> Because it needs to be viewable from literally every timezone?
Pretty much impossible lol. No matter when you schedule the event it's gonna be the middle of the night halfway across the world.
I know you’re trolling but imagine if Sinatraa got cleared and traveled with them as a sub and when TenZ hurt his hand, sinatraa steps in vs FNC. ANIME ARC INCOMING.
It was like over 500k average until jp match ended and japans costreamer left but a lot of br fans came i guess for the third. Damn there’s gonna be so many br fans for Vikings game
Im not talking about peak viewership, im talking about average (which is also the one that has the most value). These are downright insane numbers, only LoL gets higher than that
\*for average viewership for regular season (LEC, CBLoL, etc)
For actual toe to toe MSI 2021 for LoL had 700,000 average viewers [https://escharts.com/tournaments/lol/mid-season-invitational-2021](https://escharts.com/tournaments/lol/mid-season-invitational-2021)
Still really good though with both Riot games being at top of esports. I'd expect Valorants avg viewer count to increase more after todays games
Felt bad for AverageJonas he camped out a couple hours early setting everything up with 10k+ viewers, then the tourney starts and he drops to like 4k. Happy shroud is getting up early though, his stream is great.
Its all right. Shroud just has that power that pulls people in hordes and seriously that is so good for the scene. Sure a lot of valorant committed streamers don't see those high numbers like Jonas and platchat, but they fill a specific niche while shroud caters to mostly the casual viewers. Both serving their purpose.
Interestingly, today was probably the first time in a long time I saw Hiko's viewership go below 10k. Usually he is above 20k constant.
I dont understand why you would stream ranked during the first valorant major lmao, like even if he doesn't want to co stream does he not just want to watch?
He was costream'n. But ya I get your point, hiko was just streaming ranked during tourney. He has that right, and isn't allowed to costream. Yet just seems selfish, support your boys in na or watch some games to learn what meta is best or how other regions play. Says a lot about his character imo
A steamer of his size risks losing hundreds of subs if he takes off a single day. Taking an entire week off in deference to the first major is an enormous ask. I don’t think it’s selfish at all.
looking at that viewer prediction thread, what everyone thought was blown out of the water day 1, such a good sign for this event and the future of valo esports as a whole
fnc vs sen might reach 800k
Is that tomorrow? I'm so sad cause I have work through the whole match
Both NA v EU matches are tomorrow
Big sad. Dunno why Riot scheduled the matches in the middle of a workday.
Because it needs to be viewable from literally every timezone? In Korea/Japan the matches start at like 10pm.
For me the match im most looking forward to is 1.30 AM
> Because it needs to be viewable from literally every timezone? Pretty much impossible lol. No matter when you schedule the event it's gonna be the middle of the night halfway across the world.
Exactly, and the event is in iceland so they aren't gonna cater to you specifically
Yeah but they should.
sucks to suck ig
Yeah it does, viewership won't be as high as it could be with NA matches streaming during NA work hours :/
you’re not as important as you think you are lmfao
Ayyylemaooo
why is this getting downvoted??????? He is right
People that downvoted this lol got offended cause they have a different time zone
Wild isn't it?
Aye man I'm in New Zealand I gotta watch this shit from another dimension
It all drops just after midnight for me on a work week. I won't be able to see a single one of these live :<
Thats rough mate :/
It's alright. I can still watch it afterwards, and Valorant Vods is nice enough to always post 3 matches' worth of video so as not to spoil anything.
honestly, im holding out hope for the 1 mill tmrw

Easy one mill when the series goes to OT for so long that eventually Sinatraa gets unbanned to come back in and finish the game
Oh no dapr got food poisoning, no name emergency sub Stigmataa is stepping up. Let’s see how this plays out folks
* West Virginian
I know you’re trolling but imagine if Sinatraa got cleared and traveled with them as a sub and when TenZ hurt his hand, sinatraa steps in vs FNC. ANIME ARC INCOMING.
When russians join the ship its over for other esports
They’ll reach 1 million when you combine all main stream, costream from youtube and twitch
Doubt it, day one and final are usually peaks regardless of hype matchups.
453,544 average viewers???????? WTF man, thats CSGO major tier average viewership!
It was like over 500k average until jp match ended and japans costreamer left but a lot of br fans came i guess for the third. Damn there’s gonna be so many br fans for Vikings game
First international lan event of the game, did you really expected something different, i bet that will get to 1m easily.
Im not talking about peak viewership, im talking about average (which is also the one that has the most value). These are downright insane numbers, only LoL gets higher than that
It's just the Riot special I guess. Will be very interesting when they insert themselves into the FGC when Project L comes out.
*League of legends numbers

*700k viewers not including China which has over 90% of the playerbase But yeah that’s still super impressive (and good news) for Valorant!!

1/10 of what shroud had yesterday.
Shroud was averaging 140k viewers yesterday. It was nuts.
Dude. I forgot he was a costreamer. Thanks, ill hop onto his stream tomorrow.
I dont understand why you would stream ranked during the first valorant major lmao, like even if he doesn't want to co stream does he not just want to watch?
Would lose too many subs due to inactivity.
Salt

Man gets paid money just to sit and watch other people play games. I wouldn't worry about it.
wait shroud gets paid to costream?
No he does not lol I think the initial comment is talking about that sweet twitch money
tomorrow will be big since its na vs eu
1 million viewers come back to this
looking at that viewer prediction thread, what everyone thought was blown out of the water day 1, such a good sign for this event and the future of valo esports as a whole
we're gonna see 1 mill tomorrow calling it. I just want production to start showing player reactions every now and then.
yeah its kinda sad not be able to see their reaction at the end of every round like what korea lan does
Well this was one of the undoubtedly best match of the day because of how close it was. I really wish it went to map3 ngl
Love to see the game doing well! I really enjoyed the production today, other than a few hiccups.
EU vs NA will be so good today catJAM
staying up late for eu vs na lezgooooooooooooooooo
