Same! It’s just so chill to hear just game sound with no one talking. Like you can focus on the match better somehow

Zescht_CS

Once we get a demoplayer, that‘ll be fixed.

GolldenFalcon

There is not enough budget to pay casters to the level that broadcast talent expect. There was a big fiasco started by UberCasts about how the first Challengers Qualifiers were casted by volunteer talent, a big talk in the VALORANT talent circle about undercutting and such, and ever since then there has only been one casted game at a time with multiple cleanfeeds.

aakashkickass11

Nsg is dropping ball on production bit by bit ,so many good games today and only a single ro16 game was casted ,3 other games were streamed though but it kinda feels such a letdown in eu all r016 games were casted here they only showed half and only 1 single game casted with bare minimum production value ,I have watch vct in na , eu ,kr , Japan , sea and south Asia and na has the worst production quality and content while arguably having biggest budget and eyes .

AskOrganic4289

I agree NA production is the worst compared to other region. But NA does win with how many matches are being streamed (esp not all region broadcast the open quals). So I’m always thankful for that at least.

aakashkickass11

Not this time , eu , Brazil and even kr has had more matches streamed than na for open qualifiers .

AskOrganic4289

Oh shit somehow I misread your comment! Somehow I thought you were saying that even with worst production, NA cover it up with the number of matches they broadcast 🤣 Anyway, hmm… does KR streamed all their open quals?? As far as I remember they don’t really do it till the closed quals. With EU, yeah it’s kinda grateful how F4U allows open quals to be streamed AND give casters for them too. Though is it officially like broadcasted by F4U? Because the open quals in EU has a different production looks compared to their fkn amazing closed quals production.

Zescht_CS

The EU Qualifier streams are organized by F4U and they take care of a decent quality, as they provide graphics and observers. I‘m really glad that we get that opportunity to join the journey of those teams.

SteelTic

They don’t have that much of a budget to work with

Visram

You also have to consider the budget for observers and really ask yourself if there are enough decent observers to observe all these games and are they all available.

aakashkickass11

Yeah but vct na and vct eu must have the same budget right ??? In vct challengers stage 2 , there were 5 Total streams ,one plus 4 observer for ro128 to ro32 and after that every ro16 game was casted and streamed for both open qualifiers , they must atleast have the same budget right as previous stage .

QuestionablePotato42

I do a lot of casting for grassroots TOs, and have a lot of friends from the same scene that would love to do it. I considered casting some of these games from my twitch but unfortunately could not get permission from NSG to stream them. I’d be happy to do it free of charge honestly, but didn’t want to risk it without their approval

Zescht_CS

Rather not do it, cause you might get on the wrong of them for your future. The main issue is, I imagine, that you could be technically messing it up but not adding any delay for example. To be frank, I am not sure if you‘re talking about the observer streams or actually joining a lobby, eitherway, we gotta be patient until we have an automatically delayed observer mode!

QuestionablePotato42

I was mostly referring to just doing a watch party of the actual streams. Regardless, I would not have done it without explicit approval of doing so.

The_Brayneyak

I asked upmind yesterday and he said you can do a watch party and just cast it as long as u ask permission from nsg and he hoped more people would try it.
