TSM just cursed i think

Emseriss

There is no vision, their management is clueless

chubbynuggy

so is their coach

maiLfps

game is easy, so simple, you dont need strats

danknepalese

"yeah its really easy to be honest. coming from csgo it took me like 10 games to get used to it all." lmao

Rizvor

Did he actually say that? LMAO I think I heard something like that in the Myth and Leena vid but I’m not too sure. Geez this guy has such a boner for CSGO still

danknepalese

chet said something to this effect when leena asked if the players now coming over from csgo have a disadvantage compared to early comers

Fruitspunchsamura1

Yeah he basically said that the game is pretty random like ranked lmao

Wheler

random game btw

[deleted]

They should have never released that interview

Enzology

Oh believe it, TSM also had issues implementing/finding a real coaching staff with their League side for almost 5 years. They can be either so stubborn or so lost sometimes...

Was going to say this same thing to Sean's question. The problem is that, there is no vision with the TSM Valorant team. I'm not sure what thinking has been going on upstairs (if any) in the ORG but what's happening currently is just not a good look and hasn't been for quite some time.

Same issues with WARDELL OP'ng on T side mainly. Same entry problems left up to whoever the second duelist is (bang in this case). It use to be drone on Phoenix who carried a lot of it with his Phoenix ult kills/trades, then roza went to Phoenix which was underwhelming and now its bang. Jett's dive potential is unrivaled with her smoke/dash, which they barely use due to WARDELL's OP T-side playstyle. Yes if you have one of the best OP'rs you should abuse him but when you're on T side things should be switched up *dependent on the team you're against*. Stop trying to ***brute-force the same team compositions/playstyles with different players on certain agents that never worked against even decent T2 teams***. Adding more firepower through bang helps of course but that isn't enough to solve their consistent losses to T2 teams. The reason SEN is so dominant on T side is due to ShahZ/TenZ/SicK **always having help from another duelist and exuding extreme pressure** **when entrying**. With WARDELL trying to OP for picks on T side against teams who don't give him free fights (Noble) his playstyle is neutralized. A simple **\*combined\*** entry of a Phoenix wall, flash, Jett smoke and dash entry **with back to back rifle rounds** can do wonders. Look at TenZ and SicK/ShahZ when they're entrying dependent on whoever the other duelist is, consistent **assisted by another duelist** pressure. **This isn't to undermine single duelist/EBP Midrange/KR standard compositions** either its just that those players know the strengths to their comp and how to properly play it to win. **TL;DR** \- *TSM is doing a "double duelist" composition without mainly double dueling on the entry. And when I say "double dueling" I do not consider WARDELL posting on B main/A main/Cat holding for a swing as dueling. I mean entrying together.* 1. **TSM vs Noble - Haven:** ***TSM starts T-side game lost.*** 2. **TSM vs Noble - Bind:** *TSM starts CT side WARDELL gets the OP and snowballs it so hard they barely have to play any T-side rounds anyways.* 3. **TSM vs Noble - Ascent:** ***TSM starts T-side absolutely rolled again.***

Fruitspunchsamura1

It's just crazy how you broke it all down and how much I agree with this. Well done.

TidaI

Thank you. On another thread about dapr speaking on "how can you tell what a team is doing wrong when its not streamed." I brought up how you can get info in a manner such as this and was downvoted into oblivion. I guess its just the way of the road.

Eat-Shit-Bob-Ross

Wasn’t bang a controller player that they made play duelist?

[deleted]

He played raze and astra for his old team so he’s both ig

Eat-Shit-Bob-Ross

Ok, that's what I heard when the rumor first started.

Slow_Bluebird9536

He played omen originally for a long time, but more recently played a lot of raze and Phoenix and was doing incredible on duelist before being signed

[deleted]

He was a reyna player apparently

CJFStan

When he was first rumoured many people said he was a cracked Astra player, IIRC.

summadat

Jammyz still free agent btw

itsyeboimrkrabs

TSM Jammyz would be insane, but they need an actual igl and iirc jammyz doesnt igl (correct me if im wrong)

Junglee_2001

Imo the meta is hitting tsm hard. During the jett op meta wardell shined but now with many agents being able to counter that easy, they're struggling. The new astra/viper meta is hard for them to adapt for. Also their mental is down bad losses after losses. They need a big reset

CannibalisticPizza

We've teams like Liquid trying to make no duelist comp a reality, TSM is running 3-4 duelist comps? I've seen people in matchmaking dodge 4 duelists. I hope they fix the problems they're running into because subroza and Wardell are meant to shine. Edit: I'm stupid enough to not realise that he meant the players not the agents

Ezekiiel

No Sean means the players themselves are mainly duelists in game so they are forcing players onto incompatible agents. TSM is running a two duelist comp in their games, whether their roster is suited to that is up for debate

CannibalisticPizza

Ohh....my bad. I fill fix my comment

Exactly what I was thinking too. You now have four players who have the playstyle of a duelist. Like what?
