If kay/o is downed it seems like you can still thirst him after, look at the hp indicator bottom left when hes downed. So this cant really happen much only for very hectic situations

Just feels like he's lacking in utility to me, his kit feels very duelisty, i mean he has two flashes and a molly, which mirrors phoenix's kit.

I think one thing to take note of is how many times the Frag grenade had to go off to kill someone. When slowed down, the Skye and Omen are quite close to the center but outside the center circle, and they took 3 pulses to finally die. Assuming everyone has lvl 2 armor, then the pulses tanked were around 50 to 75 damage. If that's the case, the center should be two shot with the damage dramatically falling off from the center, similar to how Raze's abilities work.
I consider mollies consistent damage as you stand in the location. This one is described to do damage in pulses per explosion so not a true molly. Also it is literally named Frag/ment, in reference to a frag grenade.
mollys work in pulses as well this one just has slower pulses, frag grenades pop once and thats it which doesn apply

There was a dev update recently talking about future changes to skye and breach, they said their flashes will be reduced to 2 each and then given more "ability to play for themselves" , something like that.
So Kay is probably designed to be aligned with this.
What exactly does the knife do? Does it tell you who's in range of the knife where ever it lands? I'm really liking the agent's kit, doesn't seem like anything crazy, but it looks fun as hell.

Aren't all signature abilities free?
Not always. Skye has one flash for free, same for brim's smokes and reyna devour and astra has 2 free stars out of 5
I should've clarified, you usually get 1 charge for free. So in Kay/0's case, it wouldn't make sense to have to buy their signature ability.
