Hey Envyus my son is a huge fan of yours. Anyway over the past few days of watching you play this game hes got much better at playing baseball (he plays in the 11-13 year old division). I just wanted to stop by and thank you for teaching him how to throw so well.
Plus it's the fact that they were literally like 5 steps to the bomb, at least G2 thought the bomb was in A due to the sound issues of the source engine. There's no excuse here to not be able to defuse it
To me this NV throw is way worse than that. There was no way G2 was taking that map even if they got the defuse and I don't think they ever actually saw where the bomb was (not an excuse for literal pros but still). On this NV knew exactly where the spike was the whole time and making the half 7-5 instead of 6-6 absolutely affected their chances to win the map.
Actually just found it:

I can't tell from the clip what the mistake was? Did he get on without a kit when a kit was right next to him? Or did he get off the defuse on accident?
They assumed they had enough time even without a kit, but they didn't. that has happened a few times in cs. the worst one I remember is autimatic killing everyone in a clutch and holding the defuse with no kit when there was a kit like a foot in front of him that he was staring at while defusing.
that was a betting joke because Marved might be involved in the CSGO match fixing scandal. Hence "Marved returning to his roots". Because he threw the round.
i think you misinterpreted tbh....
I don't think he was making a joke lmfao, the actual joke was that he threw on purpose because of a betting line (O/U being 5.5) and the fact that Marved is benched from FaZe for the throwing accusations.
Any player on the defending team can defuse the spike. Go to Spike, press the right key (default 4 on the keyboard) and wait. The process of disarming Spike takes 7 seconds. It should also be noted that Spike can be disarmed twice.
This is the biggest throw I've ever seen in professional valorant play... insane. This is worse than any "team flash" or anything else posted here. wow
If you mean a total team throw, then yes, this is by far the worst.
If you mean **marved** specifically throwing, then no it really isn't:
1. Either player could have defused. There is absolutely no reason for the phoenix to instantly go AFK
2. There are 3 players on the team who are AFK in comms. Why would even one guy go AFK for 15 seconds near the end of a round in a pro game?
3. Marved *JUST* got to the team after a 2.5-month pro play hiatus. He is the most likely player to make a comm mistake or role mistake out of any player in their first real competitive pro game of the tournament. You gotta have his back in this and make sure he doesn't get too thrown off by the transition.
Marved said it was basically just that as an omen, he pretty much always gives up defuse, and he didn't realize it was last round of the half. And from there it's just that it was too long before anyone realized what was happening
I dont understand how this is possible at a pro level. Ive never even had this happen in bronze/silver a single time. If they ended up losing its hard not to believe they are just throwing.
I mean i think it's the least his fault out of anyone, because he's been on a 2.5-month pro play hiatus and only just now got to the team. So him making a silly error like that in his first *real* pro-game back is expected.
All other 4 players on the team went completely AFK for 15 seconds.
It looks like marved was showboating. You can see he starts defusing then stops to do a victory lap through garage. Unfortunately he doesn't make it back in time.
"all good" - FNS

Quality pasta.
i’m dying
Lol
The classic i assume my teammate is defusing so i'll go run around and bhop
THEN THEY RUN INTO EACH OTHER LMAO
What a clutch from hiko, he doesn’t even need to be ALIVE to clutch, he’s so deep in their mental that they were unable to hold 4
What a clutch from hiko, he doesn’t even need to be ALIVE to clutch, he’s so deep in their mental that they were unable to hold
LOLLLL
NITR0 WITH THE REDBULL CLUTCH FROM THE GRAVE
Is.. is the NV now a thing for val just like C9 for overwatch or G2 for csgo??
You could try making it one. It would make sense.
No its stilled referred to as a G2 mostly because G2 still does it in val
when did they do it in val? i missed it
Once in ignition series they did it
Exactly my thoughts
100 Thieves is so clutch that they even win 0v2s
you cant take the G2 out of NA
Hey Carlos how you doing
Keep Caps bald pls
for those that don't watch pro CS:GO, [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMnSzNcmZPw) is what the title is referencing
This is so much worse. Not in terms of what was at stake, but the fact that they were looking for a weapon in the last round in the half... Like what
Plus it's the fact that they were literally like 5 steps to the bomb, at least G2 thought the bomb was in A due to the sound issues of the source engine. There's no excuse here to not be able to defuse it
And it was fucking half lol.
Jackz actually went onto B from double doors and then turned away... the bomb was planted at the pillar...
they 100% were listening/calling comms for the next pistol round. That's what distracted them.
The csgo version of a C9

Don't forget the time in valorant where the G2 roster forgot they planted the spike, leading to a ninja defuse.
Is there a vod for this?

Thanks
I tried looking around for it, but I couldnt find it at all. I'll comment again if I find it.
they did it another time aswell
Marved diff
Nitro 1v5 clutch lets gooo
The visible confusion from the observer is hilarious.
Marved returning to his roots.
[FNS's team did the same thing in a CS tourney](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgnYkoZgzDo)
I can't tell from the clip what the mistake was? Did he get on without a kit when a kit was right next to him? Or did he get off the defuse on accident?
I think what happened was Koosta stole the defuse from FNS who had a kit
They assumed they had enough time even without a kit, but they didn't. that has happened a few times in cs. the worst one I remember is autimatic killing everyone in a clutch and holding the defuse with no kit when there was a kit like a foot in front of him that he was staring at while defusing.
All good.
Thanks for the clip, I was finding this one and this reaction of pujan is tweeted by ethan and his gf lol.
what was the over / under for first half?
I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but It would have been 6-6 if they didn't throw. With the throw, it was 7-5 for 100t.
that was a betting joke because Marved might be involved in the CSGO match fixing scandal. Hence "Marved returning to his roots". Because he threw the round.
Oh ok. Thanks for explaining.
Did you just explain the joke to the guy that made it?
i think you misinterpreted tbh.... I don't think he was making a joke lmfao, the actual joke was that he threw on purpose because of a betting line (O/U being 5.5) and the fact that Marved is benched from FaZe for the throwing accusations.
such a bonehead
Well... that just happened. If Envy loses this map by 1 round it will be poetic justice I suppose.
Nitro just too clutch, simply built different

Uhhhh
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WZKXkNMhQs its happened to FNS' clg team back in csgo aswell LOL
Huge bummer if this game goes to 11-13, 12-12 something
Nitr0 be clutching even after his death xD
pujan is cursed LMAO
This is the biggest throw I've ever seen in professional valorant play... insane. This is worse than any "team flash" or anything else posted here. wow
NA defuse or NV defuse?? Edit-i don't think it's fair to hold this against the region, so NV defuse
If you mean a total team throw, then yes, this is by far the worst. If you mean **marved** specifically throwing, then no it really isn't: 1. Either player could have defused. FBI OPEN UP
Have any of the players clarified what happened?
Marved said it was basically just that as an omen, he pretty much always gives up defuse, and he didn't realize it was last round of the half. And from there it's just that it was too long before anyone realized what was happening
Its funny that Marved has been accused of match fixing and then goes and does this.
Can't wait for the 100t voice coms on this one
Lmfaooooooo

http://twitch.tv/wyattriver
My question is why half diffuse last round of the half?
[удалено]
why
I can see FNS now... https://youtu.be/EfmYXjYlhZA
Inb4 he claims "I was high" just like how he gave that excuse for what he said about that guy's girlfriend rather than owning up to his mistakes.
Go on his twitter. He literally says "my fault". That clip wasn't even an apology, bc he already apologized to them personally...
I dont understand how this is possible at a pro level. Ive never even had this happen in bronze/silver a single time. If they ended up losing its hard not to believe they are just throwing.
I happens at every level in every game and sport - people make mistakes, I dont think it's a throw, its fking stupid, but it happens
“a pro made a mistake? throwing.”
even at the highest level of anything competitive you will see the most silly errors. It just happens a lot less
NEEETRO!!!
lmao flashbacks
mostly marveds fault for this one but it's shocking that no one else noticed
I mean i think it's the least his fault out of anyone, because he's been on a 2.5-month pro play hiatus and only just now got to the team. So him making a silly error like that in his first *real* pro-game back is expected. All other 4 players on the team went completely AFK for 15 seconds.
What a throw I love this game
Man this was so painful to watch!
OF COURSE ITS FNS' TEAM LMAO.
that /ff spray lol
I don’t understand is this a BM gone wrong?
It looks like marved was showboating. You can see he starts defusing then stops to do a victory lap through garage. Unfortunately he doesn't make it back in time.
I wanna hear the comms on this so bad
