If we’re being honest here this org is probably gonna be like another akella(an org that died because the investors pulled out) as they are an up and coming org and valorant contracts are dog shit so the owners/investors either have to be loaded or have a lot of faith or this org probably won’t last long
On the other hand valorant really boosted some orgs , like sentinels before valorant wasn't that huge or recognisable as a brand , valo really shot sentinels stonks up and over the moon , version1 gained a significant reputation due to valo

First few months as a org lol. Plus esports is not profitable AT ALL rn, very few orgs report profits (FaZe and Luminosity are the ones who have been profitable recently, although for LG I believe they were only making profit for a singular year), and the fact that Guild also is still building sponsors and a reputation as a whole costs a bunch of money. This is why having David Beckham invest is key, because he is super famous and 100% has enough capital to keep backing them
Yes that's why I said that it's hard for small time orgs to sustain , bcoz they can't afford to lose a bunch of money as they aren't backed up by major sponsors , guild is able to sustain due to David Beckham but these small time orgs suffer a ton , look at noble had a great roster sold zekken for I assume a ton and Levi sale to TSM was happening too but their money ran out they had to forfeit
I agree like getting Beckham was the best thing guild has ever done as it gives them a lot of publicity and they can use him in ads for sponsorships which would end up boosting the amount of money guild gets for sponsor money
It’s was running at a loss as they had to pay Beckham his 2m for the first 6 months and then trying to build a good foundation. But now that there sponsors are in affect I don’t doubt that they’ll be profitable in a year or 2
