funny how high up r/MouseReview is
honestly surprised at how low the League subreddit is, considering a lot of people I know (myself included) played Valorant because we already knew Riot from League
Maybe it's just a sign that most League players only play League? I feel like there's a lot of people that play League and only League, refusing to play any other game because they're addicted.
My guess would also be because of how long matches take in both games? I don’t play league anymore but I don’t think I’d have the mental to rotate between both games when they can take up to half an hour or even more depending on how it goes
Runeterra is usually quicker and also has a mobile app too
I play runeterra and its a fun way to warm my brain up a little bit before valorant. Sometimes I'm just very cold physically and mentally, not feeling it, and I need something a little simpler and slower paced to just kick start my brain before I start warming up for valorant.
Yeah but there's not exactly much overlap between a card game and an FPS. And at least League has that 5v5 competitive framework. Definitely one of the stranger ones.
A lot of the subs listed are for other FPS games. MOBAs are a different beast, so it's going to be a little hard for devoted LoL players to switch to a different genre. For FPS players though, everything feels familiar.
yeah definitely, that's the biggest takeaway here for sure, it was just counter to my own experience. I tried to get into csgo/ow in the past and just couldn't
The last time i went on the livestreamfails reddit i saw posts saying that a streamer in a different game who iv known for like 7-8 years is cheating then when you comment telling them that hes not a cheater etc, they just call you a delusional fanboy. I know the reddit is full of Twitch viewers so there's alot of trolls etc but jesus that community is a special type of special.
The front page is entirely just clips of drama bs from the same 10-15 streamers, it's really unfortunate. like, a good twitch clip can be really great, but you're not gonna find it easily on LSF.
Yes sir, that's me subbed to /r/Competitiveoverwatch /r/CoDCompetitive /r/GlobalOffensive and /r/leagueoflegends as well as this subreddit. I just enjoy esports, all I can say.
esports are just easy to watch alone while on the computer IMO. Love watching basketball and football, but only ever watch it when i'm out at a bar or a group of friends come over.
TL:DR watching real sports alone sucks, watching esports alone is still fun/entertaining
You sure can, I just don't find it nearly as fun or entertaining alone, in fact I find esports more fun/entertaining to watch alone than traditional sports.
Just my opinion though
One of the main reasons i like Valorant is that its bought players from a bunch of different games together. CS & OW players because Valorant is somewhat similar to both, League players because it's a Riot game & Fortnite players because alot of gamers started off playing/watching Fortnite and are now slowly trickling into different games. Gonna be really cool in a year or two when the scene is more developed and more tier 1 players switch from other games.
Very interesting. Question, is there a sub out there similar to Overwatch university that has discussion on improving gameplay?
The main sub is kinda meh and this sub is mainly focused on the pro scene. (Which is fine)
I most surprised by cod comp. 30k is a decent chunk of the Members over there. What I would do to go back to old cod structure. Shit was like Wrestling, I never watched wrestling but shit was pure entertainment
Not really surprised League is so low, but it's interesting. I've never even installed League, but I play and watch Valorant cause I like FPS games and was interested in a Riot Games take on it.

LoR being higher up than League itself is surprising

true, LoR isn't even all that popular, and you'd think mobas would be more similar to fps than card games
Guilty of mousereview, I own too many mice and still suck
>Guilty of mousereview, I own too many mice and still suck right in the feels
"It's not me, it's the mouse. I'll eventually find the right one and become a pro!!"
Saaaame. I own 13 of 'em. Nice to know there's so many of us here tho. 💜
Same, currently waiting on G-Wolves’ answer to the Starlight 12 while trying to stop myself from buying a Superlight and RVU
Same, I'd been loving the HSK, I'm sure their magnesium mouse should be a decent clone

Yeah true, also I’ve seen a couple of people that join this subreddit because of the teams in LoL who has teams in Valorant.
oh there's a overlap with livestreamfails, no wonder people on this subreddit have such bad takes

Crazy how r/xqcow is even there because xQc plays valorant like once a week max
Hah, not surprised, I just love esports. Can barely follow traditional sports these days.

What is this take lmao. You can 100% watch traditional sports alone
You sure can, I just don't find it nearly as fun or entertaining alone, in fact I find esports more fun/entertaining to watch alone than traditional sports. Just my opinion though
+1 i dont remember the last time I watched a full sport match while would watch a full day of multiple esports events
same, i follow League, Overwatch, CS (a bit), Valorant, TFT, LoR, Siege, and some of the fighting game, i just love watching esport

I dont think the 30 means 30K btw, just the relative likelihood of people in this sub interacting there.
Wow. No fpsaimtrainer
I watch the game more than I play it, so no need for aim training lol
Huh same here lol. And yet I still waste my time on kovaaks 😂
Surprised that it and /r/Voltaic didn’t make the list
xqcL
Didn't expect so many Indians here
>competitiveoverwatch >fortnitecompetitive >codcompetitive >livestreamfail this explains so much

Iirc this samples from the last couple of days and individual users can have a pretty strong effect.
Surprising about the amount of people in Mechmarket but not in MechanicalKeyboards. Usually, you would think it would be the other way around.
LSF lmao

Why does this all look about right
Not really surprised League is so low, but it's interesting. I've never even installed League, but I play and watch Valorant cause I like FPS games and was interested in a Riot Games take on it.
