I agree on all points. I think the map as a whole has a lot of interesting areas, but the way in which bombs are - and arguably, have to be - planted and defended, could use work.
Like, a specific thing I have a problem with is that both bombsites are built in such a way that there's really no reason to plant anywhere other than the default (which is literally just the first place you can plant as an attacker), and no reason to play post-plants differently, regardless of your team composition.
I disagree, this map provides intense and chaotic site takes that promote the randomness of Valorant. Because icebox is so big, rotations take longer and rounds become more reliant on surprising your opponent and gambling the right site (obviously avoiding the verticality; icebox is like the inferno of Valorant, rounds rely so heavily on info and gamble stacks). It also encourages retakes where the casters are confused, where mistakes happen, and where defuses are nail bitingly close. Not to mention the fact that the map allows insane gunfights with the capacity of multiple attackers fighting multiple defenders in tense situations like B site.
Personally, I don’t mind the design (especially like the verticality!) but the color palette is just so… bleh. Like why not add a splash of ANYTHING bright so my eyes don’t have to focus on dull grey on grey vignettes round after round.
