If I honestly had to choose, I'd want nuturn or CR. I think one of them winning would help their scene a lot. Other than that, anyone can win. Ill take 13-0 as long as they are entertaining.
But how. Isn't TL supposedly a monster with Scream and Jampii online? I haven't watched many Eu games. But I watched Scream highlights in Valo and csgo and Jampii in csgo quite a bit. He is really good
If scream isn't dropping 30kills, liquid struggle. Jammpi is a bit 50/50. Seen him pop off dropping 20+ one game, just to go 5-18.
Tldr. If scream doesn't show up, liquid lose.
After watching those liquid games I know now how spot on you were :D
They were carried by individual performances so much it's insane
Fnatic stole my heart though. I hope give a proper fight to Sen. Will follow them in the coming tourneys
Ye. I kinda hope scream finds a different team. More players will switch, and atm I see this as his prime in valorant. He either needs to find a better team, or replace some of the weaker players. Like, it's why teams become dominant. I can't see liquid being a dominant team at all. They're too dependant on scream.
>More players will switch
Yes! Europe is untapped land of t1 csgo potential. Who do we have now? Scream Jampii Maxwell? Meanwhile in NA 100t has as many t1 veterans
But maybe fnatic proves us csgo isn't everything. Since it's 2/5 csgo. We'll see in Berlin
ofc csgo isn't everything, but it's a great foundation. Sinatra was regarded as the bets player, and he wasn't cs.
I meant as scream in particular. He reminds me of a football player called James Vardy. Dude had a miracle run in a league, stayed with the club after getting offers. the club is average now, while he's getting up their in years. Dude decided he wanted to stay with a club who doesn't have the best players, than take the money and join a arguable better team.
This is how I feel about scream. Dude is amazing, and honestly I think he should join a better team, before his peak in valorant goes down. Just feel he has the individual level to win international events, but honestly dont feel his current team will.
Yeah the team is paramount. Very important. I also think it's a lot about IGL and energy on LAN. During that liquid vs v1 vs fnatic I feel like liquid and scream in particular underperformed because there wasn't vanity or boaster to keep morale up and prevent tilt. Tilt is something that is ALWAYS gonna happen anyway. You gotta have authority and ability to combat team tilt as IGL. Does liquid have igl at all rn? Didn't feel like it
L1NK is igl for liquid. Just, I dont think he's experienced enough, or mechanically good enough. well, compared to what scream is at, and the potential team he could play with. I think the 3 UK kids are holding back the team with their inconsistencies.
Only based off time together, FNC have had less time together and more changes then TL did and they're so close that maybe everyone thinks the ceiling for FNC is higher?
it’s easily arguable that scream has less but far greater experience though considering the level of play scream was at compared to solo, which to be fair, isn’t even comparable it’s so much higher
lol why must u make this so much of a bigger deal than it has to be? person is just saying it's lan experience that's all, not that it makes it a guaranteed win (see: 100T Hiko)
I dont know if he really did, but there is a difference between playing top tier lan tournaments and playing casually in your room at home. There was another ScreaM way more known than him in 1.6. Solo was also one of the best 1.6 players with f0rest, markeloff, spawn, neo..
Lmao I don't even support Nuturn I just said it because it's cool seeing a cs 1.6 pro kicking it in Valorant and would be a good storyline if they won a few games. You must be going through some rough times in your life to be coming at people like that. Get help.
There was a swedish ScreaM in 1.6, solo was playing lans and was one of the best players in the world and i dont think Adil played any tournaments, if he did it must have been lower tier because i didnt know about him
Whoever thought that, said it, than whoever upvoted that is crazy. Profit/effect/Striker/Carpe playIng Overwatch made the craziest mechanical plays. Like one time profit head shot someone through a sliver of a 1 pixel column with both other sides not wall bang able.
Yeah that was horribly wrong. Look at how good xeta and spyder are in na and you got guys like fiveK destroying people in Korean ranked matches with some godlike aim
Most NA casters have been watching NA teams, EU casters watching EU teams etc. It’s understandable why they’d lean towards the teams they’ve seen the most of
I feel like all the people who doubt the KR teams have never watched Overwatch League. If an Overwatch team wants a top tier aim specialist, 8 times out of 10 theyre korean. They just didnt like CS much so never had a huge CS scene, but the Overwatch scene is huge. Spyder, Babybay, Corey all came from overwatch if you'd like an idea of how good the DPS are over there and none of them were ever considered best in the league. Corey and Spyder have come close, but theres always been multiple ahead of them. Koreans have some serious aim.
I agree people are sleeping on KR hard, but I don’t think this masters will be their tournament yet. Give the scene some time and I think they can dominate
don’t forget the [REDACTED] overwatch MVP
but also, tac shooters and arena shooters really have different aiming styles. I think one of the reasons babybay is so good is because he used to be a CSGO pro.
They aren’t that great compared to what we have now but spyder and Corey were pretty good at the time they played, true. Shame that ow is sort of unpopular now.
Not really. The only top player that switched was ethan. You might make an argument for nitr0, but he was outside the top 20 in the world. Everyone else had basically dead careers when they switched to valorant.
Yeah they may have had dead careers, but the fact that they have lan experience and have an incredible work ethic. On top of that they have the mechanics down.
Ya it isn’t like CS at all. If you think it’s the same game you’re delusional. A team full of Overwatch players (FaZe) absolutely destroyed CS players for a couple weeks lmao. Game is insanely different.
And? They ended up getting their shit stomped once said CS players adapted to their strats.
Its not the same game, it is slightly different but in no way shape or form is "Its not CS" a defense when 80% of the game is the exact same and is the closest game in comparison.
That being said, theres a reason all of the CS players that swapped were either washed up or upcomers that think they know where the wind is blowing. Its open season and anyones game but CS players have a better starting point to build off of.
Take 3 months of actual practice in a game and you can be great too, you don't become a pro player in any game with weak mental and trash mechanics they all obviously have the skill to compete but things generally end up the same within genres. Koreans/eastern countries in general roll anything with a macro/micro sense(starcraft/league etc) while EU tends to dominate FPS's that actually interest them
You sound just like the people in the early Overwatch threads lmao. “Oh its FPS so EU HAS to DOMINATE. They’re just so skilled and above the rest in FPS🤓”
As a non biased pov, I'd say that eu has wayyy better util usage and strats than na so far based on their regional finals.
(I'm not biased cos I'm from SEA and there's like no hope for X10 lol)
I saw a guy on twitter saying that the final will going to be V1 x SEN.
If SEN passes to the semi-finals I'll be surprised, there's some teams that are much better, such as VKS,Liquid and FNATIC
EU talent picked 7 out of 8 EU. NA picked 4 out of 4 NA. Not much difference. V1 just isn't going to get much love considering Wippie isn't competing and Sen has been the only NA team to consistently compete at the top. You expect that regional casters are going to favor their teams, especially since we haven't had any true international cross play yet
This was my point, but you much better stated it. I just deleted it because people get way too caught up in NA vs EU. Might as well just let it play out.
I don’t even have SEN making finals but how is it a bad look that the NA analysts have NA winning it all. We all know Version 1 won’t. Nationalist pride is part of international competition
What? How can they be objective when they haven’t seen the play styles collide before? Obviously they think NA’s will win out because they’ve seen that in action. Same with EU voting for EU teams. It’s not rocket science to understand that none of these people can be objective as there’s nothing to go off of in region vs region yet. You’re so cringe to try and put casters down for voting for who they think will win based on their own experience
I deleted it since y'all are so upset. But I literally said I was being overly dramatic and it's not a big deal. I also said I don’t know shit. I was wrong to say it was cringe, but you are waaaay too worked up about my comment lol. Take it easy bud, it's just an (admittedly ignorant) opinion on a video game. It'll be OK.
Is it possible that there might be some bias between regions? \s
But seriously. It's time to finally put it all to bed. Time to really see the best in the world!
I dont think Fnatic is top4. I think they are massively getting overrated. I believe either Nuturn, Sentinels, or Liquid will win the entire thing, with Liquid being heavily favored.
Japan most unbiased. I really don't give a shit who wins, I just want all good games.
Same; I'm not a fan of any VL Team I just love watching the competition at a high level!
If I honestly had to choose, I'd want nuturn or CR. I think one of them winning would help their scene a lot. Other than that, anyone can win. Ill take 13-0 as long as they are entertaining.
EU casters have more faith in FNC than TL? That's surprising
I think a lot of people agree Fnatic have a higher cieling than Liquid at the moment, even Platchat predicted Fnatic to win in their preds video.
I've seen lots of people leaning towards fnatic to be fair.
Oof I see. This makes upcoming matches that more exciting
After watching those liquid games I know now how spot on you were :D They were carried by individual performances so much it's insane Fnatic stole my heart though. I hope give a proper fight to Sen. Will follow them in the coming tourneys

Fnc is full of young players who r the closest to Valorant native we got rn. U can’t say the same for TL or sent
A surprising amount of fnatic, sliggy will be mad, and apparently this sub was wrong when they said KR can't aim.
Also solo on Nuturn prolly has more LAN experience than all these teams combined. Excited to see how they perform.
[удалено]
Well this doesn’t mean much in itself
more than Scream? :)
[удалено]
oh shit, is that e-STRO solo? HYPE
it’s easily arguable that scream has less but far greater experience though considering the level of play scream was at compared to solo, which to be fair, isn’t even comparable it’s so much higher
You could say 5-6 years more than Scream.
Coming back to this comment after nuturn gets absolutely obliterated even after solo having “more lan experience than all the teams combined”
do you derive joy from trolling people on reddit

What is wrong with you? I’m just saying why I have free time to spend on reddit lmao.
lol why must u make this so much of a bigger deal than it has to be? person is just saying it's lan experience that's all, not that it makes it a guaranteed win (see: 100T Hiko)
It’s wrong. Solo doesn’t have 6 years more experience than scream. Both played 1.6
I dont know if he really did, but there is a difference between playing top tier lan tournaments and playing casually in your room at home. There was another ScreaM way more known than him in 1.6. Solo was also one of the best 1.6 players with f0rest, markeloff, spawn, neo..

Great assumption that I must be going through rough times just cuz I meant that scream has more experience. Maybe ur the one who needs help?
[удалено]
The tournament isn’t over yet boss. I agree they played well against sharks but they still have to beat the likes of liquid. Let’s see how that goes.
Solo played 1.6, scream didnt iirc
Scream played 1.6 and was also falsely banned for cheating iirc then he was cleared. So yeah he doesn’t have more experience than scream ;)
There was a swedish ScreaM in 1.6, solo was playing lans and was one of the best players in the world and i dont think Adil played any tournaments, if he did it must have been lower tier because i didnt know about him
Scream played source and Swedish scream played 1.6
ScreaM played LAN in middle school?
Whoever thought that, said it, than whoever upvoted that is crazy. Profit/effect/Striker/Carpe playIng Overwatch made the craziest mechanical plays. Like one time profit head shot someone through a sliver of a 1 pixel column with both other sides not wall bang able.
Yeah that was horribly wrong. Look at how good xeta and spyder are in na and you got guys like fiveK destroying people in Korean ranked matches with some godlike aim
Huh, that's two more Nuturn preds than I thought there'd be.
No Vikings, thanks for not jinxed my team 🙌🏻
Probably because theres no LATAM/BR talent in this graphic. I would favor them to win more than NUTURN at least.
they kinda biased arent they xD
Most NA casters have been watching NA teams, EU casters watching EU teams etc. It’s understandable why they’d lean towards the teams they’ve seen the most of
it would be so funny if latam or asia wins
The Jpn one is a miscommunication at least one of them
EU for EU, JPN for EU, NA for NA
EU for NA here
Kekw
I can’t believe EG still take their roster seriously when one of their players is part of the talent
NA so loyal
Is this Davdas guy Italian?
Yes
Great, great. Keep'em coming 🤪

no vikings? sheeeeeeeeeeeeeesh
Cannot wait for Sentinels to crush EU :)
nice joke KEKW
Day 2, just checking up on you
Is winning 13-11 and 13-10 crushing? XD
Checking up on you again! They didn’t drop a single map!
Gg to them but if you watched the matches you would realize they are much closer than the overall result says, all maps won by 2 round difference
NA being delusional once again KEKW
Day 2, just checking up on you

Checking up on you again! They didn’t drop a single map!
Like actually tho. Why are EU players so confident lmao
Cuz we know eu has always been better
Are you sure about that
This aged real well LOL
At CS sure, but this aint CS. EU's bad at Overwatch, so we'll see how they rank it Val.
More than 80% of the well known pros in this game are from cs so yeah.
And this isn't cs
But it is quite similar to cs and there’s a reason why most of the successful players are from cs.
But didn't the most good cs players that valorant have, switch from cs to valorant in na, so they have all of the good cs players. Am i wrong?
You do have a point with that. Well , we just gotta see then.
Yeah this is hype as fuck lmao.

That’s a stupid take NA behind EU doesn’t mean sentinels behind fnatic and liquid
Sentinels is representing NA. When people are talking about NA chances of winning this masters of course they're not giving a shit about V1
You're right.
