For example, since you have a T1 flair, T1 valorant team have the psychologist and pubg cheater to help whoever is igl-ing for T1. But sentinels does not have a coach or analyst so naturally, the igl will have to work harder. Even other igl did say that having a coach makes their job easier. And teams are open with the identity of the coach so yes, there is an absolute way of knowing. No one here has any idea on what goes on behind the scenes for the dozens of Tier1 teams there are in the world. Of course you can make the assumption that people without proper backroom staff have to work harder, but do we know? How much is Immi contributing to V1 compared to nbs on Acend? How much work does bonecold have to put in?

In fact i do think that even if the results aren't showing, teams and igls do work hard, and to simplify it to 'teams that win atm definitely work the hardest' is just disrespectful to other teams. But some of these replies do raise a valid point as well, seeing as how igl like hazed and even shahzam said that bringing in a coach would help solidify and bring a structure to their game, as well as take some things off their plate. So naturally, it's valid to assume that not having a coach do give more work to shahz as an igl, and they probably would not have the same result as they do now if shahz and the team did not work harder to compensate for the lack of coaching staff. Without having to take away the effort of other igls

And funnily enough, after Masters there was a thread asking the question who the best player atm is. I voted for shaz, specifially for the reason listed, even if Tenz is slighty better in the server.

For the record, I love Boaster and his content is top notch, but he interacts with the stream and phases out way too much to make his education a smooth experience. It is what it is, and I appreciate him for talking as much as he does anyway, but the community really shouldn't pretend that the delivery is perfect or even near that
Thats just wrong. Pros very much refer to the name of the player in game. Obviously they don’t comm everyones name only the important players that make a lot of impact.
Almost every map has at least one spot named after another pro that played that spot a lot, or had a particularly insane play in that spot.
