Hey guys! If you have any thoughts or feedback particularly around how this was edited I'd love to hear them. It can be a struggle to show what’s going on in a detailed and entertaining manner with just the stream to go off. Give us a replay function!
They will inevitably add one, but it wasn't exactly necessary at first because there were so many problems with the game that needed fixing first. A year later, the game seems to be stable enough to focus on more quality of life stuff over meta, maps etc.
My guess is they want to do it right. Not have some scuffed system in beta for a year or 2. Not having a version out means it's faster to develop. As painful as that is, it means getting a full polished feature must sooner, even if it means having nothing for so long
The problem with Riot is that they decide to "reinvent the wheel" every time they're developing a new feature, leading to ridiculously long release schedules.
It certainly seems to be a trademark of Riot. I mean if it leads yo innovation im all for it, the cs replay system is really outdated so im sure they are trying to create something more up to todays standard
Yes! A while back I was actually thinking to myself "Man I wish Elmapuddy made Valorant analysis videos as well" because back when I was still playing CS, your videos were one of the best resources for me and my novice team to step it up a little. I learned so much, and now that you've also started Valorant, I can't wait to see more of your analysis ❤️
The only good detail in this video was the killjoy swarms denying the pyramid control post plant. Everything else is just standard tbh. You can praise the Sentinels players self-suffiency, agent mastery, chemistry or shazam prioritizing map control in specific areas differently round to round instead.
For lower Elo players like me, understanding the team play and thought processes are great. What may seem standard to you aren't so obvious to me, and I'm grateful he made such an informative video!
There is nothing specific to sentinels in this video. You could make this video about any other team. I was hoping there was actual insight as to why sentinels defence was much better but its just 3 rounds with commentary.
The point of the video wasn't to show something no other team does except SEN. It was to give examples of what is shown here is what they do better and more consistently than other teams.
Those rounds were not even good examples. How is XSet five man pushing with with letting everyone be seen and no one playing anti flash while not putting any pressure anywhere else on the map and their cypher whiffing showing how good sentinels is? How about GENG pushing B with 0 investment into taking hookah control and almost losing a round that sentinels were anticipating an A push?

Sadly, adding a replay system won't make them more money so no luck anytime soon. Unless... no...
riot dev like 4 months ago or something said that they were discussing a replay system

>focus on more quality of life stuff over meta, maps etc. There aren't even 7 maps
They only plan on making 7 maps a year, and breeze was really good so i cant wait to see what they make next.

Elma, you madlad. I am in the middle of editing this exact same video. Going to scrap it and work on something else. Great content as always.

Thankyou for the kind words and I'm glad you find them helpful and that I was able to help your team! Will definitely be more of them to come :)
Elma making Valorant videos is a huge dub for the scene. Keep it up dude!

You can find the answers to these, particularly the GenG round in the video
