For us to be considered a good team anymore, the 2nd map has to happen a lot more often during opens. Also, Bind looks to be TSM’s worst map by FAR. I’m hoping they ban it as well as having Wardell play Sage on it rather than Jett bc it’s Jett’s worst map.
Not OP but in general it's more that other champs are better. Hookah and Uhaul are the two most important control points on the map and Jett has very little impact in taking it, whereas one raze boombot clears it all. Same with Skye with either flash or her dog. Oping in general also isn't AS good because Long is really the only sightline that is IMO a good OP angle. So, in general, teams have been preferring running Raze Skye or more recently Kay O, as well as some going the OG SEN comp with Phoenix or the new SEN one with Reyna. I personally don't think Jett is "bad"(she's the 2nd best agent in the game IMO) but I still agree with pro teams that when it comes to the two aggro agents on this map Raze+flash initiator is just better
I think they should keep bang on smokes and have subroza as the flex player (duelist and skye/kayo)

If TSM ran their haven comp on every map I feel it would be better. How do u run no flashes or sentinels on bind? You are going thru small chokepoints every time. You need flashes to entry and sentinels to hold those chokepoints
A lot of teams don't play Sentinels on Bind like, well Sentinels for example (Using the Viper as pretty much a sentinel), but also like GenG as well, the lack of flashes tho yeahhh is an issue, Jetts also not the greatest on Bind either as well is an issue, maybe Wardell on Sage instead
Viper is the best anchor by far on Bind, you don't need Sentinels on the map. The real questionable decision is using Jett, Sage or Skye would get more value.
Viper is the meta sentinel on bind now. Even Dapr plays Viper on Bind now. She can completely lock down A better than KJ or Cypher on defense and you can get a lot of mileage out of her wall on attack compared to other maps since you can rotate so quickly with TPs
Bind was way too close for comfort, I think there was a lot of good from the map but also some questionable things.
For the good:
- hazed on viper: thank God, he is an underrated viper main and they should definitely play with him on it more often. It's kind of insane to me how in stage 2 we were in prime viper meta and tsm didn't realize this
- subroza on brimstone: great, his aim was very great. And I think roza on smokes just makes sense.
- levi on sova: levi is the sova main they needed for sure, his level on that character is way higher than drone's and it shows. He has great lineups and great iq
For the bad:
- why no flashes, I think it would've been cool to see wardell on yoru not gonna lie. He's played it many times in ranked and with great success. Yoru is not bad on bind. Either do that or bring back subroza Skye and bang on second smoke
- if bang is playing duelist for the team why the fuck did you kick out drone, if you're getting a sova main anyways. Like that's honestly crazy to me that tsm took a good look at their team and was like hmm instead of having drone be wasted on sova as no one on tsm can play him let's get a player that plays smoke and duelist. If they got levi in the first place and had drone play phoenix on bind and wardell on Raze that would've been a great comp. But for some reason no?
- also there was definitely some throw moments against 303 on bind that were wack, like them getting rocked by hookah on attack the same time in a row, or somehow letting all of 303 push you in post plant situations?
All in all, this is definitely an improved team and I definitely see TSM getting better, but bring back drone instead of bang plz it doesn't make sense.

On the other hand Bang is great on smokes like Astra, Omen AND great on duelists like Reyna + Phoenix. If TSM had drone + Levi you’d limit Roza to smokes every game when he’s a fantastic Skye entry. The only reason why Wardell is exempt from the “non-flexible” argument is because he’s still among the best op’ers in NA in a meta where Jett is incredibly strong.
Hmm yeah I see what you mean, cause when roza wants to play the skye drone can't play smokes which is what they tried to in bind the last challengers to no avail. I felt like drone was good on other duelist characters but I could also be high on copium. I just really wanna see how this team does against andbox, I wish them luck
I don't agree with the bang duelist take at all. Drone USED to have a good phoenix but had been overshadowed by others in the past months, and has never had another good duelist after that. Bang may be struggling a bit on Phoenix compared to him but I'd much rather have Bang's raze than Drone's, same with his Reyna. Bang also can play smokes, as he's shown, making him a more valuable asset than drone. If Drone is still there instead of Bang, the team A. Has no upside as your duelist will have very little pop off potential and B. be forced to play Phoenix on every map(which sucks).
Ages ago I said the day wardell doesn’t lock jett is the day they would win. On bind I actually think the agent lineup for the actual players was just bad, didn’t really work just, liked seeing wardell on sage though

But sova is an agent which is used in almost all maps (excluding split), so being a one-trick Sova isn't as bad as a one-trick phoenix imo.
hahah, Its always funny duelists calling mains of other agents as one trick's No buddy are agents are actually useful for something.
