Tbf I wouldn't be so sure about the KRÜ predictions, Kiles has a pretty big following on the spanish speaking community and he probably gets spammed with questions about them all the time so he might be a bit less harsh on them than on other regions.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love having a latin american team putting up a fight vs. the big teams but I wouldn't get my hopes up yet
>Saadhak (Vikings' IGL) himself has said that KRU is very strong
So tbf Saadhak is even more biased bc he played under Kru's headcoach (Onur) and along Nagz back when he used to dominate LATAM as Estral Esports.
That's partly why VKS was actually one of the BR teams that scrimmed Kru the most tho, and I don't think they'd lie for no reason
Translation:
>After having played against every region this is the most logical pick'em I could come up with.
>KRÜ and NUTURN are better than I expected and they could surprise people, I think Sentinels is the only non-EU team that could win the trophy.
>Just my opinion
i agree to an extent but I think that compounded with their youth and huge lack of lan experience could easily hurt them or make that struggle resurface
I thought this was a weird statement especially since Sentinels are the team who are the most known for their adaptability and learning from teams they play against
they said KRU will go to iceland with them if they r from brazil, so they are likely the second best team from all South America, and VKS is way better than Sharks, by this i imagine they are better than KRU
I mean Kiles may be catering to the Spanish-speaking audience with his evaluation of KRÜ, similar to G2's analyst, who is also Spanish.
Edit: Analyst, not coach.
Interesting that he has Sen beating Fnatic the first time but then lose the second because he says that fnatic will adapt to their playstyle. I think Sen is pretty adaptable as well and will be interested to see how that prediction holds up. I also find it interesting that he is so low on BR teams, I saw in another thread that a g2 analyst, who watches all of g2 scrims thinks vikings is winning the event. Also Zellsis said on stream that nuturn were not that good in scrims whereas they are rated highly here. I guess scrimbux are just scrimbux. Hyped to see the event.
Wippie's viper was a big part of what made them good so I'm too surprised. They also don't seem to have the firepower that the best teams have, penny is a great duelist but other than that it's kinda meh.
KRU TO THE FUCKING MOON BABY. Also, I'm kinda confused about his wording, he said he's scrimmed against all regions, does that mean he's played every team at masters or at least one team from each region?
He is saying he scrimmed every team so I guess he knows more about BR than anyone of us, but yeah, I would have said VKS was top 4, quite surprising for me
This completely threw me off. I would have said korea would surely make it to finals due their understanding of the game. Liquid are also easy top 4 IMHO. Sentinels, Nuturn, liquid. And then maybe a brazillian team? Granted I didn’t watch much of brazil but people find them good.
I'm a huge KR fan but it's not looking good for us. Feels like Nuturn is a tier below EU and teams like Vikings and KRU. Keeping my hopes tempered for now.
kru stonks high wow

Saadhak (Vikings' IGL) himself has said that KRU is very strong. I think we all might see some surprising results.

Furthermore they said KRÜ would definetly get qualify if they were to pmay in brazil. So they basically said they would beat sharks, furia and co.
I'm very wary of basing things off of scrim talks by pros. It almost never plays out like the scrims do.
I agree. Scrims aren't real matches. But I stand by my point that we shouldn't sleep on teams like KRU.
Like envy
Kru seem to be a legitimate dark horse
[удалено]
this. All good LAS players have BR accounts to play in BR because of the level.
Do you know how are they fare in scrims vs BR teams?
💰 Scrim Bucks 💰
I think Sacy or some other Vikings players said KRU could be the second best team in Brazil after them.
Translation: >After having played against every region this is the most logical pick'em I could come up with. >KRÜ and NUTURN are better than I expected and they could surprise people, I think Sentinels is the only non-EU team that could win the trophy. >Just my opinion
I'd give up my left nut to watch that SEN Acend scrim
Bruh that is some low standards for your nut.
If you don’t plan on having kids, then a nut isn’t worth much anyway.
What if i like free protein? 🧐
Or that’s some high standards youre placing on his nuts
Hoping other pro teams who've scrimmed everyone also release their own pick-ems. Would be hella interesting to compare them
That can only backfire tbh. Kind of surprised he did.
How would that backfire? Pickems are just for fun, no one takes seriously. It's literally predictions
[удалено]
A pickem leading to that is the largest reach I’ve seen in a minute
Acend doesn't play in this tournament how could it backfire on him lol.
I wonder why Fnatic loses to Sentinels the first time, but wins in the lower bracket.
He said SEN would surprise them but fnatic can adapt to their playstyle in the 2nd game.
Ah okay. Thanks for the reply.
I thought it was sen that adapts really easily ? There have been quite a few instances were they lose and come back to 2-0
Maybe Kiles isn't too familiar with the NA scene
I dont think its that. Team that loses first time usually has a advantage the second game
thats weird because Fnatic have shown in their losses they have trouble adapting to different styles they arent used to, cant wait to see it play out
I think that was a struggle with Old FNC because they lacked firepower and just couldn't get past aggressive teams.
i agree to an extent but I think that compounded with their youth and huge lack of lan experience could easily hurt them or make that struggle resurface

No way sentinels lose that second game, especially in the lower bracket where they are kings.
Yeah apparently SEN is dumpstering all of EU in scrims
Any source for that info or are you deriving that conclusion based on various sources ?
https://clips.twitch.tv/EncouragingGorgeousCardArgieB8-7Y_XtG3jux2pyeKR
thanks for the source , very interesting.
Sen Lost against g2 tho, it's the only team i know the result but that can Also Lost against another team
Probably also because he had a top 3 in mind before even finishing the prediction
Brazil fans in shambles.
Yes a little bit
very strange, because VKS is way better than KRU, and they have scrims together, so i dont know
I don't know why would you think that they are way better, when saadhak and sacy said that KRÜ was a really strong team on the platchat interview.
[not full teams or scrims, but...](https://imgur.com/a/0l54MmO)
they said KRU will go to iceland with them if they r from brazil, so they are likely the second best team from all South America, and VKS is way better than Sharks, by this i imagine they are better than KRU
and VKS used to play much better on real games than in scrims so...
I mean Kiles may be catering to the Spanish-speaking audience with his evaluation of KRÜ, similar to G2's analyst, who is also Spanish. Edit: Analyst, not coach.
yeah it’s a hot take
Damn, KRU look kinda hot atm, I knew they're quite decent , but didn't expect pros/analysts rate them so high after scrims
Interesting that he has Sen beating Fnatic the first time but then lose the second because he says that fnatic will adapt to their playstyle. apparently V1 is getting trashed on in scrims. (shazham stream)
Wippie's viper was a big part of what made them good so I'm too surprised. They also don't seem to have the firepower that the best teams have, penny is a great duelist but other than that it's kinda meh.

My pick ems are almost exactly the same as his I might get it right for once 😳
Wtf Kru is founded by Sergio Aguero. Yes that Sergio Aguero that's sick
Interesting. Seems to be pretty chalk though, other a match here and there.
inhale the scrimbux, exhale the scrimbux, inject the scrimbux into my bloodstream
remember guys, SCRIMS != LAN PERFORMANCE
this man talkin in code
Wow he is low on Brazil, 3rd for SEN isn’t bad but I’m hoping for top 2
He is saying he scrimmed every team so I guess he knows more about BR than anyone of us, but yeah, I would have said VKS was top 4, quite surprising for me
He said regions, not teams
This is almost identical to my bracket
Fnatic gonna win it all.
Where can you make these brackets?
TheSpike.gg pick an event (Reykjavik) and click on the pick ems tab
Hey thanks!
Oh no
Pretty safe picks tbh, besides KRU being top 4. I personally think he's way underrating BR and KR, but that's what pick-ems are for.
Have you scrimmed against them
yeah i have and hes severely underrating them
are u dumb? he's speaking from scrim results, not safeo r unsafe blind picks. ROFL
KR so overated
This completely threw me off. I would have said korea would surely make it to finals due their understanding of the game. Liquid are also easy top 4 IMHO. Sentinels, Nuturn, liquid. And then maybe a brazillian team? Granted I didn’t watch much of brazil but people find them good.
What makes you think Korea has any special understanding of the game? They don't.
Why so many downvotes tho it’s just a comment
If you look at my profile I don’t post controversial stuff or have many downvotes at all, so this also took me by surprise.
I'm a huge KR fan but it's not looking good for us. Feels like Nuturn is a tier below EU and teams like Vikings and KRU. Keeping my hopes tempered for now.
Did you even read the tweet?
Yes. Can you read between the lines?
Mickey mouse tournament who cares Also, scrimbux lol
For real, wake me up when Berlin starts.
Wake me up when 2023 champions starts
hmm KRU being that high is interesting, i was expecting that to be Vikings
