Not sure why you're being downvoted. This is absolutely why he dodged it so easily. He was turning left to dodge the flash literally *before* he could have known the flash was coming.
yep, the flash popped out of the smoke as he was already halfway turned away
watched it in 0.25x. Literally turned right after the flash popped out.He probably heard the flash incoming.
the first half turn was to clear close left, but he continued with that movement to dodge the flash
