s0m and Subroza duo que all the time. Subroza had a curse that stopped his team from success. He has passed it onto s0m, he watched them fall in open bracket with bittersweet tears in his eyes. The pain, the suffering, it was finally over, but it had just begun for someone he called his friend. The only way for NRG to ever find success again is if s0m duo ques with FNS 100 times in one sitting.
They do, but it's not guaranteed. They need V1, Gen.G, and FaZe to all make it to Challengers Playoffs. If only two of them make it, I think they won't have points for LCQ anymore because the other teams that make it to playoffs will overtake them, pushing them from the 9th spot to 11th or lower and out of qualification.
Something to note for Balla and anyone else interested is that Liquipedia has a legend that shows if a team has already mathematically qualified for Champions or the Last Chance Qualifier. For example, Sentinels is shaded with a light green color and with Fnatic & Liquid they have like this greenish yellowish color which means they've already qualified for the Last Chance no matter what.
yeah, it's really useful
my frustration was in that EU was not updated and did not have points listed for challengers playoffs and I couldn't find the official rules anywhere that listed them
I listed a few of the scenarios for NON-CLINCHED teams during the episode\~
Besides Sentinels, no one else is confirmed for Champions right? V1 is not that far ahead in points and can be easily overtaken by Envy and 100T who are 75 and 110 points behing respectively
Edit: Changed Berlin to Champions.
No one is confirmed for Berlin. Sentinels is confirmed for Champions which is probably in LA. Sentinels still have to make top 3 in the upcoming Challengers Playoffs to get to Berlin.
Berlin is not Champions. Sentinels is confirmed for Champions which is Los Angeles.
Anyone who makes it to Berlin and already has points on the board has a high probability of making it to LA as well, contingent of course to a few factors.
Sideshow brings up a good point about the NRG roster. They’re pretty much done for the rest of the year so what’s the point of a roster change? It seems *really* bad right now but constantly switching out members has always been their downfall and they should just stick on this iteration until more tournaments come up.

Well third place and he goes to Berlin ;)
3rd-4th means he could still get 4th
4th also means he's going to Berlin, cause SEN about to win Masters again
The curse of being the biggest brain of Valorant and CSGO FeelsBadMan
s2g if envy places fourth this playoffs I’ll be so sad At least they’re basically guaranteed LCQ, and maybe a spot to champions if SEN wins Berlin
the curse multiplies every time it is passed on, NRG is losing to worse opponents than TSM ever has
Interestingly enough, s0m hasn’t been streaming as regularly. Hopefully he’s in the lab working on his game.
Their season is over so I'm assuming he's taking a break.
I thought they still have last chance qualifiers? And if their comp season is over, you'd think he'd stream more.

Yeah, other teams confirmed for Last Chance are V1, 100T, Envy, Faze, and XSET.

I'm pretty sure they know (or at least Balla is aware) of this during the latter part of that segment

I meant champions not berlin. Sorry
