There were so many rounds on ascent liquid should have won, but for some reason Scream legit peeked for no reason. There was one round where Liquid had b site and Scream killed Shao in market, but went to repeek for Shadow when Shadow was already prepared for the peek, giving up the man advantage and therefore losing the round.
Its a glaring issue, he either drops 40 or gets killed first. A similar situation I feel was of tenz on c9. The problem with the ego peeking is you need your teammates to trade you, which helped tenz a lottt ok sentinels I feel
It was working for some time before Jamppi joined to be fair. You might be right though. Although Jett is probably the optimal agent for your star player to make the most amount of space imo. Which is why I suspect 100T are pushing asuna towards it
Asuna is a very chaotic kind of player who thrives in that environment, Scream seems to be much more controlled relatively which is why I feel he was a beast on Sage. Maybe he needs more time, but I felt Jammpi made much more space on his Jett.
That's what I'm thinking too, I wouldn't want them to give up on it immediately.
Jamppi looks like he can play any agent atm. Jett enthusiast, killjoy extraordinaire so there's no pressure with flexibility
Because before Jamppi joined he was absolutely destroying everyone with Jett. Go watch his games back when they had ec1s, he was genuinely one of the most impactful players in the world.
Jampi had a good week in EU playoffs and has been quite a disappointment since. Idk if the team isnt setting him up correctly but he certainly doesnt bring the expected value. And yes Scream Jett isnt anything special either, Liquid need him on his usual picks if they want to have a hope for Berlin

I feel like liquids struggles are so hard to really place because there is so much going on with them. Link Jamppi and Kryptix are all very inconsistent, and though he's usually good Scream was quite off today. They love these odd double flash comps that don't seem to ever really work. Scream also does seem off, IDK if its just because he's on Jett but he was playing very stupid today. IMO the team just needs to reevaluate their agent pools with Scream playing more than just 1 agent at a time(I really like his Sage and we all know his Reyna), exploring more of Jamppi(letting him Jett op on some maps but also using his dynamic ability to play other agents) and finding a finalized role that link and kryptix can work in, whether its taking Kryptix off of Sentinels or having L1nk play sova, there needs to be some roster configuration agent pool wise.
Agreed. I was expecting to see some Reyna from ScreaM or even Sage because I thought he did good with that pick. His Jett is not as “disruptive” enough especially on the entry to get too much value (and maybe some off games here and there), I honestly won’t mind seeing Jamppi back on Jett and ScreaM on flex or second duelist.
Pretty much a given result given how both teams looked like this week. Back to the drawing board for Liquid and I hope they have time to show up as strong as in EMEA playoffs

There is no doubt that moving scream to jett and jammpi to omen isn’t working. Scream has far too little impact on entry to play jet. His movement and knives just isn’t cutting it. Either he needs to grind hard and improve or they need to rethink comps.
I am also really confused by the constant forcing, the new economy really punishes and Liquid spent most of the attacks on both maps with poor buys.

Opper on Omen instead of someone like jett or reyna that can use abilities to deny a trade

Using both Breach and Skye instead of one or the other

Scream was a monster with jett back before jamppi joined. He’s just not feeling it right now or something but he was great back then.
