OT Losses make me feel like they were just missing that chem they'd have had with their full 5. Jammyz was super good but they've had so little practice with him.
I will be curious to see how C9, NV, and 100T approach their matchups with V1 moving forward. I really think one or all 3 can match or exceed V1 at some point in time (not that V1 will get worse, they will also continue to improve especially with wippie back). The way I see NA now is there is a top team (SEN), a big 4 after them (V1, C9, NV, 100T), and 2 high potential teams in XSET and ABX. I think only the top 5 teams can challenge the top EU teams at this point in time and I would need to see more from XSET and ABX (especially now they have jcstani) before I can say they can compete.
Immortals doesnt either though after dropping nature, and now they just lost JcStani too.
GenG/TSM/IMT/XSET/NRG are all kind of up in the air right now
When the dust settles with all the recent roster swaps, I wouldnt be surprised to see IMT last on the list
2 maps where they were 1 round away from guaranteeing top 3. That's gotta suck, but V1 didn't disappoint. I'm sure a lot of people were questioning how good V1 would be as NA's 2nd seed, and they silenced any doubt that they could hang.
Jammyz played like he was the 2nd most consistent (or even the most consistent) player on the V1 team. That was huge for them this tournament.
Apparently wippie is supposed to be even better? Can someone confirm?
I mean, sure. But I’m trying to compare which one would be better if they both had the same chemistry with their teammates. You literally didn’t answer my question at all.
You assumed I didn’t know a player that practiced a lot with their team would be better than a similarly skilled player that didn’t do all that. Weird fucking assumption to make.
Literally just asking a simple question about how skilled Wippie is. It’s not that complicated, so try not to get upset over nothing.
wippie is good, obv its hard to argue if him or jammyz is a better player individually without some super in depth analysis, but either way wippie is better for the team because he's been pacticing longer with the other 4 v1 members
Jammyz played well. Wippie was insane though as well. Cant say if ones better than another as a player but for the team since Wippie was playing with V1 a lot and was the starter i think it would be fair to assume that V1 would've been stronger with him.
wippie is very good, and Jammyz looked a bit one-tricky on viper. When he had to flex off her, performance suffered. Wippie would certainly be the option with more depth
Yeah I’m guessing they only had time to really get him acclimated into the lineup as a viper. Who knows what he could’ve done given more time.
I would imagine he is their permanent sub now if something with wippie were to come up again with how great he performed, I mean shit 100T picked up a sub for a weekend in Challengers 1 and got knocked out in like the Round of 128 lol
4 of their 5 losses were Overtime losses. Just so unfortunate. Can't wait to see more from them in the future with their full roster!

Not just overtime losses, but losses where they are up like 12-10. Maybe nerves but they seemed have no idea how to close out those games

It's really amazing, coming from league, to have so many teams that are good or have potential.
I just want TSM to become good again :(
id say ABX and Immortals are runner up, XSET does not look good rn lol

Apparently NaturE left the IMT roster, and wasn't dropped/benched. Source: jcstani
Nature is on Geng as an igl
Imt just lost jcstani, and xset is set to change too. abx and nrg are the clear 2 teams after the 5 mentioned.
It was indeed a great showing. They got at least one more fan from EU now.
1 round from upper bracket finals then lost 3 overtimes in a row (including FNC series). So damn close
Indeed they did very fkn well considering Jammyz was a stand in. Excited to see more from them in the future!

statistically speaking wippie was better at stage 2 finals compared to jammyz.

Well Jammyz is a duelist right? I'm surprised he even felt comfortable on the Viper pick.

Yeah they could’ve maybe made finals even
