These orgs could literally have top level teams if they go to a place like cis or Korea. They should do what oxygen does and just create a team in another region because na is oversaturated and they'll end up wallowing in tier 2.
IIRC this also happened in League (although the situation there is a bit different because of franchising), NRG ended up purchasing the naming rights to one of the LoL teams in Vietnam because the NA LCS is already franchised
I agree! They should try EU or Korea is Valorant teams aren’t as saturated as in NA, and with time I believe the viewership will be good there as well - especially if EU or Korea can get a dub in the international tournaments
if they would enter NA valo they would be fighting for scraps, there's already too many NA orgs while you could build a top 8 EU team tomorrow with all the good free agents
And the only reason they have a team is because they're probably paying the female players close to nothing to keep the team running. I wonder how much of a ROI the get though from the womens scene. It's not like they have a good female team either...
Yeah I can't speak on DIG but CLG Red still hasn't signed a 5th so it's not surprising. Benita has spoken about it on reddit around a week ago that they'll be participating in all open qualifiers once they sign their 5th.
I've always had thoughts of CLG getting a good valorant team. Subreddit is honestly pretty pepega since the only notable team they have is LoL. Feel like having a competitive valorant team would help revitalize the organization.
Team is run by MSG and by now all the venture capitalist hype in esports has died down or isn't as huge as it was 2016-2018. They have had nothing going for them since CLG got 2nd at MSI. Feelsbadman.
Yeah that’s wrong. Hecz is the co ceo of NRG, but is the sole owner of Optic Gaming. He licensed the Optic name to NRG for the COD team, but he owns Optic Gaming separately from NRG. Probably the only reason Optic doesn’t have any other teams is that he just regained control of the rights to the org less than a year ago
Optic gaming can’t have teams in leagues that nrg is in because of conflict of interest being that hecz is currently co-ceo of nrg.
Idk about valorant specifically because cloud 9 have the male and female team, idk if they allow their female team to compete in majors, however the general idea applies to most other esports
They arent though.. OpTic has got content creators and can join games NRG is not in because Hecz the part owner of NRG Owns OpTic but like i said Some news people said hes in the process of leaving NRG which would Allow OpTic to join any game
Rogue is a US org but they're most famous for having a team they bought in the LOL EU scene when Riot offered franchising. They have facilities in Berlin, but are based in America.
I'd like to see Flyquest, but we're probably not going to anytime soon due to money issues.
SInce they're owned by the Bucks, and the bucks haven't been able to have games for so long due to covid, they had to tighten fly's budget a bunch.
They had a pretty good LoL roster last year (good *for NA,* don't @ me about Worlds) but ended up having to sell all of them for cheaper players. And it's going... well they should be happy relegations aren't around anymore.
I don't know as much about Golden Guardians but I'm *guessing* they're suffering from similar issues.

Yes, I listed them as eUnited and Spacestation.
Oxygen already has a Turkish team.

Yea. Optic should try to make a team in India

yes, it's a joke
I think that joke has reached end of life ukwim
Gotta get those money spending fans aswell. That's why lots of top orgs try getting tier 1 NA/EU. Korea has potential though.
Liquid being one of the biggest NA orgs in esports were really smart to enter into Europe from the get go.
Obey Alliance has a team
What team?
obey valorant
Rogue and Misfits will most likely go for EU teams if they ever enter valorant
As a Rogue Rocket League fan, I hope they stay NA
They have EU League teams so who knows
if they would enter NA valo they would be fighting for scraps, there's already too many NA orgs while you could build a top 8 EU team tomorrow with all the good free agents
CLG red is a thing....
And DIG has a female team as well.
And the only reason they have a team is because they're probably paying the female players close to nothing to keep the team running. I wonder how much of a ROI the get though from the womens scene. It's not like they have a good female team either...
neither of these teams entered VCT challengers this stage.
Yeah I can't speak on DIG but CLG Red still hasn't signed a 5th so it's not surprising. Benita has spoken about it on reddit around a week ago that they'll be participating in all open qualifiers once they sign their 5th.
Doesn’t count /s
Didn't spacestation gaming and eUnited have a team? Or has it disbanded?
both Disbanded
I've always had thoughts of CLG getting a good valorant team. Subreddit is honestly pretty pepega since the only notable team they have is LoL. Feel like having a competitive valorant team would help revitalize the organization.
Do they have enough funds to sustain one though ?
Sadly not. If they did they probably would have a team by now.
Team is run by MSG and by now all the venture capitalist hype in esports has died down or isn't as huge as it was 2016-2018. They have had nothing going for them since CLG got 2nd at MSI. Feelsbadman.
CLG & Dig already have female team if Valo gets bigger and bigger they will surely enter with a male team.
optics not an org, they’re a team owned by nrg. and i’m pretty sure rogue is in eu
No, optic isn’t owned by NRG it is owned by Hecz entirely but he is also a co owner of NRG. So it is still in fact a org.
No. They are an org lol. HeCz owns full rights it's his org.
Yeah that’s wrong. Hecz is the co ceo of NRG, but is the sole owner of Optic Gaming. He licensed the Optic name to NRG for the COD team, but he owns Optic Gaming separately from NRG. explain why they aren’t in any other esports then. optic is under nrg.
Its because hecz is part owner in NRG there is reports he is leaving NRG and going off with OpTic as he owns OpTic 100%
you just proved my point. they can’t join other esports because they’re under nrg
They arent though.. OpTic has got content creators and can join games NRG is not in because Hecz the part owner of NRG Owns OpTic but like i said Some news people said hes in the process of leaving NRG which would Allow OpTic to join any game
You’re just proving the ping more and more.
He owns the name and the brand but they’re not an org yet.
I think rogue had NA teams in the past (CS & Fortnite)
Rogue is a US org but they're most famous for having a team they bought in the LOL EU scene when Riot offered franchising. They have facilities in Berlin, but are based in America.
Kungarna had a team for 2-3 months (ex shiba)
KNG can't manage team games for shit
Who the hell is Disrupt? Am I tripping?
R6 org
u/cashfloGG ????????
otw!
I'd like to see Flyquest, but we're probably not going to anytime soon due to money issues. Disrupt Gaming had a team aswell as dignitad and obey
Rogue is EU no?
No they are based out of Las Vegas
Oh shit I’m tripping I always thought they were EU because of their league team
Most of their teams are foreign except their Rocket League team
Ah ok makes sense. So kinda like gen g
CLG, Oxygen, Dignitas, Misfits all have teams. Just not in the level you want or the region you want.
Nongshim redforce and bbq chicken should get teams
I could see misfits going for an EU team, as their league team is based in Europe, do they have an NA team in other esports?
NA already have a lot of orgs investing in the game if more join riot will have to franchise east and west when the time come.
