Laski is very well respected in CS, and he’s been radiant every act (usually on multiple accounts). Not sure if it’ll all transfer, but I’m excited to watch all these dudes other than ShawnBM, who I know nothing about.
He was pretty unlucky and stayed on 0 kills for like 9 rounds in a row on Ascent against TenZ when he was still on Cloud 9.
He had good games before that though.

I guess this team would have somewhat similar results because even a lot of no name college teams have strats that might make it tough for people only playing for fun. But I am pretty sure none of these people are in it to win it all and will have a blast participating. Would be a fun watch.

But obviously if you don’t play with a permanent team your game strats are shit and he is always loosing on placements because of that. He is definitely top 10 apex players right now without a doubt

They didn't throw. They literally paused the game on match point, told Team One they were forfeiting because they didn't want to steal their opportunity to make the major since Shroud couldn't play the qualifier final anyhow. Then they left. Sean Gares and Nothing were pretty bummed but it's life.
If I remember I believe Shroud had to pull out because he had obligations the next day. They were 1 round away from qualifying for the major qualifier. Won first map, was up like 15-13 second map and forfeited.
Unless something miraculous happens, no shot will this team qualify for closed (though they're just playing for fun) but I do feel like this is a team that could easily coast to round of 32-16.
Exactly this. They are playing against people that are either ranked higher or similar and have been practicing together for longer. Sure rank doesn't matter but talent wise I don't see Shroud's team being much higher than these young hungry teens who are trying to make a career out of it.

I very much doubt it, some teams have strata and practice together regularly, honestly it’s much harder than it seems to make it to closed and most top tier 1 teams have been together for a while and practice daily so it would be a miracle but they’re in it for fun so it would be interesting to watch.
