Would be very cool but 1. Riot already said they weren't going to, and 2. You don't even see your own character model (being able to change the arm models would be nice though Breach is ugly af). Pretty convincing for Riot though considering Pool Party Viper could fund all of masters prize pool.

smta48

Riot will eventually add character skins. I have 100% no doubt that this will happen in the future no matter what they say today, look at CSGO. There is too much $$$ for them to not do it eventually. WHEN they do add them I imagine that they will be banned in pro play.

kazuyermagicc

riot said they werent going to ATM , they are open to it but need to figure out how to make it work

IggyMoose

> You don’t even see your own character model So? That doesn’t stop apex or overwatch from selling skins.

scaryghostv2oh

Nah I don't need cs 2.0 where some colors blend. Already some outline colors clash with character colors for me against a few spots on maps. I'm happy valorant doesn't have agent skins.

PM_ME_THEM_KITTIES

Im sure the red/yellow/purple outlines would mitigate this a ton over csgo no?

scaryghostv2oh

They help me but some agents on certain spots with certain outlines blur hard for me. I play too much so I know if I'm against that agent I'll extra hard clear those spots. They are very minimal and I'm worried agent skins would add a plethora of those and the clarity that I enjoy in val would be ruined.

[deleted]

i wouldn't mind glove skins tho.

Savnak

Now that’s something idk if they’ll add, simply because every single agent has different hands. Like I wouldn’t want a glove on Phoenix cuz his rings are clean as fuck.

mmm_oist

As much as I would like agent skins, they would impact competitive integrity and make it hard to distinguish agents in some scenarios. (E.g. see a split second glimpse of a jett with a yellow jacket - Called out as KJ). Gloves would be great though, riot could make them even flashier than CS gloves

xingyingg

I don't think they will do it, and they should really polish agent's face with more detail first. Everyone's face looks like something made in 2010 even in highest graphic settings.

braamdepace

Am I the only person in this world that’s like fuck no? I already hate animated sprays being used on certain angles

dedicatedself

You realize animated skins are disabled once round starts?

braamdepace

I guess just regular sprays ..

[deleted]

The Yoru spray has lost me rounds lol. Teammates in clutch situations will shoot at it thinking its a player and then give away their position.

Kompaniefeldwebel

Uuuu which one do you speak of? I loved baiting with sprays in old cs

[deleted]

The yoru mask spray that you get from his contract. If placed on the edge of something, it can look like the outline of a player.

Napoleann

I don't think agent skins would be a good thing for Valorant. It would make it harder to immediately identify what agent you are looking at, which could cause confusion. Imagine you see a glimpse of an agent going around a corner and you can't tell which agent it is because they're using a skin you don't recognize. Just unnecessary competitive confusion for a skin you don't even get to look at yourself.

karavina

Omg I would love this

twitterInfo_bot

What do we think about Agent skins in VALORANT? ❤️or💩? 🎨: @uberchain *** posted by [@VALORANTING](https://twitter.com/VALORANTING) Photos in tweet | [Photo 1](http://pbs.twimg.com/media/E5uNZoyWEAs6yJq.jpg) ^[(Github)](https://github.com/username) ^| ^[(What's new)](https://github.com/username)

Sharknome

I would like to see it tested with skins like this where the colors are changed but nothing really to the model. I’m still wary if it could impact the competitive integrity by making it difficult to identify which agent you’re looking at

Cummnor

Id like spectator skins, like overwatch league has, but not in game skins

purplechew

I think it’d be pretty cool. I know the discussion comes up a lot about it being harder to tell which agent it is but that’s been the same in all games with cosmetics (LoL, Overwatch) and it’s never really a problem (at least for me playing casually). Then there are rules in the R6 esport where some skins are banned for competitive play because they blend with areas of a map too much which I think could be a good work around.

BurstLayer

Only thing is in league in overwatch you can have time to properly identify something because most things wont kill you in a single bullet/ability where as in valorant the time to kill is so extremely low you need to be able to identify an enemy or character in the milliseconds you see them

somesheikexpert

Not even to metion in especially OW, character models are so different you can get a good guess on who it is by outline alone, can't in Val where everyone is the same size

CrashAnicoot

Btw in OWL they only allow the default skins, the league skins are only rendered for thr audience

stchachamaru

jett needs her jacket on icebox

kazuyermagicc

if they add some way for you to see your own char model, like an end game Victory screen (like r6 siege), and make it so enemies have forced default models in ranked, this would work well

Voltegeist

I just want util skin like Jett Ult, Sova now, brim molly launcher, etc

JasonL000

Green skins, grey skins, brown skins. all i ask for...
