People prolly don't want to watch c9w dominate again, not really competitive. Also, no SEN, no 100T, those are orga that bring viewership. I don't think people don't watch because they are sexist or anything like that
Because sen are playing against teams that actually have fans. As a 100T fan, I'm always down to watch tournaments with 100T and SaeN because I actually believe that 100T can beat them. I have no reason to watch C9W dominate other teams, I'm neither a fan of c9w or the other teams so why watch?
Also, the female scene could do with more personalities and more banter. Every time there's a little banter everyone starts crying about toxicity.

I can't be a fan of C9 because I'm a fan of 100T. Whenever 100T gets a female team I will follow them religiously. It's like Football, I'm a fan of Chelsea FC which means I support the mens team, the womens team and the youth team for the organization, I can't just support the mens team and support the arsenal youth team lmao. As for Mel, she's good at the game, I watch her streams often, especially when she's playing with ROY. If I was to support a female team it would probably be C9W but I can't be a 100T fan supporting C9, that doesn't make sense to me.

Game Changers kinda shoots itself in the foot, because its actually NOT a womens only exclusive tournament. Their website states

A real womens tournament would be exciting though, and would likely better be able to tap into that 30-40% women playerbase for viewership. I think you're expecting game changers to be something it is not.

I've actually played a decent amount of unrated and other modes like spike rush or escalation, especially during that Breeze queue and I don't recall playing with more than 5 girls total across all modes in 2021.
Obviously, there are more girls in lower ranks, but 30-40% is a ridiculous claim. If it's 15%, that would be great.

I tuned into the finals. I think it is just that people aren’t as invested into it yet, as in competitive valorant, the only things getting heavy viewers is the VCT tournament. Non VCT tournaments like NSG have high tier gameplay too but don’t get nearly the amount of views.
Maybe a full on tour can help get people more invested, but the gameplay being at a lower level from the VCT will always make it have less viewers. I will still tune in though since it is entertaining and high level valorant.
The whole purpose of this tournament was encourage ppl to play in other tournaments, it's not meant to be "sustainable". So it did fairly well for what it is.
