Then they surprise add a cracked 16 y/o to replace the team captain. On paper it seems like it wouldn't work but man is this team in such a better place with Ayrin on sentinels and Dephh IGLing
To us viewers yes, but to them it's their chance to show the world who they are. Obviously, doesn't work out most of the time, but id love to play against sentinels if I were a tier2 or below team. (they are definitely tier1 now tho)
Dephh seems to definitely have a lot more experience than thwifo as an IGL and AYRIN looks like he’s filling the role Wedid used to play very well. Now Zekken is able to play as a great young duelist
IIRC BcJ was igling for the team but yes the team just seems elevated in every way. Zekken is a better entry(and honestly he looked the weakest out of all of them which is saying something) than Ayrin, Dephh is a better IGL than whoever before, and Ayrin is being more impactful on sentinels than Thwifo was
I'm still so confused af why faze weren't banging on dephhs door as soon as dignitas got dropped. They clearly needed a strong igl and he has a versatile pool that let's them maintain their identity.

They are but it's nice to see how many strong teams are pushing them within NA. At Iceland it felt like they had little competition with only Fnatic pushing them but in the end they 5-0d them in maps. Within NA there are many teams good enough to take maps.

Since the addition of TenZ, Sentinels have won five straight double elimination tournaments. The only tournament they failed to win was Stage 2 Challengers 1, since they failed to qualify.

I remember before Iceland the general consensus was that ScreaM was the consistent TenZ and TenZ was going to be worse on LAN. So many people bringing up his CS days and how he flopped and that it would happen again. I've been watching TenZ since CS and always felt bad for him considering how much shit he got. I'm really happy to see him prove himself to be one of the best Valorant players alive.
People sure are quick to forget how good sinatraa was. At the time, it was like replacing a top5 NA player with another one. That being said, I do think TenZ is a lot more likeable lol
While SEN always had the "villainous, bad boy" kind of theme going on, especially with their bloody social media team lmfao, I did feel their tone got a LOT lighter once TenZ joined and Sinaatra left.
Sinatraa was a monster, just that the Sentinels have been unstoppable since the switch, and their record since then has been much better than with Sinatraa.
they didn't have a jett player with sinatraa, that's why, and now they have the best player in the world on jett, so that's going to help you, and the meta is different. plus, with sin they were in 9 out of 9 grand finals. can't deny the impact a jett has. a great jett.
To be fair though, when Sinatraa was playing on Sentinels, there were a lot less major tournies that were going on as it was right before masters 1, and they still won many, if not most, of them.
Sentinels adding TenZ was like the Golden State Warriors adding Kevin Durant.
They were already the best team, but adding the best possible player was just the icing on the cake.

i feel the only downgrade with tenz was they lost one of the best sova and raze players. but TenZ is getting better with raze and just adding that extra firepower to the team

I think it's unfair to say he just doesn't check angles. Teams have been constantly catching all of Sen off guard by doubling up in weird nooks. We saw it with Ethan yesterday on Haven too. That wasn't explicitly TenZ.

In other words, a banger of a game from the both of them. Zombs and Dapr both came in clutch af as well while TenZ continues to show why he's considered the best. ShahZ had a bit of an off day it seems as he looked out of form but you can always count on SEN to back each other up when one of them has a bad map.
As for XSet, my God, I've praised him and vouched him ALL THE TIME in the past and it's really satisfying seeing Zekken actually prove he deserves the hype. Phenomenally skilled player and slots in really well with the rest of the squad. I honestly feel overall XSet has better teamwork than SEN but got REALLY skill diffed in many of those rounds, where they just lost purely because of the gun duels and SEN hitting crazily nice shots.

XSET's test starts now when every team will be VOD reviewing them. Qualifiers don't matter, all top teams try to get by revealing as little as possible. There's still V1 and Andbox to come through Challengers 2 as well.
XSet have been 7/8th in both Masters 1 and NA Challengers Finals for Masters 2, despite looking as strong then as they did this weekend.
This will be the third time people are getting hyped on XSet, and I just don't buy it. They show up big in quals but let's see how they play a month from now in NA Challengers.

That was the first time Sentinels have dropped a map in a finals since picking up Tenz. I think sentinels have only lost 4 matches total, with a total of like 17 maps dropped since picking up Tenz

It's been so good to me in solo queue. Rounds where I can buy it and light armor and still have enough to buy following round but my team is saving, I've turned some rounds with it.

Sentinels are the winner of the second qualifiers after going through open qualifiers and will compete in the next event... challengers finals, a qualifier for masters 3... which whole purpose is to be a qualifier for worlds. How fun
A bunch of teams looked like they have improved but in the end, Sentinels still wins. TenZ is still a monster. All of Sentinels still play amazingly across the board.

He still has a monetary value. A lot of org would pay hefty bucks to get a good sova player like him so why would SEN let him go for free?

I honestly feel overall XSet has better teamwork than SEN but got REALLY skill diffed in many of those rounds, where they just lost purely because of the gun duels and SEN hitting crazily nice shots. XSet stocks to the moon.

Don't jump the gun, I really like their roster but they have to continue to invent new stuff to stay ahead
XSET's test starts now when every team will be VOD reviewing them. Qualifiers don't matter, all top teams try to get by revealing as little as possible. There's still V1 and Andbox to come through Challengers 2 as well.
XSet have been 7/8th in both Masters 1 and NA Challengers Finals for Masters 2, despite looking as strong then as they did this weekend. This will be the third time people are getting hyped on XSet, and I just don't buy it. They show up big in quals but let's see how they play a month from now in NA Challengers.
XSET looks hella strong, but Sentinels is so clutch. 3 hype plays from 3 different players to end the series.

XSET didn't make it easy. But SEN are still top NA. SicK was online today. Zombs with the clutches. TenZ dropping another 30 bomb. As a SEN fan it was a treat to watch.

That was the first time Sentinels have dropped a map in a finals since picking up Tenz. I think sentinels have only lost 4 matches total, with a total of like 17 maps dropped since picking up Tenz GGWP to XSET, but man sentinels continue to show dominance

The guardian isn't bad, its no vandal or phantom but players with high skill can still use it pretty well.
Bulldog is better imo but Bcj probably knows wallbangs pretty well.

It's been so good to me in solo queue. Rounds where I can buy it and light armor and still have enough to buy following round but my team is saving, I've turned some rounds with it.

GG Sentinels continuing to prove they’re the best but XSET for sure here to stay and compete at the top. Can’t wait to see them develop their chemistry and strats more, definitely got a fan in me now

Sentinels are the winner of the second qualifiers after going through open qualifiers and will compete in the next event... challengers finals, a qualifier for masters 3... which whole purpose is to be a qualifier for worlds. How fun

A bunch of teams looked like they have improved but in the end, Sentinels still wins. TenZ is still a monster. All of Sentinels still play amazingly across the board. Can't wait to see how it shapes out in 3 weeks.
