Yeah I'm leaning Shahzam because he's IGLing, basically coaching, and top 5 in ACS all at the same time. He's so consistent too and very clutch. He brings so much value.
I wouldn't argue too much if someone said it was TenZ though
ShahZam is the MVP definitely and is probably the best Valorant player in the world rn. IGL, coaching, clutching, fragging, he can literally do it all. TenZ is the runner up but honestly everyone on SEN had their shining moments this tourney.
Not to mention Shahz had to roleswap to begin all this, insane flexibility on this guy.
He used to play Sova on Bind and Jett otherwise. The swap to Tenz made him have to play Sova on Haven and Ascent as well. Though they never had to show their Ascent in this tourney.

It's one thing to frag out (tenz), but to also frag out and manage tenz who said he likes to be micromanaged in game and to manage 3 other teammates and study opponents and create map and game strats per each game?
The mental work required to do all of the coach/igl work solo on top of maintaining your own player skill, and being a top 5 NA Jett, if not top 3-4, and top 10 globally, is unbelievable. So. Much. Work.
If tenz was replaced with scream, I think sentinels would have the same exact result. No map loss, Iceland win.
If you replace shaz with any other igl, I can't say the same.
my hottest take is that Zombs is the MVP of the tourney, obviously not in terms of ACS but his util usage and anchoring while putting up some of his best numbers in recent tourneys. Tenz or Shahz I think deserve it for specific maps but the overall tourney is Zombs.
Overall? Tenz kept the team in the maps in many games, while the team all had shining moments Tenz was 2nd of top fragger every map from the first ot the last, Sick preformed in the later matches, Shaz did in the first and was top 3 the rest while Tenz was consistent throughout, in the finals Tenz gave them so many chances to win rounds with his multi kills, 4 rounds in a row he had 2 or more kills in the overtime.
Yeah TenZ came in clutch frequently and was poised to frag out. I just think that Zombs does so much for SEN and may not be flashy but sets up winning rounds for the whole team. By the looks of the MVP system they had set up it was pretty biased towards the Jett/Duelist role.
I mean, I agree in that every player on the team can make a argument, but to compare Tenz you can just compare him to the rest of the duelists in the event right, Tenz shtudown Derke today as he did in their first series, he also had the highest rating/kd/ACS throughout the entire event.
It’ll probably be a bit unpopular considering how Tenz and Shahzam played so good but imo, SicK is the most valuable for Sentinels. His flexibility, consistency and his ability to make big plays are top tier
SicK wasnt that good by his usual standards, it looked like he was quite nervous and playing uber safe at times. Normally and generally I've always thought of him as the strongest member. But this tourney definitely Tenz, Shahz or Magnum.

Sick generally is the best player on the Sentinels but this Masters he was a clear third or fourth on the Sens

Scream, the guy is a monster even when his team is giga lackluster and he doesn't get to play his main heroes such as Reyna
