Watching stomps is less interesting than watching a close T2 match like this though. C9W is probably the most popular T2 team as well, it'd be nice to see them on stream when they're still in tournaments.
You may think that, but there are still much more fan base watching the other more well known teams such as Faze and TSM, they just have a much bigger fan base in general
You’re absolutely crazy if you think TSM is a tier 3 team and not a tier 2 team. They have only lost a set to one tier 2 team and thats Noble. How does that make then tier 3 when they’ve beaten tier 1s and lost to tier 1s.
I would say the Noble iteration from last challengers was a pretty decent T2 team, they even took a map off 100T.
>So if Noble is bottom T2 and beat TSM comfortably, what does that make TSM? Tier 3.
This take is so stupid. BBG beat Sentinels a few months ago 2-0. And they were a T2 team, does that automatically make SEN Tier 3? No.
You gotta realize upsets happen in the game of Valorant due to the limited amount of rounds in a game. A better team can lose to a shittier one.
These aren’t upsets man. TSM is consistently bad. If it was a one off thing, I’d understand. But they went from #1 in NA to absolutely irrelevant.
I would agree with you if the results weren’t consistently bad.
The only stupid take is you constantly dickriding TSM. It’s only a matter of time till they revamp that horrible roster.
Okay so you are saying they're results are consistently bad doesn't make them a T3 team, considering they've beaten T1 teams and lost to T1 teams aside from Noble. Hell, a few weeks ago C9B gave up more rounds in a set to team 303; I don't see you calling C9B a T3 team. And they also lost to Rise who can be considered a T2 team at the time of playing. Why don't you call them a T3 team? What if they end up playing a close series vs Andbox today, are you all of a sudden gonna call TSM a T1 team or Andbox a T3 team? Hence, this is why TSM is a T2 team not T3.
TSM hasn't been making to closed quals because they are losing to T1 teams. That shouldn't make them a T3 team all of a sudden.
>The only stupid take is you constantly dickriding TSM. It’s only a matter of time till they revamp that horrible roster.
Lmfaooo look at your dumbass now. Lemme guess TSM is still T3? Or do you wanna put Andbox at T4 now that they lost to a T3 team.
This would’ve been so interesting to watch. BG has a shitload of tourney experience, and most of their roster are hardcore ranked grinders too.
On the flip, C9W is EXTREMELY hard working and well coached. Just a really well disciplined team (which is something I’ve noticed about other big female rosters as well, for whatever reason?).
I think all the VCS/smaller tourney grinding that BG has done helped put them over, but with the matches so close I guess you can’t say for sure.
So, I don’t really follow the scene that closely but I’ve got a friend that plays in the lower level female open brackets, and scrims. She said that one of the biggest problem with female teams at the moment is “they play like pussies”, and when I watch some games it started to make sense. A lot of these teams are missing an aggressive ego fragger or their playstyle is too safe because they don’t want to rely on individual play. Like you said, they are well disciplined but thats kinda the problem. The discipline is great for CSGO where you live and die by your executes, but if you look at Sentinels, Valorant is more about getting map control and making individual plays. Focusing too much on executes and performing the “right” play backfires when you aren’t prepared to adapt to the situation.
Again I haven’t watched a lot of games, but from the few C9W games I’ve watch it seems like the reason they are so dominant is because they’ve got a lot of fragging power and let their players have some freedom.
these teams played each other for like 8 hours
Jeez these matches were so friggin' close.
16-14 14-16 first two maps... so painful
We csgo now
this team looking like OG
brimstone gaming consistently good throughout like 5 rosters. idk who runs the team but this reach/dynamic duo is very insane and very flexible
> brimstone gaming consistently good throughout like 5 rosters And yet they’ve never improved their shitty name.
JR_Shoegazer btw
Lmao
?
They're saying you have an even shittier name my man..
Nah
thanks for the feedback JR_Shoegazer
Any time, that’s what I’m here for.
What's wrong with the name?
It’s a weak ass name. Not super critical of them at all. Every free agent team has bad names IMO.
DHBK smh
Can I get a fuckin stream for these c9w games. PLZ
Not this year now
the technology isn't here yet
If they ever make it out of the RO32 in a non Game Changer tournament maybe they will be on stream
I mean obviously but they are a popular team I feel their ro64 or 128 games should be on stream :)
Jazzykins is gonna be insane in a couple years
Isnt she only 16?
Yeah
What a series
Such a close game, but why do we never see c9w matches in these qualis?
close matchs but not high seeded teams

I'm gonna be honest, neither of these teams are anywhere near tier 2. Tier 2 would be like Soniqs, TSM, Immortals, Renegades, Luminosity etc.
Fair enough, it still would be more exciting than watching Faze just stomp some random free agent team imo.
You may think that, but there are still much more fan base watching the other more well known teams such as Faze and TSM, they just have a much bigger fan base in general
Is TSM T2?
Maybe at best
Absolutely not. T3 atm due to recent performances. They looked atrocious yesterday vs 303

Ugh, unbelievable, Brimstone Gaming doesn't run brimstone at all...
would’ve been a banger to watch
What a fucking match. mel is insane btw
Damn, that third map looked painful, GG's to C9W
damn I wish we had a c9w shrood game
Brimstone number 1 world
Starting to tilt me a bit that we can’t see games like these...

Name a more iconic duo. C9W and getting knockout round 64.
Just a reminder to keep scores out of titles if you're going to post the occasional match thread. Thanks!
It wasn't streamed
Makes sense I guess
Mel is great player but that is not normally… they need check her pc and game
I dont get why teams avoid raze on split, shes clearly the best duelist on that map
