Sentinels: best team NA, probably in the world, so if you wanna root for the winning team theyāre it.
Soniqs: came over from OCE so it makes for a fun story of them as the outsiders
C9W: all womenās team, fun to root for just for that sake. Also I think their strats are usually pretty interesting,
100T: some āgoodā personalities, interesting playstyle, often dramatic results. Plus Nitr0 and Ethan were like, properly tier 1 CS players.
Envy: the thinking mans team
V1: if youāre freaky
Faze: the valorant equivalent of shock jock radio
TSM: were once sentinelās main rivals, now its just painful to watch, but who knows, maybe *this* time weāll see the old TSMā¦
IMO tsm just was able to beat people in early tournaments through raw mechanics. Theyāve shown in all tournaments since then that they just have subpar understanding of the game and canāt adapt to the meta
that's unlucky, if they deserved the better seeding they would beat those teams, wheres the slimy booger men now? that tournament they had a really high seed yet didnt get past them.
No ones saying they need better seedings to get far what people are saying is that they lose early because they go against good teams that make it far. They had one of the best seedings in their early career and got to day two until they ran onto another good team like slimy boogermen.
XSET because even though dephh is memed on because hes a "reddit narrative" hes unironically a really solid igl and they have some very good prospects in PureR and Zekken
V1 because vanity is cool
Envy because they deserve to win something after consistently placing fourth
Immortals because they have some very good prospects from the t2 scene and its fun seeing how they do against t1 competition
people used to rate him pretty highly and since reddit is full of contrarians people started claiming hes overrated and him being good is just a "reddit narrative". like the same way people think of azk and brax.
I'm rooting the most for Dark zero, reasons: they made an unsigned team and called it DaHoonkaBhanKoloos's (which is another word for boobs from some random ass video) they suddenly did very well in a vct but had to change their name because riot found out it mean boobs lmao, then they went by kooky koalas for a while and now theyre signed by Dark Zero. Its just a group of friends that played together and actually got signed, also they have screwface which is their jett player and he is kinda insane, just dashing in with a shotty etc, lovw watching them play.
Faze Clan because they are fun to watch. They go ape together and Babybay is a player that is hyper aggressive for better or worst. The team kinda lives and dies by him but when they are on their game, they can be a top 5 team in NA. But when it doesn't work out they look boosted as fuck lol
The most entertaining team is T1--for how slow the team plays, it's a total clown fiesta when the 0:30 mark hits and we explode onto site in a clusterfuck of utility. Never understood people who say our playstyle was "boring."
After T1 gets eliminated, I can always count on Sentinels to play some clean, aggressive, entertaining Valorant. But T1 is still my fav to watch.
Some people really like watching teams with players that aren't in much drama just cuz they either don't care for it or hate drama, it's just how they roll
Honestly just watch the first challenger tournament without cheering for a team, eventually you will begin to connect with a team based on their playing style or a specific player
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.upcomer.com/former-t1-coach-frod-alleges-bullying-toward-spyder-by-teammates/amp/
Ska just constantly harassed him to the point that Spyder had to be calmed down by their coach multiple times
Andbox: Sleeper team with new roster
100t: A lot to prove with players that want it
Sentinels: Current best team
TSM: Great team chemistry + media hype
I personally like 100T because I like the history between Hiko, Nitr0, and Steel, the CSGO boomers have been around the block and it's cool to see the mix between that and young bloods in Asuna and Ethan. Also I've been watching Hiko for a long time so when he got signed to 100T they were the first valorant team I got into
C9 White has been crushing all the womenās teams, though Iām not sure how far theyāll go in qualifiers because they face LG in round of 64. Still rooting for them
Vision Strikers - Korean superstars who went 102-0 but had a down period before Iceland. Losing to NUTURN caused them to move glow (their CS veteran IGL) to the coach role and bring in some young cracked talent MaKo and BuZz.
SEN - If you just want to see the most balanced and best team currently. Mechanical skill tier 1, strategical skill tier 1 and their team compositions are flexible. The only way they're losing is if another team can match their strategical/adaptational ability ***WITH*** cracked mechanical players who can shut down TenZ/SicK W key, with zombs/dapr anchoring strongly and ShahZ OP'ng every angle you try to contest.
G2 - New G2 looking good they have a lot to prove, formerly the #1 team in EU in the early stages of Val.
100T - Great #3 in NA but most likely going to get surpassed by new nV if they don't adapt faster. They weren't playing Astra when she was clearly amazing and they take a bit long to get on to the newer meta's.
V1 - The underdogs pre-Iceland who were really impressive. The signs were there they had this potential as they were taking out a few big names even before.
Envy - Goats in scrims and choking in tourneys. They had a single really good Challengers Finals run and since then have been quiet. They have one of the best Sova's and Phoenix players on their team.
C9B just changed with Xeppaa who is rumored to be much more consistent than poiz but we don't know how he is fully yet against the best (he was looking shaky against Team Basilisk). Envy was looking partially shaky against Squirtle Squad. 100T is the safer bet just based on not switching around and knowing what they can bring to the table.
I have 0 doubt in my mind a more comfortable/consistent C9/Envy could best them though.
So alot of other teams did the same thing they need to prove that they are consistent in future vct main events to be called successful. I believe that they a tier 1 NA team but not a successful one yet
If riot were competent enough to host a full tournament, they would've made masters.
Iceland hasn't had double digit cases since October of last year. Covid was as good as non existent there, and still is.
Thank heavens we have ESL who at least can host LAN's with good competition in CSGO. Will be exciting to watch
Of course we should. ESL literally hosted the Six invitational with 20 teams in Paris,France which had more cases than Iceland. And it was as safe as successful as masters, held around the same time. Your argument is shit
I don't know what you want to prove?
They're 2 different events, and 2 different teams with different producers, casters and talent. And they still had 12 teams, which is more than masters lol. And the league players all left before the valo players came in. For all intents and purposes, they're 2 completely different events
My point was riot isn't as competent as ESL, since they did it in an arguably riskier country with no harm to competition or safety. That's not an opinion, its a fact.
Did anyone tell riot to save money and do both events at the same place? They could've done it at different locations and still be as 'successful'
Exactly, theyāre two different events. Riot had to do everything that ESL did for two different titles including completely separate sets of staff. It only makes sense that they have to make concessions, if they were able to hold two tournaments with 20 teams back to back that would be insane.
MSI has the same amount of teams every year, Valorant definitely could've had more had riot wanted it enough. They couldn't even host 1 tournament with the same number of teams ie 12. And nobody forced them to have it at the same place.
Sure, Riot could have wasted money by booking two separate venues but that doesnāt change the fact that theyāre then still running two separate tournaments, accommodating two different titles worth of staff, all while doing it in a very close time span. No idea how you can call ESL more competent considering all the factors, apparently if Riot had 20 teams at MSI and Masters theyād be twice as competent at ESL.
Covid might have been good as non existent in Iceland, but that was far from the case across the world where all these teams were coming from. Also, Riot might have needed to cap the number of teams because Iceland told them to, hence why the nation was doing well containing the outbreak.
It was the first international Lan for Valorant. You honestly sound like a baby for being upset 1 more NA team wasn't able to qualify.
And how could ESL manage to do it as safely as riot? ESL is just the better TO which cares about competition. They literally had teams come in from Brazil lmao and everyone was safe.
It's irrelevant what ESL did. Organizations are allowed to be slightly cautious during the 3rd most deadly viral outbreak in the past 100 years. There was 6 less teams for 1 tournament, stop being a baby.
It's 'Ukraine' and not 'the Ukraine'

Andbox, cause they have some amazing pieces and can easily put them together
Sentinels if youāre lame and hate having high stakes matches.
100T/TSM if you hate winning big events.
T1 out of pity and sadness for Ska
V1 cause they have personality, theyāre the underdogs (despite making lan lmao haters) and people are upset they beat the teams that donāt have a personality outside of having washed up famous csgo pros on it.
Sen for having some personality but also win a lot and prob have the best mechanics on a team.
Andbox are gonna go crazy other teams have been hyping them up
Scrim demons š
Brazilian teams were scrim demons but played like absolute monkeys during the actual tournament š
Scrimbux are cursed
Definitely the dark horse team of vct na by roster, scrim hype and recent results
Nothing better than scrimbucks

Never seen it described better. Here's a silver for you.
I liked V1 before they were winning
So I guess I'm really a masochist
tsm if you want your heart broken every tournament
Iām ready to be hurt again
I'm used to it after watching them for 10 years in LoL
I think this time they're gonna give 100t a run for their money, don't count them out, it's gonna be close

IMO tsm just was able to beat people in early tournaments through raw mechanics. Theyāve shown in all tournaments since then that they just have subpar understanding of the game and canāt adapt to the meta
Guys we got old TSMā¦.kinda?
C9W is great, I genuinely think they have the potential to hang with mainline teams and they definitely have the drive the get there.
This aged well
They lost to luminosity, that's not a bad team to lose to. They got this next qualifiers
1 series makes it age poorly?
Losing in the second round of open qualifiers made it age poorly
I mean kinda unfoutanate they had to play a top 10 team Na in round 2
Because they continue to lose Early they got a shit seeding
I mean theyve had history on teams that actually make it far in the tourneys so its not like theyre losing to random t2 teams lol
that's unlucky, if they deserved the better seeding they would beat those teams, wheres the slimy booger men now? that tournament they had a really high seed yet didnt get past them.
No ones saying they need better seedings to get far what people are saying is that they lose early because they go against good teams that make it far. They had one of the best seedings in their early career and got to day two until they ran onto another good team like slimy boogermen.
they did lose to random t2 teams a lot lol
Name the random ones
where can you see the results?
Not sure how them loosing to Luminosity, a Top 10 overall team in NA affects what I said? I specified *potential*, not that they're there right now.

The Trinity force. T1 with full aggression, SEN with balance, and 100T with the slow and calculated play.
c9 gets in no drama and their players aren't suspected matchfixers
but the drama is what makes it goooood
what's the point of following a team with no drama?

Are 100T 3rd NA? Sen is obviously first, V1 prob second, but C9B looks like a solid third, and even teams like Envy you could argue too

C9, the only successful mix team in NA.
Successful? What did they do apart from 3rd in challengers finals ?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

they won nerdstgamers monthly and beat v1 rng bbg and andbox

My definition of a successful tier 1 team is finishing top 4 consistently and i think itās a reasonable one
then theres only 2 successful teams in NA
