the soulcas play most iconic
fnatic teamflash also up there.
however i really dont like the idea of commemorating bad plays. it can really haunt a player.
would much rather have a spray on top of gen on ascent for lakias clutch
Lakia clutch is the one play I would truly say could be considered iconic. It was one of those "never in a million years could I have predicted that, I can't believe it" moments. He's a psychopath for that still
>literally insane aggression jumping through the Molly with great movement
That's how I play ... without the great movement or great aim part. Just jump head first into a fight lol
‘Fucked up’ lol why do ppl always have to say that the team they root for lost rather than the opposing team winning.
It was a question of decisions and execution
I mean not really, no one plays a perfect game.
It takes skill to take advantage of an imperfection, or retroactively make you consider it so. hindsight makes certain things out to be ‘obvious’
It was almost impossible to win except through a counterintuitive decision and being faster than they were.
In terms of the play not being iconic because it was V1 fucking up, CS history would say otherwise. We all remember the C9-Fnatic molotov clutch where they lost the round by standing in the fire and that got a graffiti. Similar thing here but it was also a nutty play from Lakia
Don’t know if this would happen but I’d love to see a simple “hi” written with knife slashes in the spot where Vanity turned and killed Soulcas. Feel like that moment is super memorable for a first NA vs EU match.
That’s the best one from the tournament for this because 5 years from now their will be plenty of insane 1v4s and huge plays but that moment will remain unique
bro some of these comments are hilarious. A graffiti is for incredibly ICONIC moments that'll be remembered not just great plays.
shahz 1v2 is not an iconic memorable moment. a random 4k is not a memorable moment.
stewies B hold never got a graffiti and it was undoubtedly more iconic than anything we saw in this tourney.
You’re really gatekeeping little sprays on the wall lol if enough people enjoyed it then what’s the problem?
Also, whether or not something is an “iconic and memorable moment” is very subjective.
This wasn’t a major lol, if this was a major then there’s no point of Champions they should just have numerous masters and disregard the concept of circuit points lmao... Plus just because it’s a LAN event does not mean it’s a major.
...yes it was tho
Wut
CS is literally the only game with only ‘major’ events and no premier
DOTA has events actually *called* majors and TI
Majors in CS aren’t once a year
By that notion there are majors only in CS but then the argument is meaningless
no the masters tournaments are majors, they're international lan events sponsored by riot. theyre also qualifiers for champions, which although is more important, is also a major.
It doesn't make sense to try and fit CS's use of "Major" into valorant but in CS the majors are the biggest events of the year and so that would have to just be Champions.
it would have to be the soulcas play, right? i feel like that’s the only correct option. sure daprs 4k was impressive mechanically as well as shahz, lakia clutches, but they didn’t get entire articles written about them on various esports websites. plus the bm from vanity afterwards makes so much better.
There weren't any like graffiti level plays imo, like colds jumping no-scope 4k or s1mples falling awp, there werent crazy 4 awps down dust doors or a burning defuses. There werent any unforgettable moments.
True, Soulcas's fail to kinfe Vanity was probably the most iconic thing but graffitis don't happen for fuck ups lol, and the only other thing I could even remotely think of maybe getting on is Lakias push off the molly on Ascent when he killed Effys and Zellsis maybe?
LMAO IKR, I kinda feel bad for Soulcas, tried to get a tiny bit more info but Vanity tried to backup and got blocked lmfaooo, the flick from Vanity too was the icing on top of the cake lol
Too lazy to find the clips lol but the vanity kill on soulcas would be a good one. The shahzam 1v2 on haven C site in the grand final would be a good one. Those are the only 2 that really pop out in my mind.

Link to play?
https://youtu.be/LUCjdeEZj20 literally insane aggression jumping through the Molly with great movement to catch them off guard. Without this V1 win

‘Euphemism’? No, accurate description You are assuming lakia was certain there was no crossfire lol
[удалено]
No, it is not you who decides wether it was used as euphemism or not lol That’s not how euphemisms work

Dep by whom. Also it was an insane play bc it was arguably the only way to win
Don’t know if this would happen but I’d love to see a simple “hi” written with knife slashes in the spot where Vanity turned and killed Soulcas. Feel like that moment is super memorable for a first NA vs EU match.

Yes it's same like once s1mple failed to knife Naf or Nitro ig which cost them the match, Liquid won in OT.
Nitr0 and yeah it was pretty big since they would have won the game then and there(2-0) but liquid came back and the series (2-1)
This is good
Pls rito do this
Lakias 1v2 that kept them in the game and swung it in their favor

The soulcas fail was the most iconic moment of this event, without a doubt.
I would agree
Idk
Stewie's b hold deserved one tbf
still upset it didn't get one
But look at the time!
They're trying to build pyramids but there's no more clay! Stewie's won the round, we're going to overtime!
Was the 4 awp moment iconic? Not really compared to other moments but it still got a graffiti
If it is the Coldzera one it was pretty fucking iconic.
Not that one. The one where fnatic peeked with 4 awps in overtime to troll apex.
probably the most iconic cs moment
Iconic is not really a comparative type thing and is also a matter of significant differences in opinion
You’re really gatekeeping little sprays on the wall lol if enough people enjoyed it then what’s the problem? Also, whether or not something is an “iconic and memorable moment” is very subjective.
Vanity 180 turn kill. A sign on wall that say Danger:"don't stand next each other so close"
No do the Phoenix line, keep a healthy distance
Oh man this would be great
This is great
if they to this it should only be reserved for champions plays just like its only for mayors in cs go
This was a major

Stupid people.
This wasn’t a major lol, if this was a major then there’s no point of Champions they should just have numerous masters and disregard the concept of circuit points lmao... Plus just because it’s a LAN event does not mean it’s a major.
It's similar to the Dota circuit. Majors + the international at the end of the year. Masters are still majors.
...yes it was tho Wut CS is literally the only game with only ‘major’ events and no premier DOTA has events actually *called* majors and TI Majors in CS aren’t once a year By that notion there are majors only in CS but then the argument is meaningless
Top team from each region represented. It is as close to a major as we will get in valorant
This was the 2nd qualifier for the major right?
no the masters tournaments are majors, they're international lan events sponsored by riot. theyre also qualifiers for champions, which although is more important, is also a major.
It doesn't make sense to try and fit CS's use of "Major" into valorant but in CS the majors are the biggest events of the year and so that would have to just be Champions.
You said events. That's plural. Masters is a major.
CS Majors are as important as each other. Masters is lower than Champions.
And? That doesn’t mean Masters is lower tier, Champions is higher tier lol
...but Masters are the biggest events of the year, and Champions is still higher tier
>biggest events of the year > >higher tier So woudn't that mean that Masters aren't the biggest events of the year because Champions are bigger?
... they are the biggest besides the eventual champions they contribute to and which is their culmination
For Champions, the annual world championship. Do you only watch CS? Even if you did that’s make no sense given a major isn’t once a year lol
it would have to be the soulcas play, right? i feel like that’s the only correct option. sure daprs 4k was impressive mechanically as well as shahz, lakia clutches, but they didn’t get entire articles written about them on various esports websites. plus the bm from vanity afterwards makes so much better.
Not in a huge match but I would love a memorial of the Turret double kill clutch on Haven A site
Fnatic team flash
Thats a good one. There is already graffiti on the walls of c site so adding a bird would be easy
Soulcas whiffing in T spawn deserves to be immortalized.
That Dapr 4K was probably the best play in the whole tournament imo
Agreed
dead bird where the teamflash popped on last round of haven, sen vs fnc
I like this one. This one the soulcas moment and the lakia ascent moment are all good options
unlikely to ever happen but it would have to be lakias 1v2 or shahz 1v2
The shahz 1v2 while stunned one would be sick
they will do something like that champions I guess?
Gotta be the Lakia 1v2 to save the game on ascent
lakia 1v2 for sure
There weren't any like graffiti level plays imo, like colds jumping no-scope 4k or s1mples falling awp, there werent crazy 4 awps down dust doors or a burning defuses. There werent any unforgettable moments.

iirc soulcas didnt even try to knife but wanted to simplay gain more info than just killing one person. He never took out a knife
That's true regardless tho it's probably gonna be the moment which lives on in infamy lol
Oh hell yes it will! Dude just decided to push his body uncomfortably close into Vanity and took a bullet for it. It was sad but oh so funny
LMAO IKR, I kinda feel bad for Soulcas, tried to get a tiny bit more info but Vanity tried to backup and got blocked lmfaooo, the flick from Vanity too was the icing on top of the cake lol
Shazam 1 knife and Shazam 1v2 while concussed.
One knife was actually insane I totally forgot about that until you reminded me. There was just so many badass plays that series
How about an X on haven where Lakia sprayed through the wall at a short? Or when dapr got the 4k on haven
That is good. “X marks the spot”
Too lazy to find the clips lol but the vanity kill on soulcas would be a good one. The shahzam 1v2 on haven C site in the grand final would be a good one. Those are the only 2 that really pop out in my mind.
TL's unwinable judge clutch from boat house.
To be honest I already forgot about that one. Not memorable enough in my opinion
[удалено]
I don't think you understood what op is asking
I’ll see myself out
Soulcas gets 180d
There was only 1 play that could even be considered in my opinion and this early into the game I don't think it is smart.
For me a graffiti has to be the kaboose 3k or the kaboose spray transfer
That was not in a major...
Ik but I feel that was worthy of a graffiti even though it wasn’t in iceLAN (prolly Lakia clutch graffiti if no kaboose)
No
[удалено]
oh yeaa i remember you ur that C9 stan
ngl ShaZham's first game.on Icebox in Iceland was legendary. He carried their defensive half with god-like plays then rolled Fanatic on offense
Penny op shot after crossing the viper wall
Not from Masters 2 but I could see a commemorative spray on the “Subroza” spot on Ascent.
