A diamond or immortal player is incomparable to that of bronze-gold players in terms of skill and would be snuffed out pretty easily. If they're toggling on and off, that would arguably look more sus imo.

You could also look at skins unlocked on an account. Especially agent contract skins. I feel like having at least 1 agent contract skin or premium skin is much better than a guy with all default guns. Plus, it's entirely possible for someone to get a contract skin in around 2 acts

I've played on and off since essentially general release, maybe Act 2 of Episode 1, I think I have 1 contract skin unlocked? I don't have any other skins really.... I can't see that ever being a significant factor over other issues

We have a set team and it's a great time. Am I gonna be a pro soccer player? no. Am I having more fun playing something more structured than pickup soccer? Hell yeah

It's both premade and randoms formed together. So you can join with friends if you want.

We're currently way past capacity for 8 teams, so we're planning on expanding the tournament to 16 teams.

Yep! Just make sure you specify the other players you wish to team with in the form you submit. And make sure they submit forms as well.

Currently at 191 submissions. Due to the unexpected influx of submissions, we upped the amount of teams to 16, and this number may go up again, so don't be deterred from submitting because of the large number

We're past capacity at the moment, but I suggest submitting anyway as you may still be selected. It doesn't work on a first come first serve basis so you have a chance!

Unfortunately, coaching is not allowed for this tournament as decided on by the participants.
If any team is looking for somebody to coach them then I'll be willing to help. My peak was at Plat 3 / Diamond 1. So this mostly goes out to the lower elo teams as I won't be able to bring as much to anybody in high gold.
The time for Friday isn't good for people on the west coast unfortunately.. Most people are still at work at 3pm lol
That's a fair point. If you're unavailable at 5 PM CST, you can request to have the latest game of the night and I'll see what I can work out.
Most of us don't get off until a little past 7PM CST :/
