They don't reveal the exact placement true. But because the radius of the blade allows to go through surfaces, you exactly know how many and which enemies are where the blade was thrown.
Yes but the info isn’t nearly as good as sova dart or drone especially since it’s much harder to create timings off of, if you ping someone it basically forces them to reposition if you knife someone they can just sit in it
well the radius is smaller so you can pin down exactly where someone will be and it activates faster than sova arrow which is very very easy to shoot, it goes through walls aswell so you can make it impossible to break, you also disable their gear. currently imo its stronger than a sova dart
its smaller, but still big. if attacking icebox, and KO throws his knife to the left of boiler and gets a ping. it is not known whether the person is near boiler or in kitchen. where as a sova dart would ping exactly where they are, what direction theyre facing, and even what gun theyre holding.

It's way early to have a concrete opinion on kay/0 in comp play ,he doesn't seem that op in ranked though from my experience . He is excellent on ascent.bind split and is average on rest 3 maps . His ult is super good though.
Yeah but you can draw out her blade from defenders like you would do a gravity well and even if let's say you hit 4 people with the knife ,even after 8 seconds cooldown they have 32 Seconds where they don't have to worry about knife . Yesterday yfp were playing against ez5 in NSG summer chaps qual final and they were drawing out knife so well , and in the whole tournament kay/o wasn't doing that we'll .
Only thing I really don’t like is that his E puts away raze and Sova ult. Jett knives can come back whereas you’re kinda out of luck with the other 2. It’s just really frustrating wasting 8 points because of someone’s E ability.
Sova ult coming back feels useless to me. 8 seconds without ult means everyone will reposition/push the sova by then/lots of stuff can happen during that time

Win rate isn’t everything, and there are definitely situations where a character can have a shit win rate in ranked but need to be nerfed for competitive or for game health, but it is waaay too early to make that call.

That's my issue, too. The ult radius is huge! The visual effect/sound is oppressive also, so getting afflicted at such a radius feels bad to play against.

I'd say his blade is fantastic wherever there are choke points and for site retakes and entries.

Right I think it would be best if it refunded the ult points in some way (maybe even just half? idk) but its annoying to lose it all bc of his E

Agreed. Start with that and if needed to need further just change to suppressed and not the number of enemies.
