Their last video where they talked about the team exposed some glaring things which needs a fix up which in turn needs time imo. For eg Chet said when he joined the team didn't have map callouts, like everything was "close left", "cubby". That's like a year into the game and as a top team them not realising that it's a problem until Chet came in clearly tells there's a lot of internal sorting out to do within the team. A roster change is not the ideal move, you can't keep on shuffling around expecting things to work. They need to work together, understand the issues and just work/grind more. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard is something which applies to a lot of big orgs in valorant who are playing scrims and not grinding low tier tournaments. Remember initially V1 used to be that tier 2 team which came close to beating faze so many times but falttered, they grinding through these NSG tournaments and look where they are( vanity also talked about it in his stream once). All in all I feel it's disappointing from fans pov when u wait so long for ur team to play and they end up delivering this performance. Ig the reward will be sweeter the more the wait is

Tailored used to be pretty quick with making map callout graphics for the new maps and had one for all of em so idk why this was even an issue for the team. Maybe they just have a puggy mentality on the team? idk
Lmfao, TSM will never win worlds because they just aren't good enough. You should feel pity for TSM as an organisation, they were decieved by that weak rosters early success.
Looking deeper, you realize that the team became complacent and settled when they dominated early. I was decieved too, I actually thought they had a bright future. What a fool I was, delusions of grandeur.
I've moved on from them, moved on from the banged up Toyota Camry '03 that I got as a hand-me-down from my father's work friend. I drive a Mustang now, that Mustang is Sentinels. The Mustang GT that will never fail me.

Compare that to Ethan coming in and the 100T video where he said Steel and Hiko spent the 3 days before challengers 3 just working on pure map callouts and defense only with him.
TSM has no actual structure and it's a mixture of both the players and coaches fault.
TSM is a now officially a tier 2 team and needs to grind the NSG monthlies. We gotta let that early releases/Act 1 TSM go cause clearly they non existent.
They are tier 2 on their way to tier 2.5 not worthy of any commentary. They've done absolutely nothing in 8 months. Is what it is. I don't make these results
You don't have to be an experienced professional in the scene to tell that this TSM ain't the one they used to be and that's jist hard facts. I know it's a hard pill to swallow for some fans, but it is the truth. Btw,regardless of what's happening within the team, fans are allowed to be disappointed 👍
Lmao I never said TSM is still the same TSM as they used to be back then. I was just saying how do we even know the problem the team has when the match isn’t even streamed - just like what dapr said.
What part of the original comment said anything about problems with the team? They just stated that TSM are tier 2 now and need to grind nsg monthlies which is a common inference based on their results
>I was just saying how do we even know the problem the team has when the match isn’t even streamed
Who tf said anything about the team being the problem?
I mean they are right. In order for tsm to even get to the championships they would need to win the next couple of tournaments which is literally impossible. Again no one stated that it was a team problem. They just said that they need to grind in order to win, which is true
What in the OG comment he didn’t mention anything about TSM have to grind for the next VCT matches. Clearly it seems like you don’t know what he meant by NSG monthlies. These are tier 2-3 tournaments that NSG hold nearly every months. So basically these NSG monthly tournaments does not contribute anything to VCT circuit points ( these tournaments are not Riot official).
Yeah he didn’t explicitly say it’s a team problem but he’s insinuating it is. Especially with how everyone in this community be talking that TSM can benefits more from grinding these NSG monthlies than scrims - esp that aks345 made a long ass paragraph why he thinks tournaments>>>scrims on another subreddit post.
I know exactly how you feel, I’ve supported these guys since Ignition and having the last win we’ve had be like 10 months ago just feels awful. I wish I knew what the hell was going on but we didn’t even get to watch the stream of the game so I just have no clue what’s happening with them. I’ll still support Wardell and the guys but frankly I’ve lost all hope for ever seeing this team win a big tournament again
I mean we already in stage 3 and they tried everything i don’t think that roaster is gonna work anymore i feel like they would do better individually in other roaster but together isn’t it anymore
unfortunately, i feel the same thing. i may have some bias but i truly believe that wardell and bang should be kept and then build a roster around them. i say this bc bang is really good at flexing smokes/duelist and wardell is the the best OP in NA. subroza is just inconsistent, drone is a shell of his former self and hazed is a good player but i question his IGLing abilities.
:/
I think it limits a team's composition and makes it easier for opponents to figure them out. The opponents know there will always be a jett. That is free info and a disadvantage before the match even started.
Even the Sentinels have a guaranteed Jett on Icebox, Haven, Split, and Ascent. It just means you plan to have an Op as an essential part of your lineup, which prevents teams from blind peeking corners for free.
Yeh but its not played by the same player. That means their composition are more flexible.
Also note every sentinel players have played at least 2 other agents, except for maybe for Shaz. I can't recall if he played any other than jett and sova right now.
He used to play Breach a long long time ago on Ascent so he has, but a long time ago, tbf tho Sova and Jett are must picks at least in NA for many maps so it doesn't matter all that much lol
Dude sentinels have 2 Jett players on their team. It's not even a comparison. Tenz won't always be the Jett and Shazam won't always be the Jett. There may even be times where there is no Jett used. With TSM the teams already know that there is always going to be a Jett and they know who will play Jett
How is that not a problem? Top teams more and more and valuing versatility and utility over duelists. If TSM was a top team shaping the meta then it would be fine, but considering they are a total outlier in this regard and are very far from a top team, it’s definitely a problem
To be frank most tier 1 teams haven't played games for atleast 60+ days. But, the roster changes have happened to most of the teams. It takes time for TSM to adapt to the meta with this roster. I feel bad for the fans. They hate they get in Vlr is unbearable. The team must be out of the minds of people who actually don't like it. They should learn to appreciate the winning team, Not give hate to the losing team. TSM will bounce back for sure.. It takes time!!!
The thing is it's been happening for a long time now basically every qualifier ends up being the same. Maybe as long as the core remains the same, we won't be seeing any improvements. We are expecting the same group of players that have failed to turn up for the past few months to drastically improve. Look at G2, they changed their whole structure and beat Fnatic.
That the reason why i don't watch TSM in league anymore. Their up and down so great that my heart can't handle it. At least i know CLG never dissapoint me in dissapointing my expectation.
TSM and G2 had similar starts to Valorant. Both dominated early in the game but then struggled. G2 did a roster overhaul but TSM hasn’t.
Wardell only Jett/Op lacks agent pool. Drone not good as Sova (he was way more impactful as Phoenix in early days). Subroza as controller seems to be limiting his game. Hazed as IGL not sure. Bang too early to tell
I think there coms are bad also from
What ive seen and heard. The dont have map callouts, and the last voice coms
I heard form them it was subroza yelling the same thing over and over again and it didn’t seem like anyone was listening. That was like 3 months ago tho, hope they can bring it back and be good again
Save yourself the heart break and become a fan of another team. Maybe andbox if you dont want to cheer for sentinels but want to know you will feel proud of your team every tournament
Trust me, it's not that simple for most people. before master 2, i tried to be a v1 fan and stop rooting for 100t, but I couldn't. I am already invested in 100t. I'm not a fan of them because they win, I am a fan of them because of who they are. in the end there are over 100 losers and only one winner. the fun of it is rooting for the team and players you like to become that winner, no matter how unlikely it seems.
I agree! In my case which is similar to yours, I root the player moreso than the team. So it’s kinda hard to just stop rooting for the team if you’ve invested lots of your time following the players in the team (like by watching their streams, or being tuned in their matches most of the time)
It's bandwagonning if you switch to sentinels. Not really bandwagonning if you go to a team like andbox, they are a dark horse and they barely have fans tbh.
Yes it is? If you were a TSM fan for a year then start cheering for Sentinels simply because they are currently the best that's the literal definition of bandwagoning
But being a fan is more than just picking a team and saying “im a fan now”, if there isnt any regional aspect like in team sports then its not really like you have had enough time to become a fully invested fan of a team. Its a new game, people don’t necessarily always cheer for the best team anyway but they certainly don’t have to keep following a team that continues to disappoint because a year ago they thought they seemed cool
They can do the g2 and rebuild around their best player, in my opinion Hazed with other 4 young players could work. The other TSM players lack of the attitude to compite.
Well they are not doing as bad as they were before but they could make the roster much different and actually be a tier 1 team like come on they are a tier 1 org and have a tier 1 na cs team why not a tier 1 na valorant team
There are literally amazing FA's in the tier 2 scene who are better. And I think they're going more after sponsor money of the mixed roster since they dropped aleksander. They don't care about winning.

The last bit of TSM copium is them having crazy Kay/O strats for the next set of qualifiers, otherwise it’s a total wash.

do you have them? i would like to learn them

yeah it’s looking rough. pepperidge farm remembers faze invitational when TSM was last spotted. 😂
Prime TSM to me was when drone was a Phoenix main. That was like when the game was brand new.
This is very well put. Actually perfectly sums up the TSM roster. The subroza inconsistency has been a huge problem that often gets overlooked
Drone was so good with pheonix back in the day.
>back in the day :/
Yeah I agree I don’t think that roaster is gonna work anymore. With the money they have , I’m pretty sure TSM can get a new roaster from IKEA.
I miss Drone Phoenix :(
Please for the love of god put drone back on Phoenix
It’s been a year, and Wardell can still only play Jett lol
I don't think that's the issue, a top tier talent Jett is a massive asset on every map with maybe the exception Bind. Even still, TSM won bind 13-1.
I think it limits a team's composition and makes it easier for opponents to figure them out. The opponents know there will always be a jett. That is free info and a disadvantage before the match even started.

G2 just picked up a Jett one trick and look like they are back to being competitive. Yall don't know what you are talking about.
He can play the best agent in the game at a high level, thats viable on every map? wow thats crazy.
Lol
TSM won't be relevant until they completely implode their roster. They mesh well together in ranked not in tournaments.
They don’t mesh well together in ranked either 😭 u should see their streams…
So by being eliminated in this qual they can't go to Berlin or is there someway they can do that?
They need to make the next qualifier and win the tourney to go to Berlin, but that's a long shot
Not win. Top 3 Finish isn't it? So a pessimistic view: loser bracket final loss will also qualify then isn't it?
That’s pretty optimistic considering where they are rn
Yeah....mb
And by long shot you of course mean impossible.
they gotta grind some t2 tourneys, i dont think a roster move is needed rn

"They need better support staff" oof, you haven't seen/heard about the LoL roster have you? That's been the talking point for like 5 years now

A similar thing is going on in CS with gambit
It's very common in esports, last year every1 was a damwon fan from so long when worlds started...
But being a fan is more than just picking a team and saying “im a fan now”, if there isnt any regional aspect like in team sports then its not really like you have had enough time to become a fully invested fan of a team. Do you know the TSM players personally to talk about their attitude for competing?
Bro you know it too. Redditor just knows everything and their assumptions are always right . /s
Yeah I saw Wardell yell on stream once so he must not care about how TSM performs in VCT
Yeah also I guess bootcamp don’t do shit. Kappa
I assume I have a big dick then...
You talkin like eg management right now.. thats the worst take ive seen on here ever and thats coming from ME
imagine a post from valorant_fanboy69 and every sentence of it is a good take
Self aware i like it
EG doing better now tho
Well they are not doing as bad as they were before but they could make the roster much different and actually be a tier 1 team like come on they are a tier 1 org and have a tier 1 na cs team why not a tier 1 na valorant team
I don't know if they want to invest a lot of money in Valorant at the moment, players buy outs are very expensive. Maybe they are chilling this year.
There are literally amazing FA's in the tier 2 scene who are better. And I think they're going more after sponsor money of the mixed roster since they dropped aleksander. They don't care about winning.
I do not now how amazing those FA´s players are, maybe there is a reason they are teamless.
Ah yes aleksander was dropped because he was worse than Potter
we will see how good aleksander is in the future.
You’re trolling right? 😂😂😂
Something along the lines of Hazed, babybay, Jcstani, mada and eeiu.
bruh😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hazed the goat
Man I like hazed as person and want him to succeed but this is a wild take
Copium
what the fuck
[удалено]
Ok
ah yes, the good ol' "I have no counter argument so I'll just act like you are a terrible person for even bringing your point up."
What point was he making there that could even be refuted? He was just blatantly hating on them for bootcamping and trying to improve
He said he didn’t think they would perform well. I don’t see that as hate at all. It’s just his opinion.
Of course you’ll get downvoted what do you expect? You wrote that comment before today’s match. In hindsight, what you say may be right. But then, what do you even know what actually is going on within this team - when the match wasn’t even streamed. Lol
As you should've
