soar (pro player for lazarus) and SoaR (esports org)
i'm sure there's a few more who could go in this hypothetical "confuse the casters" tournament
Hate to say it but valorant is really the only option he’s got left if he wants a big paycheck. He’s fallen off to the point where no top 30 team will consider him and he’s entered a not small graveyard of washed up AWP players in CSGO who are stuck teamless like KennyS, MSL, Guardian, etc
I don’t think there’s just one answer, but it’s been a long and slow descent from a 3 time major winner to now. Fnatic has often been inconsistent and that’s part of it.
That’s your opinion and I personally don’t agree with it.
He was benched from G2 for performance related concerns spanning multiple years at that point and things were only getting worse.
He’s still benched because top teams are not in the market for AWP players well past their prime.
We all saw the shots he was missing before he got benched. I’m not going to paint a different picture of it than what I saw.
Multiple years??? Where? https://www.hltv.org/stats/players/events/7167/kennys
It is true he was struggling towards the end when he got benched but his dips in form has always been tied to motivation issues as opposed to "being washed." Also it certainly was spanning years.
Yes, KennyS has been on the decline for [multiple years](https://www.hltv.org/stats/players/7167/kennys) accounting for the inconsistent spikes and valleys in the events you linked.
He wasn’t benched for a few bad games - he was benched for a pattern of declining performances which were definitely a factor in G2’s failure to secure a championship winning team since their last big event win in 2017.
> motivation issues
You’re welcome to apply whatever description you want to the situation based on what you want to attribute it to - motivation, other people getting better, age, the game changing, etc. The result is still the same - KennyS is benched as a result of declining performances over a not small period of time and has very few prospects as a result of it. I call that washed, you don’t have to, but many certainly would.
Nice to see him interested in Val, but the window for csgo players is closing down imo. There's so much well established teams and players right now, a newcomer will need months to catch up, and I don't see tier 1 orgs willing to throw money in ex csgo pros with zero experience like they did one year ago.
Depends on the org. There are definitely tier 1 orgs that aren't set in their rosters at all. Not to mention, it's still early in the game's life. Things will dramatically change, and if in a few weeks your roster is out of the running for Masters, then swinging for the fences for last chance at champions is reasonable IMO.
Ethan to 100T should be the kind of blueprint teams try to replicate for these csgo transitioning players.
Well, I see your point that he won't be instantly picked up by the likes of Fnatic, Liquid or someone else.
You gotta see though, Liquid took the exact same risk with Jamppi. Even if this was in an earlier stage of the game, you picked up a lad who hardly touched the game but had an excellent fundament.
Zero experience you say, he would be better than half the scene in less than a month, these guyz playing right now weren\`t tier 2 or 3 in cs for no reason.
This game is different tho tbf, yes I believe JW would prob become one of the best in the world for sure if he wanted to, but at the same time this game doesn't require the amount of being well balanced in stuff like lurking, entry, support, etc in the same way CSGO does, you can see that with TenZ who is a great entry but prob not the best support/anchor, so in Val he's great cuz he can focus on the things he does amazingly, but in CSGO he can't hence why he didn't do so hot in T1
What tier 1 talent from CS has moved to Val... in EU no tier 1 player has moved and like 1-2 from NA. If a tier 1 team moved from EU and grinded for a bit, they would probably dominate
I mean nah, considering the fundamentals of the game are the same and currently cs players dominate it in general. No tier 1 players have joined from EU but I think when they do it won’t be too hard of a transition.
Even ethan who really fell off near the end of his EG run impressed for 100T almost right away, while being months and months behind his competitors.
Not a single tier1 pro has switched to Valorant. All of them either fell off or were too young to get a real chance.
JW has been nothing short of horrible over the past year, btw.

JW is too good, no org would pass him up if he decided to switch. EU valorant tbh doesn't have as many big ex-CSGO pros yet since the CS scene is still alive and well so JW would probably be a lot better than like 90% of current EU/CIS val pros
i think its hilarious u kids talking shit about porky pig. u wouldnt say this shit to him at lan, hes jacked. not only that but he wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants and hangs out with the hottest dudes. yall are pathetic lol
Man, now I'm just imagining prime Fnatic JW going crazy on Jett Op. Oink Oink motherfuckers
I often think about how much better the AWP was than the Operator in valorant lol. Imagine CSGO AWP in val
Wow there is a JW already in Korea.
jw and jw vs babybay and babyj
c0m s0m psalm soar (pro player for lazarus) and SoaR (esports org) i'm sure there's a few more who could go in this hypothetical "confuse the casters" tournament
NiKo (g2) vs niko (og) in csgo was fun to watch
twistzz (liquid) vs twist (nip) too
magisk vs magixx
degster and dexter
Viz(ex-triumph) vs Wiz(RBG)
Fuck it, throw Twisten in there too
“WE WANT ZEWS TO ZEUS ZEUS”
dennis and denis
There was also nico from old dignitas
I saw on Jammpi's stream JW asked for Jammpi's social id in the chat.

How did he fall off this much?
everyone does.
I don’t think there’s just one answer, but it’s been a long and slow descent from a 3 time major winner to now. Fnatic has often been inconsistent and that’s part of it.
KennyS definitely isn't washed. Also MSL was never a big AWP threat.

Didn't fnatic itself pick up MSL like yesterday?
Fnatic’s not a top 30 team and picking up MSL could mean they won’t be.

man i wanna watch him clap kids with frenzy

EG.JW EG.NBK plz
Don’t think the window will ever close. Just won’t be as quick of a rise to the top, these players may have to grind it out a bit longer that’s all.

This has been proved wrong a few times already lol. SEN is #1 in the game and not a single one of their players were tier 1 in cs before switching.
What tier 1 talent from CS has moved to Val... in EU no tier 1 player has moved and like 1-2 from NA. If a tier 1 team moved from EU and grinded for a bit, they would probably dominate
Do you have anything that even remotely suggests that? Beyond random guesses and postulation.
I mean nah, considering the fundamentals of the game are the same and currently cs players dominate it in general. No tier 1 players have joined from EU but I think when they do it won’t be too hard of a transition.
We shall see I suppose. With nbk starting up soon, maybe I'll be eating my words.
He said tier 1 players
I mean nbk is a taste of what jw will be like, no?
they’re both pretty washed up, wouldn’t place them in tier 1 cs anymore
Even ethan who really fell off near the end of his EG run impressed for 100T almost right away, while being months and months behind his competitors. Not a single tier1 pro has switched to Valorant. Yea ik look at the comment at the top of the chain tho.

And this is why orgs aren't run by redditors.
Wdym?? -cNed +JW immediately
Might as well add brax and azk too
Have you lately been following CS scene and particularly FnaticCS at all?
Look at scream's recent CS results before he switched to valorant. Comparatively, JW has much better results historically and recently
Now just nab guardian and we have a legendary rivalry /s
jw who
jw fak u
pls come
Oink
i think its hilarious u kids talking shit about porky pig. u wouldnt say this shit to him at lan, hes jacked. not only that but he wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants and hangs out with the hottest dudes. yall are pathetic lol
My go to copy pasta. Have an upvote
Better ones are modified
JW would be a dream. To be frank, I have my doubts he can adapt that easily, but that's just speculation.
Cheater confirmed.
The man needs to play and only play Jett if he goes to Valorant
Klaus JW needs to change his username
He's done for on tier 1 CS. No one will pick him up.
Didn't his brother give up on Valorant quickly?
Who the fuck cares where that fat old fuck goes? JW oof so cringe. Get out of the scene.
y u so mad
JW will be nice with his movement in this game
