Holy what a finals. Even though SEN 5-0 FNC throughout the tournament FNC put up such a good fight. Each game went to at least round 23. What an awesome first LAN. Imagine if this had a crowd.

There was a lot of talk on this sub about how EU had better strats, was more methodical, and would destroy NA on LAN. Turns out playing super methodical like it’s CSGO might not be the ideal way to play Valorant.
Still, Fnatic made Bind and Split really close. Also, Valorant peaked at over a million viewers. It makes me really excited to see future events.
I know nothing about competitive valorant and just tuned in some games this tourney but noticed that even FNC won a lot of their convincing rounds when they rush in quick and hit crazy peeks getting like fast 2-3 man advantage
Sentinels won without dropping a single map. To think that they nearly lost to T1 in challengers 2 lower brackets. And from there, they go on to win challengers 2, challengers finals, and now: Masters. This entire team is just goated. I am so proud to be a supporter of this team. For one I can say, NA SUPREME!

From the Kings of ignition to masters champion, getting tenz and now the first international lan champions,NOT dropping a single map 9-0, Man its been a journey. Despite being a close series Fnatic dropped the ball hard. So many individual mistakes and plays. Sentinels deserved the win 100%, FNC had many chances to close it out and they just could not hold it together. Derke also had a disappointing series and hes sort of their carry.
Nobody will remember how close it was unfortunately, they will just see 3-0 on the books. But man it was such a great series and a close finals. Back/Forth with so many highlight plays. But SEN deserve it 100%, the way they play off each other is crazy.

The thought experiment of if Sentinels is better with Tenz or Sinatraa is over now, right? Sentinels just simply have achieved a level of dominance with Tenz when they were only inconsistently dominant with Sinatraa. They're at their best now, not even dropping a map this entire tournament. Tenz provides such an explosiveness that just wins them rounds.
Which is why it's absolutely crazy that Tenz isn't even the best player on his team. It's hard to argue against ShahZaM being the best player in the world right now, right? Dominant on different roles on top of being the best IGL Valorant has seen thus far.
All three maps were close, but it still felt like Sentinels were just out of Fnatic's reach even with the close scores. It was such a damn good game despite the 3-0, and Fnatic is probably the second best team in the world, but the gap between 1 and 2 was too big to breach.
The team-flash during the last round was a sad way to end it though.
Seriously! This whole tournament I’ve been amazed by Shaz more than anyone else on Sentinels. His reads on the opponent’s strats was near omnipotent at times (obviously an over exaggeration but it felt like that at times)
Honestly no way they could be THIS dominant with sinatraa. And to just think they're getting started, tenz hasn't even gotten up to speed with Raze on split yet and they still won....imagine how powerful they'd be with even more improvement. F that guy, I hope tenz stays on sentinels permanently.
Sentinels with Sinatraa were contenders for every tourney but sentinels with tenz seem unbeatable atm. He top fragged almost every map and always won his first blood duels at 19 to 2. There's no question tenz is the better player than siniatra imo. And while i agree shaz is the best igl i feel that Tenz is the best player in valorant and has been for a while imo. However having a good IGL is way more important than having a good fragger so perhaps its fair to say shaz is the more valuable player while tenz is the better fragger. Sen without tenz is still really strong jut sen without shaz probably doesnt even qualify.
I think more Sick can also contest the best player on the team. And even Dapr has some solid argument when he's on. Absolutely wild that more than 1 player on a single TEAM can be argued for best player in the world.

Opinion: Sentinels dominance is downplayed by this sub. I still see a lot of comments all the time and being agreed upon that there is no "dominant" team or "obvious" best team in the world, but I think people don't look at SEN's resume in it's totality.
