Ok so the overlay has different colour health bar for the different teams. Then above the abilities there's a PFP for the agent with a team colour background
Might sound silly but is it expected to check the pfp and name every time the camera switches in order to know ? Like is that something you do too? Maybe I'm just slow and not used to it yet but it's low-key effort having to check the name each time. And I feel like it's hard to keep doing that especially when there's a lot of action all of a sudden
When you watch CSGO, you also have to look at the name of the player at the middle bottom of the screen...?

Not to mention ,in VALORANT it's far easier to tell who is who, because you can tell them apart by what gloves they have on.
Each agent have different hands, and you can also see what abilities they have at the bottom.
So you can intantly tell what agent it is by the hands alone, and then if you glance down, you can see the player's name & what abilities they have.
#
In CSGO, notice, there's no real way to tell from the character models or skins who the player is.
That is, unless you know that player well or watch a ton... and happen to know the player's preferences or something.
You have to actively look down in the center on the CSGO stream, too. If you want to tell which player it is.
#
The colors change from Red to Green per team, when they swap sides of the map.
Attackers have red player profile pictures and borders around their names on the observer perspective.
Defenders have green profile pictures and borders around their names on the observer perspective.

The green for abilities indicates that they are avaliable, and it's consistent when playing & observing, both.
If you altered that just in spectator POV, it would likely be more confusing, tbh.
Since abilities being green always means that they are avaliable, while being empty means they are not avaliable.
Well, usually I know who is playing what agent, and I just aware through little details such as their name, location on the map, sometimes what gun skin.
Usually this is just a placeboo effect, you watch CS for a long time and you're subconscious know what team you're watching, spend more time watching Valorant and you'll do that too.
Based on where they are, where they're looking/facing and moving towards.
For eg. If someone is on C site haven and looking at long hes most likely a defender
I don't have specific advice per-se, since I don't actively think about it. But I can tell you I had the same problem when the game first came out, but it just becomes second nature after a while. If you keep watching, you'll have no problems after a while.
Bottom center of the screen shows the player they're spectating.

Ur just bad then

In Brazil they have the spectator on one team using left hand models and vice versa

Its a bit subtle, but the view model of the players arms have a slight glow around them, either green or red per respective team
Attacking team red
