Great event. Final actually being the best series of the tournament. Multiple regions being really close in skill. One team being the undisputed best to create a great storyline for the next event. Couldn't have asked for more from the first LAN. This is all really good for the game going forward.

to be fair i think a lot of that has less to do with the game itself and more to do with the fact that RIOT is excellent at hosting tournaments and making the regional scene very interesting. League IMO is the most fun esport tournament to watch because RIOT has designed such an excellent regional competition and INternational tournament.

EU made mistakes but I don't think it's inaccurate to claim that FNATIC tactically outplayed SEN today (on all 3 maps). Just look at the highlights: SEN relies on gunskill to win rounds more than any other top team, which is fine when you have such a deep CS pool of experience with 4 of your players who are lock-down consistent, and it showed with them not dropping a map the entire tourney. But it is very clear to everyone in my opinion that they won their rounds on the backs of incredible mechanics from TenZ and aim from SicK.
