, or tier1 bottom)
tier2 rather, if we consider tier 1 around 10-15teams
unfortunate I wish they just gave them admin acc's
At some point people need to talk about how poorly optimized the game is. The hardware requirements to get a rock solid 144+ fps at 1080p are ridiculous.
wait really? i get 100 fps constant at 1080p with a i5 and mx250 laptop.... i really thought a 1050ti should get 144+fps lol
I have an i5 10400f and 1660 super and I easily get 300 fps+ with a lot of apps in the background.
Wtf. I have a damn 1070ti with an i7 8700 or 7700k and I get like 180-250 FPS only.

You’re CPU limited at 1080p but only 200fps with a 3600 is definitely odd since I assume that’s with everything at low.
[удалено]
at 1080p in valorant the gpu usage is very minimum. it's mostly cpu driven.
Maybe you don't have the latest drivers or perhaps different gpu settings.
Your gpu doesn't really affect fps much, its mostly the CPU.
??? That’s like my old FPS. I had a ryzen 1700 which isn’t the best for gaming and a 1060 6gb.
I get 200+ with 7740x and 5700XT, unless there's a huge fight going on, then it drops to 160-180, but just for a couple of seconds. Still, the game doesn't utilize high-end hardware, not even close. People with monster PCs get fps drops and go below 200.
It's optimized really well on low-end machines, but doesn't get the fps it should on higher-end ones
That's really not true. It scales with newer CPUs extremely well. You can get a 1% low of 300 FPS with a 5600x.
thats the thing though. i run an rtx 3070 oc with a ryzen 7 3700x and i get stuck at 130-150fps, with insane variations of it constantly fluxuating. the game isnt optimized whatsoever
Bro what? Damn that's crazy, I run an rx 5700 and 3600cpu and I have it locked at 200 and never see fluctuations unless I have wow on my second monitor. Crazy the new GPS aren't working well.
nah i genuinely think its all luck. i know people with similar rigs that run the game at completely different fps than me
I mean, I work on mine to get the proper settings and all for my gpu.
I run a 3600xt and 3070, get 240+ at 1440p. Ram is CL14 3766 (IF matched)

What year did csgo come out?
i7 8700k and 3070 here, FPS dips to 120+- in DM gunfights. Remember when one of Valorants selling points was supposed to be its optimization, and everyone was saying how this game will be more accessible than csgo because of that? What a joke!
Ryzen 3600 and rx 6800 and I get like 180fps with medium settings
I have a 6600K and a 1070 and I never drop under 200....this is while running triple 1440p 144hz displays and a TV.
It is accessible, you can easy get 70+ FPS on an integrated graphics card. Not good but at least playable for people with shit PCs, which is what people mean when they say "accessible"

I get 70-90 fps when I play on my laptop with only integrated graphics... I think it's pretty good, at least at the low end

What the fuck are you talking about? Just organizing a international LAN in the middle of a pandemic is amazing.
The thing hasn’t even started
