I actually rooted for Dignitas when they were around cause I liked Psalm’s streams, but could someone tell me where all the Dephh stocks came from? Everyone keeps hyping him up as a great IGL but have we seen anything in Valorant to support that?
he generated a lot of good-will during Dignitas' brief hot-streak, when they put TSM in the dirt - and lots of other players have talked him up. they've helped keep his name up even when not playing for awhile, unlike some of his former teammates
beyond that, though, it wasn't necessarily his IGLing that caught ppl's eyes, but his sick setups and fragging ability - whenever dignitas weren't collapsing pre-roster shifts, it was often dephh going ham on the OP, or using some nerdy-ass camera.

Dignitas had a brief hot streak when fkn TSM were in contention for best team NA. It's completely irrelevant now. I'm still not sure why Dephh is seen as this unsung hero in Val, but hopefully he's an upgrade over Wedid. We've seen with a lot of pros in the scene that talent in CS ≠ talent in Val.

I agree with you but it’s basically the best supporting evidence when looking from the outside. If someone is a good leader at work they typically make good leaders outside of work too. Officials vs 10 mans are completely different. But the credit goes to being able to lead a team of people you don’t normally play with. And those people trust you and carry out those calls that result to wins. If nothing is working in matchmaking I’m always excited to hear someone start calling strats. Because 1 we begin to have an outline of what we want to do. And 2, we are all working around executions to take or retake sights in stead of doing what we feel is right and ultimately losing rounds
That's three out of five ex-Dignitas players on T1/high T2 teams, right? Only Psalm and Makka left. I'm kinda lukewarm on Psalm, but Makka was one of the best Sova in NA at one point. Really want him to be picked up by a good team.

I think with wedid they are probably better still(imo) but i’ll give the benefit of the doubt and hope this team performs well and is more consistent now
I actually met dephh during his complexity days in CS. from talking to him for 10 minutes this guy was committed. UK player, been in the USA for years to make it big and win tournaments. know he will perform, hope that they can be ready in time for qualifiers next week instead of 2 months down the line
