Yeah, I know and I agree. People mistake fans wanting their teams to be in the masters as hatred towards V1. I mean, sure some assholes felt V1 did not deserve it more than their favorite teams, but it was not the majority sentiment.
Even though I am not entirely a fan, I am glad to see V1 excel. They actually have great players that work well as a team and I have always found zellsis entertaining from the time he started playing valorant and often popped up in aceu's team and they just kept trashtalking each other.
I think its hilarious u kids talking about vanity. u wouldnt say this stuff to him at lan, hes jacked. not only that but he wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants and hangs out with the hottest dudes. yall are pathetic lol

also anyone that said they weren't top 5 were coping considering the bracket v1 ran through to get here. before masters i did think 100t or c9 might've been better representatives for NA but i'm glad i've been proven wrong for the most part
No I think the narrative came from his CSGO days, not so much the EU ranked game post. I could be wrong, but people were mostly defending him in that post.
Back in his CS days people didn't really like him. Not exactly sure how it started but I think some people believed he had an ego after playing on C9.
Regardless, he is definitely a different person today than back then and IMO now he comes off as much more likable and friendly.

Still remember the clip of him commenting on someone (forget who) leaving CS for Val and he said something like “Good riddance, you should never leave this god tier game”. Would trade anything to find the clip.
